Holiday rentals with breakfast in Piacenza

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

The accommodation at Angela's is located in a beautiful area, from the window you have a panoramic view of the wine-growing area. Angela's house makes you feel like home. Angela and her husband are very warm and pleasant. Thank you!

Perfect home for short stays. Clean and equipped with a hearty breakfast and water. Antonio is very clear in the description of the access methods.

It's not just the place we were hosted, it's about the welcome you received. Extreme availability to meet with great costs to unexpected needs, making available more than expected. The house is really nice, kept with great care, maintains an atmosphere of yesteryear, despite being perfectly functional. A place to stop even for the rebels on the way.

The place was a walking distance from metro and centrale and was nicely decorated and clean! Enjoyed my stay here :)

We absolutely landed on our feet with the apartment. Giulia and her family were excellent with their communication. We got great advice from them regarding the area and they really helped us out with checking in and checking out. The apartment was by far one of the best equipped that we have stayed in and we loved everything about it - - a very comfortable bed, - very effective AC, - really well equipped kitchen, - great shower, - we loved chilling on the balcony and watching the old trams trundle by, - the Penny supermarket below was good value and well stocked, - Artisan gelateria was a great daily excursion, - Isola is a great area and we enjoyed mingling with the locals, especially at the Lucky Bar (we loved the culture of aperitivo), - Transport by tram and train was so easy to get into the city and out of town, - When we come back to Milan, we will make sure that we book this apartment again and we look forward to staying here. - Grazie mille Giulia, Marco and Adriana

Amazing Airbnb , cannot recommend this enough . It’s in a great location which is on the quieter side but it’s within distance of all the trams and metro connecting to the centre . The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly . The apartment was clean , extremely well organised and equipped just as shown in the photos and is perfect for two . Will definitely be back!!

The host gave us a warm welcome and truly embodied the hospitality Italians are known for. It was a wonderful start to our journey in Italy. He provided us with helpful restaurant recommendations and even kindly stored our luggage after check-out. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for two adults. The air conditioning was a great bonus, especially during the warmer days. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and cafés, and it’s conveniently located near all major stations.

Marco’s apartment was perfect, he gived us clear instructions and we felt directly home. Location was very good. We will surely comeback. Thank Marco

It always feels like a privilege to stay in someone else's home - and Federica's flat is really great, lovingly furnished, with beautiful floors, and a super view from the balcony. The downsides are minor; there's quite a climb to get to the front door of Federica's apartment, and she's on the fifth floor - which is a problem if the lift doesn't work - but she did sort the problem out remarkably quickly! We made very good use of the Metro, which is very clean, quick, and convenient. The local market was delightful (and the Oriental Market wonderful - though a bit of a journey to get to.) We slept well in the very comfortable bed - on a couple of occasions being serenaded to sleep by an owl in the local woodland. A Museum that I would warmly recommend is the Museo Sant'Agostino. The boat trip to Portofino is delightful, but take a picnic and walk up to the church - the restaurants are overpriced and not worth it. Thank-you Federica - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time at Francesca's place and she made us feel very welcome. We had everything we needed and were happy to come back here every time to rest after a long day of exploring the city. Would recommend!

The host sent us a lot of useful information before check-in, and we were able to enter the house very easily. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated. The location of the house is very close to the train station, which is a big advantage if you're planning to go on tours. You can reach the Duomo in 30–40 minutes on foot. There are also some great restaurants in the neighborhood. It was truly a wonderful experience. Endless thanks to Tadzio for hosting us. Hopefully, we’ll come back one day.

The check-in was extremely flexible, easily arranged with Annarita, which allowed me to focus on my activities without any time stress. Large, clean apartment, equipped with everything you need (including a hair dryer with diffuser). Fully equipped kitchen. Upon my arrival, I found fresh water, fruit juices and yogurt in the refrigerator, as well as tea and coffee, available to guests. The area is quiet, secluded from the center and the fair, but Parma is small, in 10-15 minutes by car you can reach both. Reserved parking in the courtyard. Every now and then you could hear a train passing by, but the windows filtered the noise enough, so I rested well at night and they didn't wake me up (despite my light sleep). There are shutters on the windows, so there is no total blackout, but it is a subjective limitation (I always travel with a mask anyway). Comfortable bed. There is no elevator, but the apartment is immediately on the first floor. Positive experience.

Words cannot explain how lovely this place is! We enjoyed 3 nights here. Monica is a wonderful host and cook!! The scenery is breathtaking. The accommodations perfect. We explored much of the country side. We look forward to returning someday. It felt like we were at home. Thank you Monica for everything!

Had an excellent stay at Corrado’s place in Milan. Corrado was very communicative about the check in process and made it very clear. The interior was clean and as advertised. The space was small, but we only stayed for one night and it was perfect for what we needed. Felt safe and secure inside. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay with Roberta was excellent! The accommodation had everything for a few days in Milan. The metro was within a stone's throw and the first sights within walking distance (<30 min). Breakfast was more extensive than we had expected. The stay is in a quiet area. Roberta was home a little later than we arrived, but that was no problem because her daughter helped us. Both were very friendly and helpful!

Amazing stay, the hosts are very charming and warm, our only regret is not having spent more than one night there! Breakfast was super good and home-cooked. I recommend you go for a unique experience and it's one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at. Thank you for everything ☺️ Ciao!

Very nice accommodation, extremely friendly host

The plane was delayed for 2 hours, so I had to arrive at the accommodation at 11 pm, but I was able to enter without any problems because it was self check-in. I was able to park comfortably in front of the house, and it was also possible inside the house. The room was clean, spacious, and fully equipped, and the bathroom was separated into two, so I was able to use it comfortably. There was an air conditioner in each room, and the self-made breakfast was abundantly prepared, so the disadvantage of not having a kitchen was not emphasized. I had a good rest!

Elena and Isolina's farmhouse is beautiful, period and very well maintained. Spacious and clean room. They are very kind and also available to give advice on what to do in the surrounding areas. Excellent breakfast on the terrace overlooking the hills of Canossa. It was really a pleasure! I recommend this place
