Cozy Haven – Sunflower Room & Pebble-Floor Bath

AlRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I recently stayed at a homestay in Yên Bái, and it was one of the most peaceful and memorable experiences I’ve had in Vietnam. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by the host family. They made me feel like more than a guest — I felt like part of their home. The location is surrounded by lush green mountains and morning fog that gives the whole place a magical feel. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds, the scent of wood fire, and the fresh mountain air. The scenery is breathtaking — it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit quietly, sip tea, and take in the beauty of nature. The homestay itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The wooden house has a traditional charm but is still comfortable, warm blankets, and even hot showers. This place is perfect if you’re looking to escape the city, connect with nature, and experience authentic local life. It’s not luxury — it’s something better: real, grounded, and full of soul.

Imani Eco Sky Lodge Ngoc Chien

Amazing little hide-out up in the mountains. Need to be a bit of a wandering spirit to venture out here but you’ll be rewarded with the stillness and atmosphere one needs to do a proper brain reset. Oh, and love dogs, cause you’ll get escorted by them frequently while out and about. Highly recommend this place.

Sung village homestay - Travel Neighborhood

Elisa Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent 3 days in two different villages: the village of Sung and the village of Da Bia. In both villages, we were greeted by host partners. In the village of Sung we were able to experience the culture of an ethnic minority from Vietnam in the heart of the hills. We reached the village of Da Bia on foot and via a private boat. We discovered a pretty little fishing village there. During these three days, we were hosted very well by our hosts and the inhabitants of the villages. We felt a real sincerity and their desire to communicate with us despite the language barrier. If you want to take a few days away from the hustle and bustle of tourist regions, this stay is for you. These villages are a real haven of peace. Small bonus: The food was excellent and carefully prepared. Probably one of our best memories of the trip.
