Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Philippines

This was our second time staying at one of Bee's places, and our stay was fantastic. Bee's a wonderful host, and her property is gorgeous and quite peaceful. Bee's very helpful in providing information on where to eat, or where to go. She also provides plenty of amenities, and ensures your stay is very comfortable. Getting to town is easy as she provides a tricycle ride to town square during the day, so there's tons to do during your stay.

Fantastic spot amount the chaos of general luna, Only downside was the ceiling fans in the outdoor area being out of action, had a couple of pedistool fans in place though. Pool was cleaned regularly and was at a perfect temperature. Aircon in the rooms was super cold and worked a treat, just what we wanted. Host helped arrange transfers to and from locations, super helpful. Would recommend, seeing other accomodation that friends were staying at, this one was a clear winner.

Very nice as others have mentioned. It’s actually nicer than the pictures show. We enjoyed our stay and will return. It’s outside of the city and in a peaceful place. They were very accommodating for our wishes. We did not use the kitchen but it has most everything you would need and is located out on the beautiful patio overlooking the pool. It’s very spacious with a nice large tv to relax. The pool area is resort quality. It looks like two separate rooms in the pictures but it’s all just one room for the guest to stay in. Highly recommended.

Good nice quiet ambient. If you live in the city this is a nice change. Like others mentioned consider renting a vehicle takes too long and places too far to walk besides small local shop. Wildlife inside house is common but ok

Davids place was in a beautiful location, although slightly remote. The salt water pool and private beach were lush! The service was absolutely amazing, cannot fault it, especially cliff who went out of his way to ensure we were looked after every day and night.

We were a group of 12 on a Holy Week break - 3 families with teens and young kids- and rented Balai LaHi as well as the Sunrise Room. This place overdelivers in spades!! When we weren’t enjoying the beach out front, we lazily lounged around the house. There were many different areas to chitchat, reconnect, play board games; and equally many quiet corners to read a book, crochet and take naps. The hosts, Cholo and Tor, were amazing - they helped us arrange services for a cook and kitchen helper; provided us with great directions and restaurants to try, shared Lenten schedules and personal tips to enjoy the festivities. But beyond helping with logistics, they were always warm and welcoming and made us feel like long-time friends instead of transient guests. All in all, it was a wonderful stay - we came for the Moriones of Marinduque, but we will return for Balai LaHi. It was the easily the highlight of our trip!

Casa La Vie was a great stay for our family. Our hosts Julius and Marietta were very accommodating. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, and the Metro Manila Skyline view was stunning. The living and dining area could use an AC, and a pool heater would be a nice addition. Overall, it was a lovely experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a good stay at this small compact apartment. It has one bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2 single foam mattress on the floor. The place is clean and drinking water was provided. The apartment has several steps from the gate to the main door and it could be an inconvenience if you’re carrying a heavy luggage. The apartment has a lot of stairs going up to the room. The apartment has a cooling unit in the living room which is a bonus. It is located inside a subdivision. Trike is available if you don’t have a private car. It’s around 2km distance to SM mall. The host is very responsive and helpful. Overall our stay was good. Only issue which probably needs looking at is the toilet seat that is wobbly and the shower water pressure needs boosting.

Our stay was lovely. With your own private gate to a coral reef at the bottom of the garden and a stunning view to match, you could not be in better surroundings. Chin Chin and Litho, our caretakers, took care of any requests we had when we asked them. There are a few local eateries within a few minutes' walk from the property and you can get a bus into Dumaguete right outside the house - it takes about 45 minutes. The only things to note are the numerous cockerals that crow at all hours and the fact that the water pressure in the shower is quite low. Apart from this, if you love being off the beaten track and you want a slice of local culture, then this is the place for you!

They could’ve prepared free slippers, but the overall experience was great. I’ll definitely book the place again in the future.

Michelle was the best host ever. She was responsive, helped coordinate rides and had great suggestions. There were some power outages because of municipal work and she did her best to keep us comfortable.

Beautiful home. Great host. Great location. Easy access to all of makati. I’m American, own a home in Cebu, yet travel to Manila quite often. I will put this location in my rotation of stays.

This is a recommended place to stay for those who want to enjoy a private and quiet resort for adults. Everything was as described. There were detailed and accurate instructions on how to get there from the airport and how to check in. There were plenty of towels and a gift of snacks in the room. The clean kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was also very comfortable. The resort staff were all friendly, and the area was very calm and quiet. The resort building is quite far from the entrance, so you need a taxi to get out. You can purchase a one-day pass at the resort for $1,800, but the maximum you can use for meals is $1,100, and breakfast was $1,000. There are not many fish on the compact private beach. If you want to enjoy the beach, I recommend joined an island hopping tour.

The place is beautiful and perfect if you travel solo. It’s so nice to have complimentary water in room especially with cebu’s heat. Also the condo building is amazing and perfect location. You won’t go hungry in IT park. Def will stay again when I’m back because room is clean and efficient with space.

This was the perfect room for me and my partner, everything we needed was there, and it was so clean and cozy. We loved everything about our stay! Sir Elmer was also very accommodating and responses very quickly! Would love to book this room again ☺️

While this place was just a resting spot between locations for us, the space was perfect! The view from the massive windows was amazing! We sat and watched a storm roll in and out over Cebu City. The design of the space maximized the studio apartment and made it feel very spacious! Check in was easy, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. It was a short walk to the IT Park which had a lot of food options and shopping, as well as a market. I would recommend this place to others who are looking for a place to stay in Cebu City.

I am very happy with my stay, I hope I can come back again soon. I'm really satisfied and I keep telling my wife that I love the place. Aly is responsive and friendly. Thank you!

Good place, pretty much exactly what’s advertised. Keep in mind that if you have guests, they have to trade in their IDs for a visitor card. That was pretty annoying but more of a building policy than anything else. Great views, great HVAC system, very nice and accommodating host. Would book again
