a wonderful, cozy house. complete silence. one of the two nights we saw an incredible starry sky. it was so low and most of the stars were like huge diamonds. bright and big. I have never seen such magic in any observatory. and after a while a meteor flew by. a huge orange ball with a strip of light behind it. which lasted for several seconds. the sight was incredible. we were driving from San Francisco - of course the road is not easy and in some places there is impassable road. but nature compensated for everything.

We had a fantastic stay at Lawrence and Kym’s place! The location was absolutely perfect—close to several great hiking trails. The space itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. The hosts, both of whom are artists, nicely decorated the home with their art. Lawrence was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

I had such a relaxing stay at Darlene’s home outside the city. The house was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy, welcoming feel. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet, with beautiful surroundings and nature close by. Darlene was a thoughtful and making sure I had everything I needed. I’d definitely come back for another escape from the city highly recommended!

What a wonderful house! Clean and well furnished. And in the middle of a wonderful, pristine region. We loved the whole stay.
