Monthly Rentals in Petherwin Gate

Steve and Sally were excellent hosts. They provided us with local produce on arrival (the bread and eggs were amazing!) Their dog was very friendly towards our dog and the location was perfect as we were close to our family was also staying down the road.

Mary communicated very well with us and even gave us the flexibility of checking in early and checking out late due to availability. That was a nice touch, as was leaving some fudge for us on arrival. The garden was a good size and allowed our Guide Dog puppy in training some space to have a run around, which he loved. He did sneak out through a gap a couple of times but the location is very quiet, being on a No Through Road. The house was very clean and tidy and there was a lovely kitchen and lounge to relax in. We did find the stairs a bit troublesome - they are wooden, quite steep and have no carpet which my wife found a bit tricky. The bedrooms are situated upstairs and the bathroom and toilet are downstairs. This made nighttime visits a bit tricky. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, a good base from which to explore North Cornwall.

Very well equipped and stocked - it has everything that you can possibly think of and more. Quiet location with fabulous view but minutes away from the town centre. Had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend

Great few days at Stephen’s place. Superb central location to visit different places in Devon and Cornwall. Site was quiet and the caravan was just right for what we needed.
