Holiday rentals with lake access in Pere Marquette Township

My family and I selected Ellie’s house for fall break. We were seeking a destination that would help us recharge, relax and recoup. The setting of this home is so beautiful and relaxing. The back patio is perched above the picturesque Lake Hamlin. The house is equipped with many windows to help you enjoy the view from inside as well. We found just what we were looking for. I must give Ellie the highest compliment possible for her care, responsiveness, and friendliness. We had all needs met and she communicated very well before and during our stay. We would like to come back again someday! My family gives this home a 5/5.

If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is the perfect opportunity. This cottage will allow you to enjoy a no stress vacation. We had 7 over 60 women in in our group. It is a large place with tons of beds. All stairs had railings on them. Bathrooms did not have railings which made it difficult for some of us. Also there was no outside lighting which made it difficult for some of us. The lake was nice to swim in and the large umbrella near the beach was very nice to have. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire. Al in all it’s a perfect place for a vacation but might need a few tweaks for seniors 😀

The location was amazing! So great to be a stones throw away from the beach and the beautiful sunsets over the lake! Greatly appreciate that the kitchen was stocked. The room with the bunk beds and kids play area was amazing for the littles! Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This was a last minute booking as our initial Airbnb for the weekend wasn’t usable to do an unfortunate circumstance. What a great last minute place to stay. We took day trips to Ludington to find some beers & eats. The house itself was as described, very clean and cozy. The hot tub was a plus and also very clean! A great place to kick back and enjoy peace & quiet! Highly recommend!

House was great, rope swing was a huge hit for our children. 5 and 4 year olds were able to make the walk multiple times to the beach. It was a peaceful and quiet stay. Managed to hit the Manistee river for some trout fishing. Carolyn was very responsive and accommodating. Great host!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We had a great time, definitely a cozy stay, enjoyed the paddleboat, our kids lived being on the lake as well. we recommend this guest suite and look forward to staying again!

We loved our stay at jeffrey’s place! From the pictures, we were expecting it to be great but it exceeded our high expectations! The location is perfect for exploring traverse city. The decor is elevated and the space was more than sufficient for our group of 5. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds felt high-end. It’s not often when all bedrooms have a king bed! We were thrilled. Would highly recommend!

This was my fifth visit to Ron and Judy‘s Airbnb. As expected, the area was pristine, very clean, and had all the amenities that we needed. Ron and Judy are awesome hosts. They truly make my sister and I feel like family. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and very relaxing and peaceful. It’s a short drive to visit quaint towns for shopping and enjoying the outdoors.

Location was perfect for all of the up north adventures like sleeping bear dunes, Leelanau Peninsula, hiking, golfing, and of course Lake Michigan. This spot was a perfect quiet retreat at the end of the busy days, and had stunning views! I would happily stay here again.

Jeffery had a wonderful air bnb right in the heart of traverse city! It was so nice to be able to walk to all the activities and restaurants in the area. In addition- the place has so much charm and the bed was extremely comfortable!

We were in town for the Bayshore Marathon, and this was a great spot! Views of the Bay, walkable to downtown TC. Quiet street. Comfy and clean space. Thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend!

Denise and Don have created a beautiful place for guests to feel both on vacation but right at home. This is our second stay and won't be our last. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable, stylish and super clean with everything you might need. The views from every window are stunning. There are endless activities of which you can take part (hot tub, billiards, ping pong, pickle ball, paddleboarding, kayaking, sunbathing, biking or walking the Betsie Trail...and that's just right outside your door). Denise made delicious breakfasts for us a couple mornings which was a wonderful treat. Riding on Don's pontoon boat is always a highlight and we loved visiting with both Denise and Don and their furbabies. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Had a great Memorial Day Weekend trip here! The cottage feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible. Our daughter enjoyed the VHS collection, box of toys, and the old-school high chair. Plenty of ways available to enjoy the outdoor space (boats, fire pit, grill), and endless outdoor activities in the area (we enjoyed a couple of easy hikes and a relaxing beach day). Ericka is a great communicator and was very kind and welcoming, as were the neighbors that we interacted with. We would absolutely recommend this place, and hope to visit again someday!

What a great stay! I love an A frame and this house was perfect. It was well stocked - even had plenty of wood for the fire pit. The s'mores welcome kit was perfect. I will say that if you have a hard time with stairs then this house probably isn't for you because the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs but Carrie has several other homes to choose from. It really is peaceful. There are neighbors but they are quiet and we only saw one set of neighbors the three days we were there. The dirt roads to the house weren't bad either. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family. Actually am seriously considering taking my 3 college age daughters for a girls' weekend.

Booked Holly's place for a week to fish Lake MI - even though we were 35 minutes from the launch, we really liked the location and solitude. We loved this place and space - and the price was great. This is a wonderful place for anyone seeking peace and quiet and worked very well with us - thank you Holly!!!

This little cottage is perfect for your getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! We loved the homey feel, and the cottage has a great vibe! We spent lots of time down on the lake and appreciated the boats that were therefore our use! We had a Fire each night and laid out on the dock and looked at the stars, we could see the Milky Way! The cottage is simple, but everything you need! The bed was really comfortable, several fans were provided, lots of books to enjoy, the kitchen was well stocked, and I liked the deep clawfoot tub! My favorite part might’ve been the tree swing! I would love to stay here again!
