This place was nothing short of amazing. The photos did not do it justice, as soon as we opened the door we were impressed. The room was immaculate, the bed and linen was great quality and the room smelt amazing. We enjoyed a wine tasting where we were easily able to walk back to our room, there was also a picnic basket that we took out and enjoyed some wine while still being at the vineyard. I would stay here again and certainly would recommend it to anyone who is looking to enjoy a peaceful environment.

This place is an absolute gem. Right in the beautiful forest, filled with wildlife, privacy & an overall great experience. From the moment you arrive you feel calm & at home. The accommodation was great & homely with the gas fire heater which was a nice touch during the cold periods there. Sassafras had great restaurants etc, plus the local people are so kind & inviting to tourists, I've never been to a town where everyone is so pleasant & happy! Not to mention the hosts of this airbnb are incredibly kind, generous with their welcome packs & communication was perfect! It was also a pleasant treat to be greeted by kookaburras, Rosella's & parrots each morning on the balcony! I highly recommend this airbnb & location!

The stay at Jessica's was very relaxing and perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The bakehouse down the road is sensational and recommend the forest walking tracks nearby. We look forward to coming back again. Brett & Brooke

We had a great time at the stay. The place itself was cosy and beautiful. Justin was a very responsive host and gave us clear instructions on everything.

We were looking for an amazing place to stay for our weekend trip and found it completely exceeded our expectations. The cottage comes with everything you need for a great getaway, from the fabulous beach only a short walk or the yummy cafe just down the road along with everything inside even some beautiful bread and jams. The bed was really warm and comfortable even coming with electric blankets if you needed some added warmth. We had the best two nights sleep we had in ages. Don’t miss a chance to stay at this great hideaway.

The log cabin, surroundings and views were amazing. Both rooms comfortably appointed and the kitchen and dining area well laid out and functional. There is a steep gravel driveway leading up to the carport, so if you have a city car, be careful when driving up, especially if it is raining. There’s some steep stairs up to the cabin, but not too much of an issue. The cabin itself is very comfortable and with the ducted heating and fireplace in the lounge room it’s very cozy. The rooms have their own air conditioning to warm things up as well. The views are absolutely stunning especially in the morning. Coffee on the enclosed veranda with those views are definitely worth it. It is a bit of a drive up and down the mountain to get to places, but there are also very nice places close by to get food and breakfast in the morning. There’s a botanical garden nearby in Olinda which is a must see.

Great place

Had a great time with my partner, 1 year old daughter and 2 dogs. Theres a blocked backyard section big enough for the dogs. Also under cover so dogs can do their business when raining. Renee was a great host. My only note in terms of access and location is that the entranceway is steep and has very sharp terms. We had an all wheel drive Rav4 with high clearance so we had no issues. But it's just something to keep in mind as its always wet there. Apart from that, it was great!

Sandi’s place is perfect described accurately. It’s on a working farm so be ready for the noises, the bugs ,lots of comings and going’s , visiting dogs which my dog loved!!! And me too. A peaceful relaxing break away I had the best time, reminded me of my childhood staying on my uncles farm . 20 minutes from anywhere on the Bellarine . Thanks so much for letting Dave and I stay we loved every minute.

We had a lovely time at the cottage. It was very homey, the beds and couches were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed to be able to cook, and it felt safe for our toddler. It was great to have big grounds to walk around, and to have a bbq down by the river. The playground is basic but a great addition. The listing doesn't really make it clear but it's part of the 'Sanctuary Park Cottages' so it's not entirely private, but the cottages are well enough spaced that it wasn't a bother. The location is great - it's very close to Healesville Sanctuary and Badger Weir, and not far from Healesville main street. We booked ready for there not to be a pool since it is listed in the amenities but not mentioned in the description. It exists, but it looked very dirty and we didn't consider it usable. The only other issue we had was that the beds had doonas but not sheets.

Badger Creek has been a welcome location to my wife and I, before and now with children. The location is quiet and relaxing and a beautiful drive into town. We spent the Saturday at Lake Mountain and came home to an open fire, board games and a wonderful home cooked meal. We will continue to come back.

Hey!! Just thought I’d leave a little review for this beautiful property. My best friend and I came here for a little disconnect from reality and couldn’t have wished for anything better! It was wholesome, clean and so peaceful. Full of excellent amenities and the host even asked us what our milk preference was! I highly recommend to anybody considering!

The views were / are stunning! I actually could figure out the tv lol over all , highly recommended ! 10/10

Amazing place, very clean and comfortable!

Greg’s place was as described, clean neat, well renovated and cosy. Beds were comfy 5 minute walk if that to the General store for coffee, and everything else we needed was a 7 minute drive including a great pub. Plenty of other places to see we’re with in 35 minute drive. There was also everything we needed for breakfast and a better than hotel minibar.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you so much for a clean and cosy cabin. Close to shops which is a bonus, as well as the beach!!

This place is "next level". My wife and I searched for a place to get away together to celebrate my birthday. Thankfully, our first choice fell through! From the moment we arrived, it just felt cosy and warm. We explored as far up as Marysville, and what an awesome place to return to. Kate and Michael were so accommodating! Could not fault their hospitality and attention to detail. We will be back! We will be recommending 'the eleventh Oak' to absolutely everyone! Look forward to revisiting in the not to distant future! If we could give 6 stars we would! Thank you!!

Super cute place to stay with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed how private the cabin was yet so close to good wineries.
