Where to start.. the place is amazing beautifully designed and furnished. With an amazing view of the surrounding hills. The staff Manoj and the team were very helpful in helping a tourist navigate the area and sorting out taxis etc. The food from the chef was delicious and I felt like I was eating like a king. Shampa was and continues to be very generous in guiding me on my travels through India with lots of suggestions and connections to her friends around the country. I can highly recommend a stay at the Umri.

Wonderful property with wonderful hosts, beautiful surroundings, peaceful. Neat and clean house. Would like to give extra stars for wonderful hosting of Nitin. For sure will visit again. Special mention - kids enjoyed a lot.

A beautiful escape from the bustling no city, felt like this was one of the best options to go to. A great property and great caretakers catering to your every need. Especially since I went with my furry friend, with whom even caretakers did not have a problem with even though he got a little anxious in a new place. The property is well situated far from the busy lansdowne which makes it more peaceful and isolated to stay at. The food prepared was great, felt just like home. Thanks Amit for this wonderful stay, looking forward to come back some day

It was a steep trek to the place. You should carry only essentials for the stay. Thankfully we were informed before, and they had an option to leave at their hotel down near the town. It had stunning Mountain View with relaxing beds. Food was tasty. Overall we loved the stay.
