Courtney was kind and considerate. I wanted an early check-in and as the initial cottage was not read she allowed me to stay in the second room and accommodated my 10am arrived. I was extremely grateful. she was also extremely communicative and friendly throughout. thank you Courtney 😊

As many have shared previously, Sharleen is an absolute delight, and her space is a reflection of that kindness and care. A small, but perfectly sufficient and cozy space for you to rest, recuperate or plan your Johannesburg days from. The location is walkable and conveniences are not too far away. Sharleen has made the space ever so welcoming and is easily reachable should you need/wonder about anything. Thanks for a great stay, and I look forward to coming back someday.

This Airbnb is a rare gem. Jaco puts lots of love into details, which makes you feel at home immediately. The apartment is very clean and spacious, even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. With literally everything you need. Including a private outside shower! Jaco is an outstanding host, always there to help. He invests a lot of love and care into the Light House and you can tell. I will definitely come back!

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!
