Guest house holiday rentals in Papamoa

We had a great stay in this lovely house for three days. The place was so clean, quiet and the view was amazing. Easy access to the city and to the venue of Mercury Arena. I highly recommended this place if you want to visit in Tauranga. I would like to thank Diana for letting us stay in this house. She is very responsive when we need a guide about the place. Again, thank you Diana and hopefully we can meet you when we get back to Tauranga by next year for another tournament.

Lovely place to stay. We felt very welcome and our dog had a great time too. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the location being only a few minutes drive to Tauranga or the Mount. Kaz was very helpful with local recommendations and was very friendly and accommodating.

Sharlene’s place was well equipped and very clean. Upon checkin there was some milk, cereal, bread and spreads which was greatly appreciated. All the beds are comfortable and there’s a very functional kitchen. Sharlene herself as a host is also very kind even helping us get on top of our pile of washing when there was wet weather. I will mention for other travellers that the window coverings keep out very minimal light so if you’re a light sleeper or will be adjusting to new timezones an eye mask would be good. We had portable black out blinds with us but not enough for both bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again

Clean, today, easy to find and very affordable

A wonderful spot for families! Feed the chickens, a very cool Stage, kids just loved the loft and bunk beds. We would love to return one day.

Tony and his wife were really friendly. Tony was so prompt to messages entire time. As we were so late to check in he was so kind and waited for us to arrive until midnight. Also, he gave us a warning regarding transport at night time in case we needed it. The day we were leaving was 2 nights earlier than we planned, Tony gave us a refund. His wife was planning to take us around to show animals to my son as it had been raining the whole time and that was the only sunny day but we had to leave. I recommend this place if you want to have some private time as it is so quiet and peaceful.

We had a great few nights here, it was an easy walk to cafes in the morning and easy to get around to other locations around the mount. The Airbnb gets lots of morning sun so it can get pretty warm inside, but it was a lovely comfortable stay overall.

Was a gorgeous stay. Short walk to the beach. Cute little getaway if you’re wanting some small and intimate. Would definitely come again.

Beautiful house in a great quite location. Nice walk around the house. Brian and Louise are lovely people. They had provided lots of information about the area and recommendations. Henry and Ted cafe recommendation was worth visiting . walk to beach is 8-9 mins. we would love to stay again. Thank you Brian and Louise.

Only got to use this space for a short time. Airbnb was absolutely adorable! The decor was charming, and it felt so cozy and welcoming. Beautiful linen, had everything i needed. The location was perfect, close to town but also far enough to be amongst the beautiful orchard. I would definitely stay here again!

Rochelle and Mark are great hosts. They live right next door but you wouldnt know they are there. Very responsive if you need them but very respectful of your space. Great balcony upstairs to soak up the last of the autumn rays and get on with a bit of admin with good wifi. Really long walks on a lovely empty beach within minutes away. Cats came to say hello but you wouldnt know there is a dog next door, so well behaved. A nice stay in a nice area. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emma & Andy’s place. A perfect distance from Tauranga and The Mount, while still being secluded and surrounded by nature. Our little one loved the sheep, dogs and horse! Great value for such a lovely spot.

I had a lovely stay at Katherine’s Airbnb. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a private entrance. While the temporary scaffolding over the entrance made access a little tricky, it didn’t affect my stay. The fully equipped modern kitchen was a standout feature, making it easy to prepare everyday meals. The apartment also offered a great space for family to visit and relax, which made my stay an even more enjoyable experience. There was plenty of room - in a comfortable setting - to sit, chat, and host family meals - several times during my visit! Unfortunately, traffic noise during the day was noticeable and especially distracting when sitting outside. Katherine was an excellent host, going above and beyond by allowing me to use her private laundry room. Overall, a great place to stay—clean, well-equipped, and with a welcoming host. I would definitely recommend it!

Stayed at this place in Jan2024! The house is amazing , very accessible, clean, walking distance to beach and town. The host had the house really well stocked and she was easy to contact. The pool is excellent especially if you have kids. I would highly recommend this place, it is good value for money.

Jan and Dan are personable, kind, and went out of their way to show hospitality to us on our 20th anniversary getaway. Loved the time!

Amy and family were very welcoming and amazing hosts. They provided me with everything that I needed and the accommodation was perfect, clean and tidy with all the amenities i needed. It’s in a lovely area and close to everything. I would definitely recommend. Thankyou Amy and family. 😊
