Holiday rentals with a patio in Pamlico Sound

This place is a historical old home with lots of charm and whimsy. In the evening there's local musicians playing and there's drinks available for purchase in a old brick courtyard with a fountain and lots of comfortable furniture The owners are on premises during the day to answer questions and make sure your stay is perfect but they aren't intrusive or meddling at all The suite i stayed in had everything for a comfortable stay, the suite was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall vibe was welcoming and kind

We loved spending the weekend at Papa’s Place. My boyfriend and I were looking for a low key, quiet spot to get away and relax, and this place was perfect! It is walking distance to several good restaurants and the beach while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The people of the neighborhood and of Buxton as a whole were friendly and helpful. Papa’s place is the perfect size for a couple, and the full kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook. The highlight of our trip was sitting out on their porch with their cat Juan!

Jason and Crystal were great hosts. Their place was beautiful and we fell in love. Easy beach access nearby. We rented a car just to visit other places that were not walkable, which was beneficial. They provided beach towels, chairs and umbrella which we had the pleasure to use everyday. Their place is very cozy, makes you feel right at home. Everything was smooth with check in and they were great resources for the surrounding area and were able to give recommendations on restaurants, beaches, bars and nearby shops. Can’t wait to visit again, will definitely look for their listing. Also, for those visiting, don’t get discouraged by the weather. It stated rain all week for our trip and we seen small amount of rain. Made it to the beach 3 out of 4 days! Thanks for the great accommodations. Jen and Frank.

We had a great time at this place! Very accurate description and faithful to the pictures. Kitchen and bathroom in pristine conditions, clean linens and lots of gadgets to bring to the beach. Those bikes and the V shaped scooter was plus! I highly recommend it!

Lil Dock was great! The view & being on the river was wonderful. It was very peaceful & quiet. The sunsets were so pretty! 🎆 We enjoyed spending time on the dock in the morning & the porch was great with the Trex decking. We enjoyed the location as there was minimal traffic & it was private. We love going to New Bern. It is a quaint town with lots of good restaurants, shopping & friendly people. Lil Dock is a gem & we would definitely stay again! ❤️ Thank you Nelson & Elizabeth! 😁

We had an amazing stay. It was located in the heart of everything to do! You could walk out and walk right across to the river walk or turn left and be right in the middle of all the restraunts! Plenty of shopping and EVERYWHERE was pet friendly so our 4 legged best friend got to come with us everywhere! I would highly recommend Ellen and her properties to anyone!

The space is great. Perfect for a family of 4 if your kids don’t mind sharing a bed. Bedroom is plenty spacious worst case to add a twin air mattress if you need. Plenty of space in kitchen and great patio off third floor. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Serendipity! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We had tickets to see The Lost Colony in Manteo, and this place was much more reasonable than staying in Manteo. The location can’t be beat. It’s right on the water, quiet and peaceful. It was also a short drive to downtown Edenton. Georgianne made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again!

This listing was a perfect place to stay for a weekend in the OBX! Great full kitchen, living room had plenty of space, the bathroom was so clean, and the bedroom was big and the bed was SO comfortable. I LOVED the outdoor screened seating area… I wanted to stay longer! The host was super informative about the area and gave great suggestions for things to do. She was super friendly and helpful.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we absolutely loved it AGAIN!!! The view from the screened in porch is amazing - coffee on the porch every day. It’s right around the corner from the Doll Tree and near 2 of the Ocracats houses. Maggie allows dogs and that allows us to bring our 3 small ones. If there were any animals in the house before we were there - you’d never know. Maggie - thanks SO much for sharing your home and allowing ALL (pups) of our family to enjoy it. We’ll be back!

A wonderful place to stay!!

This is a beautiful home with gorgeous scenery. It was peaceful, clean and very inviting.There are a dozen hummingbirds that live in the yard and the back porch is a heavenly. I loved it here.

Spent a wonderful girl’s trip in this condo and enjoyed every second. Beautiful, clean space, easy beach accesses, and walkable to my favorite restaurants. This was the perfect place to stay to introduce my friends to OBX for the first time. Would absolutely stay again!

We just returned from an amazing vacation for our 18th Anniversary. It was our first time to Topsail, so we didn't know about no beach access at high tide, so that was our fault. We walked down quite a bit to be able get more beach time. It was nice at high tide to sit on the balcony though. So peaceful and the break we needed. Condo was nice and just as pictured. Great location within steps to the beautiful Outer Banks beaches. Steve's place is comfortable, stylishly decorated, and so close to the ocean that you can fall asleep to the waves crashing upon the beach at night!

What an absolute gem this place is. The home was very homey, comfortable and clean upon arrival. The amenities, the view and location was everything the host described a more. This is the perfect spot for a very calm and relaxing stay. My little family of 3 went from 3 to 4 this year, so we have a new little 4 month old addition to our family and even with an infant the stay was beyond pleasant and relaxing. Everything was at a much slower pace and it was just overall such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.
