Holiday home rentals in Palermo

I travel often and I get about 6 to 8 Airbnb rentals a year all over the world and this was by far my favorite. the layout is perfect and the bathroom is clean with a huge stand up shower and the terrace is my favorite part! The location is phenomenal with everything around to do and beautiful views of the water and mountains in just a 5-10 minute walk! Francesco was so friendly and so welcoming! I want to return to Terrasini for a longer stay (was only here 2 days) and I will never book any other place to stay- I plan on being a frequent renter at Francesco's home ! I really am so happy I found this place and I hope you will book with him as well, you won't regret it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Siamo stati molto contenti del nostro soggiorno nell’appartamento sotto tutti i punti di vista. L’alloggio è comodissimo ed estremamente pulito, offre tutto quello di cui si può avere bisogno e le camere sono molto spaziose (si dorme molto bene). Noi avevamo noleggiato un’auto e il parcheggio era molto comodo. La posizione è ottima per visitare la zona intorno a palermo, (in massimo 1 ora si raggiungono Cefalù, Monreale, Trapani, Riserva dello Zingaro) e poi la zona non è trafficata quindi si arriva velocemente a prendere l’autostrada. Se non si vuole prendere l’auto anche la spiaggia di Mondello è molto bella e molto ben collegato a Palermo. La sera siamo sempre stati a Mondello e grazie ai preziosi consigli dell’host (gentilissima) abbiamo provato dei locali buonissimi tutti negli immediati dintorni dell’alloggio. L’host è gentilissima e molto disponibile e ci ha anche recuperato quando ci siamo chiuse fuori alle 6 del mattino (grazie). Mi piacerebbe ritornare

For me this is a very typical Italian apartment with a high ceiling and a cosy interior. The apartment is located approximately 700 meters from the central train station with train and bus connections to the airport. It’s also located close to a green area or sort of park, which is in general is a rare thing in Palermo. Both Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsolino grew up within 100 metres from the apartment. The apartment is right next to Piazza Rivoluzione where there’s a great variety of restaurants and bars.

Great apartment in the heart of Palermo. Steps from restaurants, bars and numerous sites. No car needed. Easy to communicate with host. He arranged transportation for us which was a huge help!

Wonderful place. Close to the beach (5min drive), it is a 25min walk but better to drive with the position on a steep hill. We explored a lot of the area - this little town Castelmarre del Golfo was our fav. And Riserva Di Zingarra was the most picturesque and clear water in the whole of Sicily. The house is as described. Being north facing it doesn’t get sun on the veranda in the time we were there (Autumn) and was chilly sitting out front (we also had some rainy days). Also the WiFi bandwidth took strain with our remote work needs (2 video calls simultaneously), we needed to hotspot data. But worked well when 1 person online at a time.

The location couldn't be beat. It is located steps from the Quattro Canti and yet it was quiet at night with the doors and windows closed. We were very comfortable and the building felt very secure. Tiziana left a guide to the area with her suggestions. She was very responsive to our questions, too.

Spędziliśmy wraz z moją dziewczyną, wspaniały tydzień w Palermo i to za sprawą Pani Valentiny, pomijając szczegóły jak to że mieszkanie było bardzo czyste i wszystko zgadzało się z opisem, to na miejscu otrzymaliśmy przekąski, mapy z atrakcjami jak i lokalnymi restauracjami co było bardzo przydatne. Gdybym miał się wybrać do Palermo jeszcze raz na pewno znów z wielką chęcią skorzystałbym z noclegu od tej Pani.

We had a fantastic stay at Marcello's house. The location is perfect - on the doorstep of Alcamo Marina beach, a 7 minute drive to Alcamo, 10 minutes to Castellammare Del Golfo, 8 minutes to Balestrate. The house is functional, clean and has everything you need. Marcello is very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this stay.

We had a great stay here! The place was super clean, tastefully decorated and Valentina had left a few things to have breakfast. Valentina was a great host she left us a lot of great and detailed suggestions, connected us a with a driver who brougth us from the airport when we fist arrived, and when we mentioned that we wanted to visit a small town where my girlfriend's great granpa was born she drove us there for a more that reasonable fee. Overall, one of ours best expiriences with airbnb.

Nous sommes ravi des deux nuits passé chez Salvatore. Même si de prime abord le quartier n’est pas très sexy, chez Salvatore on se sent bien. Le parking est un vrai plus. Et tout est propre, soigné et cela fait un petit logement bien agréable pour visiter la ville. Salvatore est hyper joignable. Merci à lui !

I travelled to Palermo for a psychiatry conference and I must admit that this is one of the most beautiful apartments I have ever stayed in. From the outset, Enrico and Marcello were extremely friendly and helpful, booking a lovely car to arrive to their penthouse. Even though I arrived very late the hosts were there to greet me, and it felt like arriving at a friends' house. The pizza kindly provided by Marcello was very welcome when I woke up hungry the next morning! That was the only time I ate in the apartment, as Enrico gave such wonderful recommendations for restaurants that our whole group tried a different one each night. If you haven't been before, Palermo is a bustling, hectic city and the apartment is so centrally located, yet away from it all. the bedroom is so quiet! Other delegates complained that their apartments were really noisy but not mine! All the plants are beautiful too. Great that Enrico and Marcello take recycling seriously. I was sorry to leave but I'll be back

Maria and her husband have been welcoming, provided kind touches during our stay and gave us useful tips for visiting Palermo. The apartment is well equipped, spacious with seating option on the roof terrace and views of the mountains including a large space in the garden which will be great on warm days as it has a roof with shade and an outdoor shower. It is a good place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Palermo.

Diese Villa war einfach fantastisch! Die Lage ist unschlagbar – nur wenige Schritte vom Meer entfernt, sodass wir jeden Morgen mit dem Rauschen der Wellen aufwachen konnten. Die Unterkunft selbst war wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt – von der gut ausgestatteten Küche bis hin zur gemütlichen Terrasse mit Meerblick. Besonders gefallen hat uns die entspannte Atmosphäre, die perfekte Mischung aus Privatsphäre und Nähe zur Natur. Hier kann man wirklich die Seele baumeln lassen. Angelo und seine Frau waren zudem sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Man sollte unbedingt mit einem Auto kommen, wir haben uns leider auf die Buse verlassen was leider nicht immer optimal funktionierte um in die nächsten orte zu gelangen- schränkt aber die Qualität der Villa keinesfalls ein. Wir können diese Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen definitiv wieder!

I had a really nice experience staying at this Airbnb. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and they were able to take care of a few customized needs during our stay, which I really appreciated. The sea views were absolutely spectacular — definitely one of the highlights. The flat itself was quite generous in space, and having two terraces was a big plus, especially since one of my guests could enjoy their own space. I also really appreciated the air conditioning, which made the stay much more comfortable. Just to note: there is a bit of a walk uphill to get to the flat, but the hosts do mention this in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise. All in all, a great stay!

All I can say is WOW! Book this if it’s available and you will not regret it. This place felt like a castle and was an incredible location for us to spend a few days. Everything was beyond perfect. Highly recommend!!

Så fint bemötande och avslappnat. Patrizia är väldigt trevlig och även hennes personal i keramikverkstaden. Vi köpte med oss ett underbart fat hem och bakgården har gett oss inspiration till vår egen trädgård som vi håller på att skapa hemma🌷. Vi har sovit fantastiskt gott och njutit av vad Palermo med omnejd har att erbjuda!

Lo Studio 338 è un'oasi di pace in centro città! Organizzato ed arredato con gusto impeccabile nella scelta dei rivestimenti delle pareti e del pavimento, dei mobili, delle luci e della tappezzeria, è anche perfettamente attrezzato ed ha spaziosi armadi. Elena e Maurizio sono host gentilissimi, accoglienti e pronti ad intervenire per risolvere qualsiasi problema possa presentarsi. Un alloggio vicino a molti servizi (bar, fermata del bus, supermercato, farmacia) e a pochi minuti dal centro storico, che si raccomanda vivamente di scegliere per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno a Palermo.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich super! Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und Silvia und Ewald waren tolle Gastgeber und das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Sie waren sehr herzlich und haben super mit Tipps versorgt. Der Bootstrip mit Ewald war unglaublich. Danke fürs alles. :) Oh, und das Frühstück war Mega!

Enjoyed my stay here. Very spacious place for 1 traveler. Everything matched description. Host was very responsive. The location is in a walkable area to everything you may need. The only thing I will point out is if you are a tall person this place may not work for you considering the ceiling height. Other than that, I really did enjoy my stay here!

Davide’s flat is easy to find, just a 2-minute drive from the main road, yet perfectly quiet and peaceful. The apartment is beautifully decorated, modern, and well-equipped. Beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen, while basic, has everything needed for a week-long stay. Davide thoughtfully provides both pool and bath towels. The outdoor space is a highlight—immaculately maintained gardens and a lovely pool ideal for relaxing in the sun. Secure gated parking is available via key fob. The surrounding area is stunning, with Alcamo just 5–10 minutes away and the picturesque coastal town of Castellammare del Golfo about 12 minutes by car. It’s also within driving distance of Palermo, San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, and the hidden gem of Guidaloca Beach. A fantastic stay—great value and highly recommended. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, et la maison Mare e Cielo a-été un vrai plus: la vue est à couper le souffle, la mer à perte de vue, les bateaux, les dauphins... De plus, l'appartement est confortable et fonctionnel. Notre hote Rosella est incroyablement gentille et disponible! Allez-y les yeux fermés ! Enfin non : gardez-les bien ouvert pour profiter de la vue !!😁😁

My family and I had a great stay in this apartment. Two balconies with sun on different time of the day, quiet street with walking distance to all of the historical centre, cozy piazza, bakery and supermarket just around the corner, and sweet neighbours. Salvatore was proactive and sent us a lot of info about what to see and do and made sure to make the suggestions child friendly. We spent eight nights in this apartment and was amazed on how safe, quiet, fun and easy Palermo is.

We really enjoyed staying at Vincenzo's place! The flat actually matches the pictures (which look great), even in size, which you rarely find on here. Vincenzo and his supporter Giacomo, were super proactive making sure our stay was perfect and we had everything we need from restaurant recommendations to figuring out how transportation works. Definitely recommend them and the place!

We had 5 people and this Airbnb was great! The whole place was really nice, exactly how pictured in the original posting. We stayed right at a week with 5 people and it was very comfortable. The electronic locks were very nice. No keys to remember and everyone could use the locks via their smartphones. Maria and Sofia were great, very responsive and accommodating! We will definitely stay here again the next time in the Palermo area.
