The hosts have done a very classy job of renovating this historic inn. The food and service was excellent, and the room, bed and bathroom above expectations.

Katie offered a warm, relaxed and friendly home. She went over and above board and cooked me a splendid cooked breakfast and gave me lots of local information, as I was curious about the area. I felt right at home as she made me feel welcome, and we shared some great conversations.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Priesthole Cottage. Access to the larger grounds of the main house and the heated pool were the icing on the cake. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, characterful comfortable cottage, great host in Iona, and the wonderful town/area of Stokenham & Torcross. Thank you Iona!

Superb experience with a welcoming host and brilliant location. Hans looked after us during our short stay, always willing to lend travel advice. The highlight was absolutely the breakfast. Truly set us up for a day out and incredible value for money. Thanks Hans!

Emily has a lovely caravan in a quiet spot on an otherwise busy site. The caravan felt surprisingly spacious and it was great to have that second toilet available. It was also lovely and very convenient to have the shower. The site offers a lot for families with several play areas, crazy golf and swimming pools.

Lovely spot in the caravan park, views of the sea, short walk to the beach, excellent storage, good on-site amenities although we didn't use the leisure facilities. Alice was responsive and very helpful. Weather wasn't too bad either

an amazing welcome with some wonderful home baked goodies including a birthday cake and balloon for my husband. The beautifully decorated Beach Hut supplied everything you needed plus more. Perfectly located to explore the spectacular South Hams coastline. Simon and Annie provide lots of local information, whether it's cliff top walks, beaches or restaurants you want to know about. Highly recommend and most certainly will return.

Fabulous location. Chalet itself in idyllic setting but also only a few minutes drive from Sidmouth making it a brilliant place for a holiday. So handy having a shop and cafe next to the chalet selling all sorts of homegrown delights. Chalet has a lovely living space which were able to relax in. Would highly recommend.

We stayed one night at Katharine’s beautiful cottage for a weekend break in Devon. The cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Katharine was very welcoming and we would definitely stay again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully located studio. The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We felt very at home and enjoyed the peaceful countryside that surrounds the property. Enjoyed being close to Dartington gardens, the river dart and Totnes. Good value in terms of location. It’s ideal for exploring south Devon and having a peaceful place to stay while you’re there. Would stay again - although studio was slightly smaller than it appeared in the photos.

We enjoyed our visit to Mill farm. Nice views and very peaceful. Loved the accommodation and the bed was so comfortable. Our children played with Derrys 4 girls and we felt very welcome. Thank you

We stayed for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year and had a very peaceful stay while visiting frineds in Bovey Tracey. The location is perfect - just a short drive into Bovey with great access to Dartmoor. We were 2 adults with 2 teenagers and a small dog and even though there is only one bedroom the futon was perfectly sufficent as a second bed for our short stay. Everything was spotless and to top it of we were greated with some welcome snacks. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks.

We needed a place of peace and quiet but with easy access to visit friends around the Silverton area, Michelle’s Retreat was perfect. We walked locally too to Martinsfield National Trust Farm The kitchen is lovely and good for cooking with a proper oven and hob and plenty of pots and pans. Heaps of glasses, cutlery and crockery. Only missed egg cups which Michelle arrived with after about 2 minutes… proper sized dishwasher and handy laundry room.

Pat and Isabel are great hosts, very friendly and very responsive. The place is in a quiet section of Torquay, yet not far from the beach and marina. Everything is as described, and kitchen is well equipped. The unit feels spacious because of two levels of living space.

The room is absolutely wonderful and has everything one needs. The house is in a very quiet area just outside of Exeter and in a beautiful setting. The room has a very good size, is clean and perfect for a good night's rest. Rachel is the perfect host. I would recommend this place for your stay in Exeter

Great location and property to explore the area of the Exe Estuary and around Budleigh Salterton. Catherine's instructions were spot on, she really does provide a home from home experience, down to basics in the kitchen for our use and the pint of milk and loaf of bread was a lovely touch. Plenty of towels of all sizes! Comfy large sofas and bed. A nature reserve is walkable so if you are into wildlife, then its well worth a walk to Budleigh Salterton and Otterton Mill. We were lucky to see many birds and hear those hiding. Even a beaver came out on the River Otter on an evening walk. Food at Sir Walter Raleigh pub, a community owned pub, extremely friendly, was excellent. A real great local pub. L'image Cafe in Budleigh great for coffee and brunch and Topsham a quaint village. You can take estuary boat cruises from there, we ran out of time. Needless to say, we loved the area. Nature reserves around Topsham and one is on a cycle route with bikes to hire in Topsham.

Jon & Karin have created a luxury home from home, the setting is idylic and the welcome so friendly including a little welcome pack for the essential cuppa. We will happily book again, and again :-)

Heather made us feel right at home. She greeted us at check-in and gave us a personal tour, along with suggestions for family activities and walks. A beautiful apartment set in stunning surroundings, clean and tidy. Host was friendly and very responsive and helped with finding taxis etc. Absolutely immaculate with views for miles. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

A wonderful long weekend spent at the brilliantly equipped and real ‘home from home’ St Elmo Lodge. Simon and Kymme are perfect hosts with quick responses, clear instruction, super friendly and great bakers !!! We wanted for nothing and every detail had been thought of. Special memories were made here.

A lovely lodge which was perfect for us, stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, amazing stars on a clear night due to no light pollution. The lodge was squeaky clean with plenty of towels and thoughtful extras like milk, tea bags, flowers etc. The garden was perfect and lots of country roads for walking nearby. Tony gave very clear directions and was very friendly, made it easy for us to check in. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Thank you!
