Beachfront holiday rentals in Paignton

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

A lovely week’s stay in this gorgeous cottage. Very remote- you need a car Recommend Pub up the road for fish and chips Southern Devon railway and ferry to Dartmouth Hiring a boat in Salcombe for of an hour Billy can for takeaway coffee North and South beaches

Stay Salty was excelent, central location and very close to a car park. Dog friendly and a beach just round the corner within easy walking distance. a couple of 100 yds. As bad weather was expected on one day Matt offered to supply extra dog towels if needed, totally unexpected but shows the level of service. Teignmouth was good and within easy reach of larger town if the need was there. Would recommend it to anyone who fancied the area along the glourous South Devon Coast.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

A lovely home, well equipped and close to all amenities. We had a great week there. Would thoroughly recommend though not necessarily for the less agile. Several steps in the house and steep staircase to upstairs. But has a beautiful downstairs bedroom and shower room.

Just come back from a lovely stay, the cottage is very cosy and has everything you need, the views from the cottage are amazing 🤩

The garden flat is a very pleasent place to stay. Everything in the kitchen works well, the bathroom is lovely and the bed very comfortable. The outside space is a great space to sit and watch what's happening in the estuary. Claire is a good host, friendly and amenable. The village of Shaldon is easy to walk to, with a couple of nice pubs , and friendly people. All in all, a very nice place to spend some time.

We had a great couple of days here. We had never visited Dawlish before and found it was a lovely place that we used as our base to visit other areas in Devon. Clean apartment, quiet with picturesque views.

Jen’s place is great, we absolutely loved it and felt right at home. The space is really homely and extremely spacious - we loved playing the board games when the weather wasn’t great and using the balcony when the sun popped out. Would definitely recommend and would 100% return. Thanks so much

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! 100% recommend staying here. Mark has covered absolutely everything you could wish to have. All the latest appliances, every TV option to watch.. place was absolutely spotless which is very rare in my experience staying in other rentals.. Our old dog was happy here. Place was warm, lovely bedding and towels. very close to some stunning walks, Brixham harbour is gorgeous! We would love to stay again. Mark communicated well . Fantastic host 10/10

Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We even extended our stay by 2 nights as we didnt want to leave. The apartment was really lovely, had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen. My boys loved the tennis court and swimming pool. The views from the apartment were stunning overlooking the sea. we started each day with a morning (very cold) swim in the sea followed by a lovely coffee/hot chocolate from the cafe on the beach. I would highly recommend Des's apartment. We will definitely be returning

We’re a young family of 6 and stayed for 4 nights during the Summer half-term holiday. The apartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. It is very well located next to South Sands beach and adjacent to the Harbour Beach hotel. It was great to be able to make use of the pool & spa in the hotel. We all had a great time, and this apartment will definitely be on our shortlist for our next trip to Salcombe!

Had a fabulous bank holiday weekend break in Brixham at Polly’s beautiful house. Well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to eat the house and Polly recommended some lovely spots to eat and drink. It’s in an excellent location for surrounding towns like Torquay and Totnes. Some nice secluded coves for swimming within 20 mins drive. Would thoroughly recommend, thanks Polly!

We had a really lovely stay at Sea Thrift. Emily is a wonderful host and gave us all the details we needed to know before our stay. We were also able to contact her if we needed during our stay. The hut is gorgeous. So peaceful and relaxing and a lovely view of the sea. The hut is tastefully decorated including some lovely artwork created by the owner. We had a lovely walk along the coastal path towards Dartmouth , enjoyed the sauna at Blackpool sands beach and also a paddle board. We feel refreshed and relaxed and hope to be back again. What a lovely welcoming fella. So helpful and quick to respond on any enquiry. Everything was home from home and they had thought of everything we could need throughout a short or long stay. Even fresh flowers in the kitchen and lounge. Milk in the fridge with a bottle of bubbly too. Tea and coffee to hand after a long journey. Clean and modernly decorated. Comfy beds and quality bed linen used. Toiletries provided - incase you couldn’t bring your own. Shower was powerful and spotless. Location, was perfect. Didn’t need to use the car, once parked on the driveway as the bus service was great. Child and dog friendly. So, much to see and do if you choose and/or just chill out inbetween. Great choice of accommodation and will definitely return again

Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it. I'll definitely be coming back for sure and will hold the trips memories with me for many years to come. Thank you Lou and Tim for sharing this amazing space and good luck for the next venture!

This was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We use Airbnb for our trips all the time but we have never experienced such a beautiful stay. From the scenic views to quick access to the beach, the stay at this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. We really didn’t want to go home, and we will definitely come back. The Airbnb was very spacious with all the amenities you may need. The location was close to other areas and there is a coastal path on the doorstep! Definitely visit the Rio cafe that is on the beachfront and only a short walk from the Airbnb. The place was also very clean. We will be definitely coming back!

A beautiful place to stay. The interiors were elegantly styled and absolutely pristine. The super comfy bed and delicious scones were a lovely extra! Would love to return one day.

What a great location! Brixham is soaked in history (I know - I wrote a historical novel set here, A Spring Marrying, with scenes just a couple of doors down and others on the boats and in the streets right behind). This house occupies one of the most beautiful places to see it all. You get all the feel of a busy harbour, but somehow still in a peaceful setting. Everything inside is clean and new. Annie kept us well informed all along and we knew exactly what to do. Just be aware - I had a bad knee during our stay and there's no way to the house without quite a few steps. Inside the staircases are also steep, with the bathroom on the second floor. It was not a problem - but give yourself time if you have restricted mobility.
