Holiday rentals with lake access in Paignton

Upstairs bedrooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Very homely. Large table meant we could eat as big family. Excellent dishwasher and washing machine. Freezer was a bit small. Proximity to beaches and coffee shop and pub superb. Great place for family meetups. Natalie's communication was great and very helpful.

We were made to feel so welcome straight away. We would highly recommend Lance's Airbnb to everyone. Nothing was too much trouble to ask and we found the location and cottage to be a wonderful break.

We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.

Incredible views in the most serene setting you could imagine. The location is also perfect, with a lovely pub opposite and Bantham beach just a short walk away. The property was spacious and well equipped. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a great stay with our two daughters for a week over 1/2 term. The location is spectacular, on a secluded part of the Dart estuary. There is a great restaurant by the house that does a lovely breakfast and tasty evening meals. The area is lively during the day with people coming to eat and with families crabbing on the tidal pool but it is super quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings when the restaurant closes. There is lots for kids to do in the town, crabbing was a favourite but you can go kayaking from right outside the door and we saw a lot of groups of adults and kids having sailing lessons on the main estuary. Paddling boarding is popular in the area and you could get out at almost anytime of day, including on the tidal pool if the main estuary was very low. All in, the town is a real hidden gem and Chris’s house is in a prime location to make the most of it.

Beautiful house & fabulous location. 3 generations of us (16-85) & good for us all. Very homely house with everything you need. Enjoyed the views from the bedrooms and window seat. We loved the activities of the ferries and the bustle. There is some noise from early morning til late evening from the ferry ramp against the dock, but we didn’t mind this at all. 2 great pubs in Kingswear for food & lots of places to eat in Dartmouth. Lots to see & do locally. The parking was £77.55 for the week in the marina car park. Lots of spaces. Didn’t drive all week. So lovely to relax here & we hope to come back again. Highly recommended!

A great space in a quiet part of town but easy walk to the town and the beach. Parking at the long stays was organised via permit. It is a decent walk to the long stay car parks, but perfectly manageable for us.

We had a great stay at Jeff’s place. It’s in a lovely part of town, very near the train station and centre. Beautiful, leafy views from the room window and the bed is very comfortable. Jeff is very friendly and went out of his way to help us with various things. We were able to leave our luggage in a secure place after checking out, which was brilliant. Can thoroughly recommend!

lovely small comfortable studio apartment, had everything I needed for my stay, kitchen, shower and good size bedroom, I slept extremely well. Has the added bonus of a parking space. Jane is a lovely host and easy to contact. It was a home from home and in a great location for shops and exploring Devon. I certainly will be back. would highly recommend. 😊

Beautiful flat ideally situated on Torquay cliffs - which means a fun 5-minute hike up and down the paths for the beach. The flat is decorated with nautical theme and is super comfortable, quiet, peaceful. We had everything we needed from soaps and dishwasher tabs to towels and gowns. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay here! We were fortunate with the weather so we could explore the most beautiful coastline! Super lovely pub and cafes, with friendly staff. Our dog loved the beaches! Helen was very welcoming, kind and helpful! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful, chilled out stay! Note: the outside area is a great sun trap spot for a good read👍 Thanks Helen - we thoroughly enjoyed!

We absolutely loved our weekend in Debbie's place. Perfect location. Lake is beautiful, walled garden perfect for the kids. We also loved having the pool to ourselves. Also we didn't have to rush to check out as Debbie said she didn't have another booking so that gave us more time to squeeze in a morning swim. We will be visiting again for sure . Thanks Debbie ❤️

Sarah's place was a perfect fit for us - A nice farm experience in the heart of Devon, close to beaches (25 mins drive), nice shop near by for essentials and a beautifully built & maintained place. We came to Devon to help our daughter have her trial classes and Sarah's place has had us fall in love with Devon and the area. The heated indoor pool was a hit with our family. A nice place surely worth a visit. The wifi is blazingly fast & I was able to do my days of "WFM" easily. Point to note is that there was no telephone signal at home, this can be trouble for folks who expect to be connected to the world using phone.

Great location that makes you feel in the heart of the countryside. The beach is only a few minutes drive and larger towns around 20 mins. The accommodation is perfect for our kids - they were off exploring with Nick’s children and we hardly saw them! Even on a rainy day the kids were outside in one of the many different areas onsite. Nick was really friendly and made it feel such a relaxing holiday. Always happy to help and chat. Felt more than just a place to say. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Karen’s cottage. The location is perfect with lovely walks on your doorstop, excellent pub just along the road and generally great for exploring east Devon. It’s a cosy cottage. Wood burner heats the lounge quickly and our dog loved the heated floor in the kitchen. We loved the hot chocolate station! Highly recommended and look forward to returning.

We stayed with our two young children for a week. The complex was slightly difficult to find, as we arrived the dark but the instructions were clear, it's just that it is really out of the way. The cottage was extremely clean. The surroundings were beautiful with lush gardens, tenniscourt and great indoor and outside swimming pool. The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful as can be. Altogether a very good week.

Set in stunning countryside with wonderful walks, just a couple of minutes drive from Aveton Gifford and the tide road.

Even before we arrived, Suzi was prompt with answering our messages. She met us and made us feel welcome when we arrived, with cream tea for two, and offering us clear instructions on how everything in our nicely renovated apartment worked. She went out of her way to help us in numerous ways during our three week stay. We got to know the area (Shobrooke/Crediton) not least because of how helpful she was. We would not hesitate to return; gone only a day and we already miss the farm fresh eggs!
