This place was small but very nicely done. It was the perfect space for our little family to stay on our trip. Debby is a great host - responsible and generously provides snacks and all the little details you would want. The place was very clean, cozy and really well set up for the space. We loved it and would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. We were close to family members we were visiting. Also, we were close to South Padre and we would love to come back.

This is my second stay at Enrique's place. Absolutely enjoy staying there as it is located in a quiet and peaceful place. We enjoy having coffee in the balcony overseeing the beautiful resaca and all his beautiful plants. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. Has a nice kitchen and dining area. I highly recommend Enrique's place!!

Weather was not the best ie cold & rainy so spent more time in room. It was cozy and had what we needed to be comfortable . Kitchen was adequate . We travel with a small K Keurig pot and our own coffee so we had an easy am . So close to everything . The one nice day I was able to walk to the beach . All other restaurants were close and easy to get to. Bed was comfortable and really only comfy spot to watch to the rainy days . It’s basically a hotel room with nice patio area. Pool and hot tub are shared with others in the larger house area . We did not use either because of the weather. Meet other guests just once very nice . Dayna was helpful before and during our trip . Worked well for or first trip to SPI . Stayed 5 days looking for maybe 2 months next winter in a larger unit on the island

This is a lovely place with everything you need. It is in a residential area near restaurants. It was quiet, very roomy and comfortable. The host quickly responded to questions and proactively reached out when weather was unexpectedly harsh. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our first of what I hope to be many many stays and everything was wonderful. The AC was going when we arrived which was wonderful with how humid it was and traveling with an infant.. I give Bernice 10 stars if I could, the room was fresh and the little decorations really made the whole house feel welcoming. We really enjoyed not having to worry about keys or losing them and being able to park off the street was wonderful as well. We really had no issues and Bernice was very responsive to any messages. We definitely recommend if you want to stay close to the beach and be close to all the fun activities offered in Corpus Christi and South padre!

Casita del Sol is truly a hidden gem tucked away in the peaceful community of Laguna Vista, just 12 short miles north of South Padre Island. My wife and I stayed for four days and three nights, and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and attention to detail throughout the property. The casita is beautifully decorated with a warm, coastal vibe that immediately puts you in vacation mode. Every space feels thoughtfully curated, blending beachy elegance with a hint of romance. From the cozy furnishings to the ambient lighting, everything was designed to make us feel relaxed and at home. The outdoor area was a major highlight. The pool and hot tub were absolute perfection, especially at night with the soft glow of romantic lights surrounding us. It felt like our own private resort! Casita del Sol was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—kitchen essentials, towels, toiletries, beach gear and more. It’s clear that Mike and KK have gone above and beyond

We had an amazing stay and will be back again! This was a beautiful place with lots of amenities. Lots to do in this location and made it very convenient for us to stay in the area and not have to drive too far. I highly recommend this place and Hear her was amazing throughout the whole process!

Nice spot with a great, responsive host! Close to the airport and close to Starbase. Smooth and easy check in and check out.

BEAUTIFUL vacation rental and felt at home. At arrival loved the attention to detail of snack basket and frame instructions. Lizette responded to our questions quickly. Also loved the provided bathroom basket for those that may have forgotten to take essentials. Hope to return in the future.
