Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busier street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.

Country Cottage by the Pool!

The "Cottage" is a private one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house with a full kitchen that overlooks the backyard pool. The house is situated on 40 acres outside the city limits of Abilene, Texas (Potosi to be exact.) When you arrive, you may see horses grazing out in the pasture, two loving Collies & the farm cat "Major." We hope that our guests enjoy the peaceful country all while being minutes away from entertainment, restaurants, airport & hospitals.

Simple 2 bedroom duplex (pet friendly but no cats)

Simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. We accept pets, but no cats due to our allergy, sorry!! Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!

The Dug Out Hideaway is on 10 acres in the country, on the side of a mesa. We have hiking trails through a cedar forest. Wildlife such as deer, fox, racoons, and coyotes could be seen at the feeder near the house. Clear beautiful night sky. Spectacular view overlooking Abilene and countryside. Waterfall on back patio with a view of the mountainside. Large fort for kids to play in.

I would definitely stay with Laura again! While in proximity to the main home, the Airbnb space provides privacy, cleanliness, tranquility and enough space to feel at home. The stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom and cozy bedroom made for great accommodations during our weekend travels. We especially appreciated the dog friendliness and backyard accessibility!

We’re so grateful the host allowed us to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday here. It meant so much to find a place that welcomed a small gathering, most places don’t. The pool was perfect for the party, and we all had such a blast! The backyard was great, and the patio made it easy to relax and enjoy the day. Inside, the home was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt super homey and peaceful, and the neighborhood was quiet too. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t change a thing!

Me and my wife were in town for a wedding and were looking for a nice quite place to lay our heads. This is exactly what we got. place was very private on a beautiful Christmas Tree Farm. Place had everything we needed and the location was even better. Great host and and a great place. Will book again.

Lauren’s place was actually want me and my daughters needed. We stayed here during my relocation for work until we found permanent housing. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. The location is quiet and peaceful. Our host communicated well and was very responsive. Kenny is a very inviting and pleasant host. Situated far off a dead end road, the location is secluded and peaceful. The cabin feels like a set in an old cowboy movie, very cool decor in western/native Indian style. The cabin comes well stocked and has all the amenities you would expect in your own home. Kenny is a great person and will bend over backwards to help anyone. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Side note:The pig feeder is awesome. Family of a dozen pigs comes to the feeder at dusk/dawn every day. Among other critters.
