Enjoy a relaxing vacation at this waterfront home nestled into the Cross Timbers forest with beautiful panoramic lake views and a partially covered swim dock on deep water. Truly, this home boasts some of the best views on Possum Kingdom and has expansive, open water in front of it. This cute and cozy home has 2 bedrooms and 1 Jack-and-Jill bathroom with shower. Full kitchen opens onto large living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace. The best location on the property is definitely the 1100 sqft deck. It is perfect for relaxing in the shade or sun, grilling dinner out, and dining under the stars all while enjoying the lake view. House is located on Possum Kingdom's peninsula. Boat ramps, restaurants and grocery store are all 5-10 minutes away. Located in the heart of Possum Kingdom's award-winning hike and bike trail system (see map under photos) with scenic lookouts over Possum Kingdom lake and the Palo Pinto Mountains. The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away. Current registration and proof of insurance is required for the dock.

There are only 3 cabins on this site. The cabins are labeled 4,5,6. This is cabin #4. This Gorgeous cozy cabin with a view of PK lake. Private Large fire pit with four Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining table, string lights, Weber smoker and rocking chairs, as well as Corn hole. Inside is a spacious cabin with large tv (Roku) stand up shower, Queen bedroom w/tv, set of bunkbeds & fold out futon. Kitchen is small but well equipped. Only 5 miles to Rocker B!

We loved this house! The location is right on the water with a long dock to fish from. The outdoor patio, grill, and fireplace were great for a cool night. I spoke with the host on several occasions just to ask questions, and she was so friendly and responsive. We can't wait to visit again.

We had a great time at this quaint cabin. The property itself is peaceful and just what we were looking for. The river had high waters during our visit, but we would LOVE to come back to enjoy it to the fullest. The host was responsive, even when we embarrassingly locked ourselves out at 9pm! We had zero complaints, and had a wonderful weekend.

Want for nothing! Host was kind enough to share kayaks and a lilly pad that our kids LOVED. Kids had all the items needed and the gas grill was super nice to have. Enjoyed evenings by the fire pit looking over the water. Enough room for all 7 of us. Kids really enjoyed the attic/hang out space. Only 2 minus were spotty internet sometimes while trying to do some work and that the ladder on the dock came off so we had to wade to shore. Very small downsides haha!
