Barndo on the Ridge is located in north Abilene not far from downtown and close to S. 1st. The Barndo sits at the top of a hill surrounded by pure west Texas country. One of a kind loft! This unique apartment was built in 1920 with our Sears Craftsman home. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

Our little unique bungalow is located on Sayles Blvd. Right across the street from McMurry University, 10 mins to ACU, 9 mins to Hardin Simmons. Close to Downtown, and 10 mins to the Abilene Zoo, and Expo center. We do NOT allow pets.Parking available for NO More than 3 vehicles NO parking on the grass. Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busier street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.

Modern, cozy duplex close to downtown!!

Very simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). House is located to close to Sayles Boulevard and Butternut street, which makes it a breeze to get around. There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!

Cutest little cottage we've ever had the privilege of staying in! The day before, I received directions on how to get inside. I liked the fact that there's a secret code to get in instead of key i had to worry about not losing. The house was exactly like the photos. Extremely clean, comfortable beds and the extra fans were awesome because we like to sleep in the cold. There was a chalkboard in the kitchen with recommendations about local places to eat and things to do. My family of 5 came up for the weekend for my cousins wedding. We went to the zoo the morning before and when we got back the power was out due to a storm that pushed thru. I accidentally interrupted Paula during church but she was SUPER fast with her response! She went above and beyond and contacted the electric company and let us know the power would be back in about 2hrs. We went to eat and it was back on before we got back. Paula checked on us later to make sure we were ok. I would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the bunkhouse was relaxing and cozy. Sweet dogs that the kids enjoyed. The hosts really thought of everything when supplying the bunkhouse. Great coffee selection and thoughtful snack basket including snacks for our toddler. We ate in Buffalo gap at the Silver Buffalo Saloon for dinner and the Gap Cafe for breakfast. Both were wonderful and a quick drive. Overall a great weekend!

This is a very cute and cozy place. It was spacious and it had practically everything we needed. Alecia was very responsive and we definitely appreciated that. Although we would prefer not parking on the street, we'll definitely stay again.
