A delightful place to stay. Great communication from booking to end of stay. The villa was beautiful and clean and cleaned again half way through. Everything we needed (including sharp knives). Local shop, tavernas and restaurant only 5 minutes away. Only slight (& very slight ) negative was not having 2 sets of keys. If staying in slightly separate upstairs room then need others to be awake to access kitchen - teens not to keen on our knocking 🤣. Otherwise a well recommended beautiful villa. Thank you 🙏

The house is truly something special. The interior and design of the house is super tasteful and combines traditional Crete with modern elements. Everything in the house was spotless and brand-new. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and the courtyard was very cosy. We can only recommend this gem of house at Crete. The location is a little remote but perfect to relax and enjoy Crete off the beaten paths. We hope we will come back. Also the village where the house is located is so picturesque. Amazing local tavern with great authentic food are in walking distance.

Manolis’ place was a true gem! The home is welcoming and spacious, with amazing views of Mount Ida and the surrounding villages and landscapes— complete with the sounds of sheep bells in the distance. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool, overlooking the mountains, and walking the many pathways in and around the village. You can feel the property’s history as a longtime family home and appreciate its authenticity. This area enables you to see the real part of Crete. We were lucky enough to have Mrs Rumy’s cooking on several occasions— what a treat! She was welcoming and accommodating, and her food reminded me of my Yia Yia’s meals. Manolis was responsive and kind, providing amazing recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and day trips, and even meeting us for coffee in the village. We will be back!
