Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Okrug Gornji

We had a wonderful stay at Branka’s place. The apartment was beautifully decorated, spotless, and felt so welcoming. The garden was a lovely spot to relax in the evenings, and everything was exactly as described. The location couldn’t have been better — tucked away just enough from the main streets to be peaceful, but only a few minutes’ walk to the centre, restaurants, and the waterfront. Check-in was really easy and flexible, and Branka was kind, responsive, and so accommodating. We’re very grateful for her help and would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Split!

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars, I would! Ana’s villa was the perfect stay for our group of 9. The space is large, spotless, and the backyard is stunning. We loved relaxing by the pool and feeding the cute turtles with fruit and veggies. Ana was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants, and even booking one for us. She also arranged a fantastic driver for airport transfers. On our last night, Ana and her husband, Mate, prepared a traditional Croatian meal for us, accommodating all dietary needs. They even brought a birthday cake for one of our group—such a thoughtful touch! We were truly blown away by their hospitality. We can’t say enough good things about Ana, Mate, and the villa. We had the most wonderful holiday at this villa. Mario and Daria were incredibly helpful and responsive to messages, and Daria’s mother and father who live close by went above and beyond to be hospitable too. It’s not often that you visit a place that you know whole heartedly you will return to one day- and this place was exactly that! Our daughter loved examining all the local insects and she absolutely adored the trampoline- a great bonus. I don’t think any review can do justice to how beautiful this home is. I’m so sad we weren’t able to stay longer!

Dijana’s place was an oasis within walking distance to anything you could ever want in old town split! We loved our time both in the town and on her adorable patio.

The best stay I've ever been, beautiful views, private no disturbing neighbors or vice versa, lovely pool pool table, the house almost too good because you didn't want to leave so nice. Furthermore, not indicated in the description but great friendly donkey who loves apples and wants to be petted wonderfully. We became completely friends with Mago (the donkey) and every time we left the house he came to say hello. Only minus point is the late 300 meters is the dirt road but that doesn't matter at all after you come back to such a beautiful place. I'll be back next year!!

Wonderful stay right by the sea! We really enjoyed our stay in this house! We received a very warm welcome on arrival. We immediately felt welcome. Dado, the father of the family, greeted us with a culinary surprise and let us taste his incredibly good olive oil. The location is truly unique: right by the water, with a wonderful view from the balcony and from the house's separated terrace on the other side of the street. We always had breakfast and dinner there. A few steps lead directly down to the rocky jetty, from where you can swim in the crystal-clear sea. The bay of Stomorska is just a five-minute walk away. The village is really pretty, had a small well-stocked supermarket (with fresh bread/rolls) open in mid-April and a nice little cafe/bar. We really enjoyed our stay as a family, it was a great vacation for us in a very special location and with a very nice landlord. We can only warmly recommend the stay!

High feel-good factor, from the first minute you can quickly get down from the stress of everyday life. The pool is great and bigger than expected. The house is on a mountain, there are few neighbors nearby, yet you have your privacy and it's incredibly quiet! The sleeping areas can only be reached via an external staircase, are newly furnished, each room has its own modern bathroom. The place itself is small, but it has everything you need. The beaches are within walking distance. The mountain is easy to cope with (even with a stroller), if you don't do anything anyway and hardly move, it was a good change ;) The bay is beautiful and the beaches very quiet (end of August), just right if you want to enjoy the nature and tranquility. There are restaurants and the supermarket, a fruit stand, bakery. The ice cream shop directly on the beach recommended. Clear recommendation from us!!! Great communication with the owner, keep it up!

Neat and nice apartment with an excellent location and view. Restaurants and markets nearby. Many walking paths, for example to the old town and to the beautiful beach of Okrug or towards Slatine. Bus station and airport nearby. Marina and her mother were very helpful and friendly. We really can recommend this place!

Very warm welcome from Brigitta and Antun. We were spoiled with coffee and muffins in the beautiful shady courtyard, which we were also allowed to use for breakfast. Uncomplicated contact, Brigitta speaks German. Beautiful cool apartment, sparkling clean bathroom. Within walking distance of the old town of Trogir and yet in a quiet location. Simple bathing facilities nearby, if you want to go swimming quickly. Very nice beaches can be reached in a few minutes by car. We had a great stay. Thank you.

Jelena is an excellent host. The accommodation was perfect for myself and my two daughters in their twenties. So peaceful with so many beautiful and walkable beaches and restaurants. Had a fab time ❤️

Fantastic accommodation, would highly recommend to stay here! Iris was flexible with check-in, there were some suggestions with local restaurants which were quite helpful. We loved our stay here.

Highly recommend this apartment. Jolanda was quick to get back to us and no problem checking in at 10pm. Apartment was well equipped with 2 comfortable bedrooms and a kitchen with everything including some welcome treats. The hot tub was amazing and very welcome after busy days out. A 10min walk to the old town and bus station with a supermarket around the corner. The shower runs on a tank so as long as no one spends too long there is enough hot water for 4 people. Jolanda also really kindly looked after our bags on our last day as our flight was late. Would definitely stay here again

Dean’s the absolute best host. He goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay in Split! I can’t recommend his place enough!

Kathrin was an absolutely exceptional host. We had had to change our booking twice for personal reasons and it really was worth going for the ‘third time lucky’! Kathrin arranged for us to be collected by local taxi-driver, Boris, who we instantly warmed to (our children thought of him almost as their Croatian Grandad after four trips in his car on our short break!) and this made our arrival in Croatia to our accommodation easy and smooth. The apartment was beautiful, had everything you could want/need and the pool was perfect for us to have tons of fun in, as a family of 5 with toddlers and a teen. The local area is stunning and the restaurant where we had our final meal, Konoba Intrada that Kathrin had recommended, did not disappoint. Great food, great local wine and great service. We will definitely be staying at Kathrin’s place again and could not recommend the visiting the apartment and Croatia enough. Thank you so much, Kathrin, for such a special trip!

Without any hesitation we will be returning to stay with Mirta! Very responsive, available 24/7 and extremely happy to help! Father was able to taxi us in 8 seater when needed for ease, but we were also 2 mins walk from the main bus route to split, airport and Trogir (only places we visited) The place is the most well equipped Airbnb I have ever stayed in! If you needed a utensil or spices, the kitchen had them! The pool and hot tub were pristine, and we were able to use the pool hoover/Roomba easily so no need to swim in dirty pool or ask host to come and clean (it’s under trees so would have been full after a week!) The fishing village at the end of our road was stunning although we didn’t eat there. Supermarket was 1 minute walk from house, there was a Lidl just 5 mins by bus if you wanted larger store. Bikes were an added bonus that made visiting the town even quicker. Overall we couldn’t have wanted more Thank you Mirta and family!

There were three of us in the villa with our daughter. The villa is very well equipped (enough towels etc.) and is very clean. The location is fantastic and the villa has great sea views and there is an easy access to the sea. At night you could also hear the sea. Our daughter enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi very much. The surroundings are very quiet and you can just relax. We lacked nothing and everything was great and perfect. The communication with Ivana was great. We would definitely gladly come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaja’s place. The villa was spacious and had amazing views. There were many different places to relax and enjoy the home. The kitchen had plenty of everything to make preparing meals and drinks super easy. If you turn left out of the property and walk along the shore there is a great bar called Music. If you turn right, a small supermarket is up the hill. Trogir old town is maybe a 30 minute walk. Ubers are easy to get. Kaja was an excellent host and was super easy to communicate with. She definitely went the extra mile to make our stay great.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Family. For our group it was very nice to have a separate living space so we could also have some time to ourselves. Some of our group loved to be able to walk down to the grocery store and beach each day, but it was also nice to be able to spend time at the property. The view was unbeatable. Megy was very helpful in helping us arrange taxis. My favourite was the large outdoor table on the terrace so we could all dine together!

The villa is a wonderful retreat to escape daily business. The breathtaking view and the pool are the heart of the modern and clean house. Bernard is friendly, nice, and very helpful in case of special requests. Thanks a lot. The beds are comfy, a/c in every room helps to cool down. The villa is pretty close to the airport, nonetheless, in the house, you almost don’t hear any plane. Additionally, this place is the perfect home base to start exploring the area. Split and Trogir are close by and you can rent boats and have them come to the local harbour for a pick-up. (Kastela Boat Tours, ask for Gordan, ;-). Bernard, thank you for being such an excellent host. We enjoyed our time.

The family and the kids really enjoyed the stay at the property and created some fond memories. Close walk to the beach and excellent amenities such as pool, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of parking space etc. Rino was a great host responsive, nice and helpful. Trogir is a charming town that is only a ten minute drive from the property. Will definitely repeat my stay on future trips to Croatia.

Five stars from the moment I reached out to the host. I booked this villa for my friends hen do and Zvonimir was super helpful right from the start, he booked our airport transfers, and organised food as we landed late, helped with trips etc. We wanted a third bed in one room so he got us an extra bed, nothing was a problem. So responsive which is great. The villa itself is stunning. It is exactly, and I mean exactly like the photos. It was perfect and I’d go back in a heartbeat. It was private with lovely sea views. So so happy I found this gem. And a very reasonable price for what you get, it was amazing. Thank you so much for our lovely stay!

The house was lovely, comfortable etc and Trogir was an amazingly beautiful place with fantastic restaurants ….. a truly picturesque spot … lots of worthwhile and reasonably priced excursions from Gray Line and using uber as opposed to taxis was the best mode of transport 😊
