Beach house holiday rentals in Oceanside

Great place to stay-close to everything. Enjoyed the beach and entertained our Marine boys from Pendleton! Hope to stay again!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend at Ricardo's place. The location is fantastic, just close enough to the beach without being in the fray of beach traffic. The private fenced in yard with the hot tub was also very nice! Kitchen was awesome and well stocked. Also, the parking was extremely nice to have, fenced in, not on the street. This is a great place, we will keep an eye out for other weekends.

I loved the stay and how close and easy it was to walk to the beach with little ones. Home was close to restaurants, fun and all things needed. My family enjoyed their stay here and was peaceful vacation for all of us. Rachel and Pete (property manager) were extremely responsive during our stay and very helpful. Fairly priced and great stay for anyone to enjoy. Clean home!

We had a wonderful five night staying at Katie' s home. There are so many little touches that you can see the love and care she has taken for you to have a lovely stay. There was nothing we needed that we didn't find....to the point that when we brought so groceries in we purchased spices as we would normally for an air bnb...there was no need a huge selection. We enjoyed the pool and all the amenities. Our family consisted of my husband and myself, so we took one room. Our daughter, son in law and four year old grandson. As well as our other adult daughter. There was more than enough room for all. If you are considering but hesitant on price ...you won't be sorry if you do it. Her entire vibe and little touches make the experience as well. Right down to a turntable and a few great albums. Thanks for a lovely time. PS. take a moment to read her home manual, you will never be sorry, as you are staying in her home.

Vanessa’s place was nothing short of amazing! The location is just unbearable. A walk to the beach/boardwalk, 5 min from Seaworld, 20 min from downtown. Near Mission beach and Pacific beach, surrounded by great restaurants. I could go on and on. It fit my family of 4 plus my mom and stepdad perfectly. We enjoyed the pool during the day and hot tub at night. The house has everything you could possibly want or need. We would absolutely stay there again and plan to!

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Great experience from booking through to departure. The rental is as good as the pictures with great ocean views and stunning sunsets. The house was very clean and tidy, has all the amenities you need (including an entertainment system) whilst respecting the open plan, minimalistic feel. Drift Vacation Homes are very easy to work with. Communication was excellent, they offer clear instructions and are very responsive. We were afforded a late checkout ($50), this made our last day more enjoyable before heading to the airport. The overall price is in keeping with other rentals in this area, in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for. We would, without hesitation, book a rental through Drift Vacation Homes in the future.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

Had a wonderful stay! Inside was amazing and enough room for 10 teenagers! We arrived a couple hours early and they allowed us to check in early which was a plus! Highly recommend staying here.

Our group of 6 had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The decor was stylish and welcoming, and my friends and I were just in awe the moment we walked in. We loved spending time in the backyard, bbq-ing during the day and making smores to end the night! Our host was incredibly responsive and flexible, and even accommodated our request for a late checkout. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!

Perfect home for a family of 5 for a SoCal vacation! Home has everything you need and was so very relaxing whether we were hanging inside or outside. Front has a beautiful porch to sit and enjoy rocking chairs with our morning coffee and in the evening, an outdoor big couch for all of us to sit around the firepit for smores and cocktails. Quick walk to the beach and short easy walks to Carlsbad Village to eat, shop, etc. Mimi & Hank referrals to restuarants were spot on! Finally, easy ride to San Diego for zoo, and some delicious Mexican food. Thank you Mimi & Hank for making our annual family vacation absolutely perfect!

This is a great House. Location is perfect from restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and the beach. Home was very clean. Beds were very comfortable, Had all the amenities that you needed. We will definitely be staying here again.

10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. First, Jaren is awesome. He checks in throughout the process. As a former AirBnB owner, he gets what it takes to be successful and make you feel at home. The place is awesome. It is as described and as people have reviewed. The neighborhood is filled with amazing eateries. The home is in outstanding condition. You have everything you need. Only note is the walking distance beach is probably for surfing only - really can’t sit there. But the Oceanside beach is a 20 min walk or a five minute drive. Sunset though from that close beach is awesome. Waves crashing in and sunset makes for amazing photos. If you like to board, you are only minutes from doing it. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this kid-friendly Airbnb! The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and fun trip with little ones — beach toys, a stroller, and even outdoor mini golf! It made our park visits and beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly matched our taste — we honestly joked that we wished we could live there! Every detail added to the comfort and charm of our stay. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating of our needs, and the location was ideal — close to all the San Diego attractions we had planned to visit. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend for families visiting San Diego.

Very well kept house that was super relaxing to stay in. Host was a great communicator and addressed any questions we had in a timely fashion. AC works great, jacuzzi was clean and the perfect temperature, backyard was clean with lots of comfortable seating. The thing that stood out for this tired parent of two toddlers was the modern bathroom with amazing water pressure from the showerhead haha. Highly recommend staying at Christie's place!
