Holiday rentals with a patio in Oak Island

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week at Wendy & Jeff's Seascape. The place is EXACTLY like the photos, the view from the balcony is a dream!! Waking up to the ocean sounds every morning is something we will never forget. The apartment is very well-stocked with all the items you need to enjoy the beach, clean up afterward (lots of hot water and good shower pressure!) and cook a delicious meal (plenty of kitchen gadgets). Very easy to walk around the neighborhood, up to the pier for quick eats, or less than a mile to the little mini-mart. Parking is easy. Area is safe. The pool area across the street was clean and fun too! The hosts gave excellent, clear instructions for arrival/departure and even checked in on us via the app during our stay. Anne’s oceanfront condo was a little piece of heaven. Beautiful views of the ocean from the living room and bedroom decks. The house was spotless upon arrival, and Anne actually reached out and offered it earlier than the 3 PM check in time. It was comfortable, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a beach getaway. The location could not have been better. It sits on the south end of the beach where it was quiet and peaceful, yet a good beach walk away from the pier and inlet. The pool was a nice plus as well! Anne provided a closet full of beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as beach towels for us to use. This will be our go-to condo for our ocean isle visits!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Christina's Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was perfect, offering easy access to local bars restaurants and beach. Christina was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing us with great recommendations and ensuring our stay was comfortable. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches. Was in Wilmington for a 5 day work trip. Great place to break up the monotony of staying in a hotel every week. The location is perfect and the vibes of the unit and building are immaculate. Would 100% book again if I find myself in Wilmington for work or personal travel!

This place was perfect for my stay! The location was great & had easy access to the beach & the local shops!

We rented Steve's place to attend our granddaughters graduation.The location was very convenient with plenty to do within walking distance. Plenty of street parking but also a private spot in the back of the house. We didn't do any cooking but the apartment was well equipped if you wanted to cook small meals. There are 2 air conditioners which made the apartment very comfortable. Plenty of hot water with great pressure for 2 people. My only suggestion is to add a book with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. I'm very familiar with Wilmington but for newcomers, there's a lot to see and do that only locals can recommend. Great breweries, restaurants...even the Harris Teeter has a wine bar with music! Buy a bottle of wine, cheese, italian meats and crackers and enjoy the relaxing porch at sunset!

A Perfect Stay in Carolina Beach! This was hands down one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Truly spotless from top to bottom. The attention to detail in cleanliness and comfort really made this Airbnb stand out. The location was just as impressive: the beach was just the right distance away…an easy walk, but far enough that it stayed peaceful and quiet. They even provided a beach chair and umbrella, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our beach days super relaxing. Plus, while the Airbnb isn’t smack in the middle of the tourist hustle, it’s just a few minutes from all the restaurants, shops, and attractions. That balance made it easy to enjoy everything without dealing with constant crowds. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and perfectly located place in Carolina Beach, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back if in the area!

Cute little house with beautiful hardwood floors. Quiet street. Nice walk to the beach. Loved having the beach chairs to be able to use. Zack was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Marguerite's place is on a quiet street very accessible to both beach and Yacht Dr., on the waterway, which is our favorite beach cycling choice. The water was very warm for June 1...I stayed in all day one day. She made everything easy and perfect for us. Wonderful front porch! Beautifully landscaped! Thanks Marguerite!

We had a great stay here at Alison’s beach house! There was a great spacious backyard for our pup and was only about a 15 minute walk to the beach, yet still in a quiet area. We would definitely recommend!

This was the second time we stayed at Amanda's place, was another fantastic stay. Clean home in perfect Oak Island location. Can't wait to stay again!

Absolutely loved the home and will definitely be booking it again! Home is spacious and beautiful! The whole family loved the swings, large jenga set and corn hole boards, especially when it came up an afternoon rain shower and we were still able to spend time outside together! I definitely recommend this rental!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was in a great location, beautiful view and quiet area. Everything was super clean, furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked! Blaire was responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay again!

Lisa & Ryan were wonderful hosts. Their house is beautiful, bright and spacious. The location is just a few blocks from the beach access which was really convenient. We wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all of the provided amenities and recommendations. We would definitely book again when travelling to Oak Island.

Overall, a great stay! Plenty of space for 5 people, the kitchen was easy to cook in, and the place was close to the beach. Everything from check-in to check-out felt seamless.

My husband and I came down for a quick couple days get away, and it was a perfect place to stay! Convenient to everything, steps from the beach, and very private and quiet. We enjoyed taking a dip in the pool after spending a couple hours on the beach! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The beautiful balcony, space just as expected, responsive host, and all the essentials already there made our first family of 3 vacation with our little boy very enjoyable! We loved ordering dinner and eating on the patio to watch the sunset. The pool is clean and perfect after a day at the beach!

This is a great condo in Carolina Beach! Great beach access, beautiful view of the ocean and a really nice pool. Nice touches in the condo to make it feel like home and a comfortable bed.

A beautifully decorated condo that’s more spacious than the pictures and a quiet spot with ocean views . We enjoyed sitting on the patio for afternoon cocktails listening to the waves this week. Chad is an excellent host and we appreciated ALL the extra thoughtful touches and the local suggestions. Perfect for a couple looking to get away to relax. We would stay here again!

Beautiful view of ICW and ocean from your own personal deck! The deck furniture got an upgrade and are two Adirondack high chairs (comfy!) but no table. Only a mile away from the downtown area of Carolina beach, perfect if you love a little bike ride to get to breakfast or dinner. About 20-30 min to downtown Wilmington. Very short walk to the beach, easy to pop back for lunch or the bathroom. Host gave excellent recommendations for local events and restaurants. Provided ample soaps, towels, and detergent. AC worked great and they had an extra fan for the bedroom with darkening blinds. Recommendations for other guests: If you plan to cook know that the kitchen has VERY BASIC kitchen tools/supplies. Beach chairs were Tommy bahama (woo!) but umbrella was broken and other guests haven’t taken good care of other supplies. Bed has a memory foam topper and I’d suggest bringing your own pillow, they have super thick or super thin.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne's place! From start to finish, we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The condo was cute, clean and roomy enough for our group. We'll be back:)

My husband and I loved our trip to Shelley’s place and visiting the island! 🩷It was such a nice, quiet place to stay, you can see the ocean out of the back door, and condo is within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants and ice cream shops. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Great location and nice porch. We loved being able to walk to the beach! Just 3 blocks away! Park the car and just hit the sand. We also enjoyed the town’s free fireworks on Thursday. This home gave us a nice space to relax for a great price. Note: that the bunkbeds are connected to one of the bedrooms and there is only the 1 bathroom. All worked for our small family and we had a nice vacation! Book this one! You will enjoy a peaceful stay at a fantastic beach!
