Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Oak Island

Beautiful spot! Close to everything. Has everything you need. The screened in porch with the Janga game was a huge hit!! Loved the beach decor. We love the Oak. Wouldn't be anywhere else. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

We love staying at Sabine and Mariah's---everything is so easy to find and the kitchen has so much to offer, my 2 corgis feel right at home and they love the back yard, can't wait for next year.

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. It is not over exaggerated to say Paulas place was the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in over the years. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished (as if intior designed) and very comfortable to stay in. But our biggest compliment was that the house contains absolutely everything you could need. A real home from home. The kitchen was very well equipt with gorgeous glassware and even a boiling tap, and there were even towels and a beach umbrella for our beach day in the pantry! to top it off it's a 10 minute walk to downtown and 25 minutes drive to the beach!

This place was amazing, I would book here again and again. This will be our go to spot from here on out, my wife and I fell in love with this place. It is cozy, quiet and relaxing, the atmosphere was perfect. The host provides everything from beach towels to chairs and more. The location is perfect!!!! The foodlion is right around the corner with the beach less than 10 mins away. This place brought back great memories from when my parents had a place here in Holdens Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Tranquil Haven. We had more room than we had expected. Everything was very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed using the golf cart to get around the island. Well stocked kitchen. We loved having the availability of the beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards. This meant less for us to pack. Loved mornings on the front porch in the lounge chairs. There is plenty of seating throughout and there is a great hangout spot downstairs. My whole family loved the hammock, and my daughter got a lot of use out of the swings. My kids loved staying a little bit farther out of town because it meant longer golf cart rides on the backroads. There is plenty of parking as well.

Me and my family stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it! Brisk walk to the beach made everything so much easier. Great location with stores very close by. Definitely recommend!

This was my 1st time going to the beach in over 10 years and my toddlers 1st trip ever. We had such a great time and will definitely stay at Angela's place again. It was comfortable and within walking distance to shopping and food. It's a 5 min walk to the beach. Everything was just as advertised. Angela answered any messages very quickly and was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Next time we will stay longer, it was over way too quick!!

Melissa has been fabulous! The space is perfect for a Wilmington stay. It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the beach! I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area.

Our stay was just the getaway we needed! Lary’s place was extremely clean and comfortable! the outdoor space and landscaping were spectacular, it felt like being at a resort. the neighborhood was quite and relaxing, however not walkable to town as there are not many side walks. definitely rent a bike or a golf cart!

We interacted with Laurie, and she was just as AMAZING as the place. She was very helpful and gracious before and during our stay. The condo was perfect for what we and another couple needed for the long weekend visit to the area. Hopefully this place will be available when we make trips to the area in the future .

From the cozy, well-appointed decor to the thoughtful touches everything was clearly chosen with care and intention. You can tell the host genuinely wants guests to have the best possible experience. This Airbnb is the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and convenience. We’re already planning our next visit.

This Airbnb has so much charm and character! The kitchen was stocked with all the spices and condiments we needed, especially for cooking seafood. There are so many little activities included. For example; a sound system, card games, and outdoor equipment (chairs, skim board, shovel). Sam is a wonderful host, very attentive. One evening, a small situation came up and he responded to our message immediately. In fact, he showed up to help at 11 pm! We truly enjoyed our stay. Wrightsville is such a special place. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in town!

We had such a lovely time staying at this property in Carolina Beach! The home was beautiful, clean, and bigger than expected. It was so peaceful waking up and having coffee overlooking the ocean! We loved the private boardwalk to the beach - which was such a short distance and perfect with two littles (especially when we forgot something or it was naptime). The elevator was a hug plus with strollers. This is the type of rental we’d come back to year after year! Thank you!

My family and my aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents stayed at Salubrious View Too a handful of times when I was a kid. We’ve all had wonderful memories of this house, view, and sunset beach. This year, my parents and aunt and uncle are the grandparents, we are the parents, and the cousins’ children are the grandchildren. Amazing to be able to carry on the tradition to another generation. So thankful for our time at Salubrious View Too and cannot wait to return again.

The house and amenities are top notch and the host was quick to respond to questions. Very nice house. The beach was not busy and the experience was fairly private without any noise or neighbor issues. I'd absolutely book here again.
