Temaeva was always ready to help and even took me around in her car to show me Taiohae. The bungalow is clean and well located, perfect as a basis to explore Nuku Hiva. I recommend!

Debora is adorable, she knows the marquises perfectly, and will share her passions and cultural, historical, etc. knowledge with you. Excellent cook, she offered fresh and healthy dishes, evening meals on request and availability of debora; Breakfast, with fresh fruit, jam and honey is included in the price of the room. Located in a very quiet family neighborhood. She can also advise you on activities to do and put you in touch with guides.

Sandra and Bernard are adorable and are very attentive to their guests. Originally from metropolitan France, they sailed for years to settle on the island of Nuku Hiva where they were adopted as Marquesans, they know everyone on the island and are known and appreciated by all the inhabitants... they know the history and culture of the Marquesas as Marquesan guides and offer it during a day on the 3 exceptional valleys... a must do! Very good value for money, on their site Sandra and Bernard offer a comfort package where everything is included... (including the rental car and the jacuzzi) It's really worth it. Too bad Airbnb doesn't offer it, we didn't take it and didn't see it on Airbnb. We strongly recommend!

This accommodation is perfect for staying in Nuku Hiva. It is close to everything and allows walking around the village. Everything is very clean and well maintained and the hosts are adorable. They are not necessarily on site all the time but we can solicit them without any worries. I will return without hesitating!
