Holiday rentals with a patio in Northumberland

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place! We are often so disappointed with the lack of effort put into places we've stayed, and it was such a dream to find Sara's place totally exceeded expectations! It was cosy, clean, had lovely decoration, even homemade cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed and the patio area in the garden was gorgeous. For once it actually felt worth the money, we could have stayed a week! It felt like sara really cared about putting a personal touch into the room. Thankyou 🥰

We greatly enjoyed our stay in June's apartment. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the town and in particular Jedburgh Abbey. We took the circular walk from the Alltrails App. Beautiful scenery and views.

Awesome stay at Suzanne’s, neat place with a great location in a beautiful town. The place combines classic charm and modern comfort. Hosts very responsive.

This rental is small but perfectly formed. We had everything we needed for our short break. The apt is very central and we found it very handy for everything. There is a small outside area which is a lovely sun trap to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.

Great place to stay for a few days while working in Cramlington. The welcome goodies on arrival were a very nice surprise.

Mike and Lorna went above and beyond the call of duty when my partner took ill and ended up in intensive care. Nothing was a problem for them to help out and it turned a great AirBnB experience into an exceptional one. Cannot recommend enough.

The barn was beautiful and full of little touches. Pam was an excellent host and was very friendly. She even baked us shortbread whilst we were there! We loved the peace and quiet yet we could get to Alnwick within 10 minutes. A fantastic break. Pam has put together a folder with recommendations for food and drink and this was especially useful. Would love to stay again.

We stayed at the Old Post Office and had a great time. The property is full of character and was perfect for our family of two young boys. We particularly enjoyed the log fire, the chest of family games, and the selection of thoughtful touches. Everything to make our stay easy and relaxing was in place. The village is small, peaceful and perfectly located to go into Seahouses and Bambrough. We would stay here again and recommend highly. Perfect property; perfect host.

Wow not enough words to describe this place, it was beautiful, ultra clean and just wow!! Everything you needed for your stay here, fantastic hamper on arrival together with milk, coffee, sugar and tea to make yourself a drink when you arrived which was great. We had such a lovely warm welcome from Hamish who made himself right at home and obviously knew there was a jar of biscuits just for him when he called by, he is adorable and so friendly, I could have easily packed him up and brought him home! The house, surroundings and everything was so perfect and we will definitely return and would highly recommend it to everyone as the best place to stay. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful house and we look forward to returning.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

Would highly recommend this place. it's a short walk to the beautiful beach. The house itself was absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming with lots of extras such as picnic stuff. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to write in the visitors book before we left but I cannot fault the house and the patio area back onto a tranquil nature reserve with lots of wildlife, even seen a dear run through it. We would definitely go back.

I had the most amazing time on this holiday. Airbnb says a home away from home and this is the first time I've felt that to be true. Place was clean and minimal but with enough touches to give it character and make it feel cosy creating that sense of home. As a solo female traveller the place felt safe and secure and was quiet but being in the centre of Alnwick it didn't at all feel isolated. I did a long weekend away here with my dog and have already decided that is not enough we will be returning to this exact Airbnb in 2026! Thanks Ruth for an amazing place to stay and for being communicative friendly hosts!! ☺️☺️☺️

Had a great stay at Andrews place everything was spot very clean and tidy peaceful quiet and nice area good parking all in all would definitely recommend

Location, Location, Location. Sitting right next to the sea overlooking the village. This is one of those breaks where you don't really need anything else to do, you can just stay put for a few days and enjoy. The property is immaculate. We stayed Easter weekend, kite festival on the beach in the village was a treat. Nice local cafe's and take aways and well stocked small local supermarket an easy walk away. Only moved the car to use the EV charger in the free car park just along the road. A pod of Harbour Porpoises swam right past us on the last day. Perfect!

Lovely town, beautiful walks on the doorstep, plenty of food options, Mary gave great instructions and recommendations and the apartment was just as it is in the photographs, everything worked and well stocked kitchen. Appreciated the biscuits, milk and tea and coffee after a long drive. Will rebook to visit with my daughter in the future. Thank you Mary.

Rod was a fantastic host, clear instructions and very friendly. The apartment was very clean and really spacious. The beds are super comfy and we all slept well. This is a jewel in Berwick Upon Tweed! We loved it! Location is great, close to restaurants and cafes, a nice stroll to the beach. Margaret and Derek are on every detail, we appreciate these small treats/gifts that made our stay a wonderful experience. We had a rainy afternoon and there were plenty of table games to entertain ourselves in the flat. We decided at the last minute to go to Holy Island and the hosts gave us suggestions on how to get there (without a car) and what to do there. I highly recommend this place that will make your trip to Berwick a lovely adventure! Thanks Margaret & Derek

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

Spotless, uncluttered and perfect for our overnight stop.

The Waiting Rooms was a delightful place to stay- spacious, comfortable, homely and well appointed. Its location was perfect for exploring Northumberland with shops, restaurants and parks close by. Richard was a wonderful host, welcoming us on arrival and providing us with great suggestions. When there was a minor issue, he came over to help immediately and nothing was any trouble. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Elaine’s apartment was ultra modern, very clean and well presented. The bathroom is fabulous beautiful freestanding bath and fantastic power shower. We had a welcome pack which was absolutely lovely, made up of local products. It’s well placed for exploring the local area’s. Holy Island / Bamburgh castle/ Seahouses are all within an hour.

Great cottage in a lovely location. Close to lovely coastal walks, river and castles. There are some wonderful pubs and restaurants close at hand including The Masons arms, The Hermitage and Sun Inn. Bertrams bistro and cafe is outstanding. Owners very responsive to questions.
