Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Northumberland

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Paddock. It’s in a very central position to explore beautiful Northumbria while being in a quiet and peaceful location in the countryside. Our host Maureen was very friendly and helpful. The Paddock was clean, decorated beautifully and suited us very well. There were a few kitchen items which Maureen provided when we asked for them. We would highly recommend the Paddock as a place to stay. Jim and Anne

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Charles and Jane were excellent hosts. The apartment is in the basement of the house, but was not a problem to access down to, even for our dogs. The croissants and home made jam were a lovely touch. All in all a lovely stay, although brief. We certainly would stay again if in the area.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Communication with Helen was great from start to finish, very attentive and helpful. The property was the perfect stay for our engineers, so much so that we booked them in to the same property the following week. Very happy, would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent apartment, furnished with everything you need including full kitchen and equipment, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, steam iron, plenty of pillows, etc. Every aspect was immaculate and spotless. Nice temperature inside even when it was hot outside. very quiet and easy to sleep. very comfy bed and large comfy sofa. supermarket very nearby and easy access to walking and cycling paths down by the river. The bus stop is right outside the property, meaning you can catch the bus from right outside Newcastle station to get here (the number 22 was only £2.50!). host is very responsive and leaves clear instructions for getting into the apartment.

We had a great time in and around Alnwick. Tom and Emma’s place was perfect for our requirements. It was super clean and fresh with great amenities. Communication was top notch. Easy walk to Alnwick Gardens and Castle. Top tip, if you want to eat at The Jolly Fisherman at Craster, book well ahead!

We had a great time (2 couples) and we would really have liked to have stayed longer but work gets in the way! Kath & Ken were responsive and always helpful but not obtrusive. Maybe a little expensive but you pay for what you get.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay for the weekend. The house was immaculate, warm and very well presented in a lovely little village that is only a short distance from Holy island, Bamburugh and Alnwick making it an ideal location to explore from. My son loved the steam train from Heatherslaw to Etal which is only a few miles away too. We were all very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying here and will likely return in the future as there is so much to do and we know how good the accommodation is. Thankyou!

Really comfortable cottage in a great location for exploring the best of north east Northumberland. Easy access to Bamburgh, Seahouses for the ferry to the Farne Islands, fabulous beach walks at Ross Sands (great recommendation, Amanda), not forgetting Alnwick castle and Holy Island. The cottage was a nice, quiet place to relax at the end of the day, especially the comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful few days staying at Church View. Lovely touches like the welcome basket for both humans and our dogs! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and enjoyed visiting Northumberland

Beautiful and spacious house and garden perfect for our weekend away. Lots of special touches and amenities, including a great coffee machine! Lorna and Dave are very helpful and responsive hosts. Highly recommend staying here!

I stayed here with my parents and kids. the house is beautiful, beds are comfortable and ample seating. Really lovely house and very friendly and helpful host we would most definitely return.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.
