Family-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Cyprus

We spent 2,5 weeks in the Maya’s apartment. It’s lovely home-away from home place. Excellent location close to Malama beach and Kapparis restaurants. Apartment is on the second floor with direct view from balcony on community pool. There is elevator for 4 persons. Kitchen has everything you need for long stay and it’s new. Living room is connected to the kitchen and has exit to the balcony. There is table and 4 chairs there snd we had nice dinners “under the stars”. Every room is equipped with new AC, all works. This place is excellent for families with kids, our little one had lots of fun there - pool any time or beach close by. Malama beach is closest and best for kids among all near by. It’s long walk shallow with well warmed crystal clear water. Take your snorkeling set and you can enjoy some fish watching. Building has free parking but you can manage there even without car. “Metro” is very close by walk. The only thing are “blackout” curtains - they are not that lightproof.

Der Aufenthalt war gut und die Gastgeber sind immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

Ev oldukça rahat ve temizdi, hiçbir sorunla karşılaşmadık, mutfak araç gereçleri temiz ve oldukça yeterliydi. Ev sahibi de oldukça ilgiliydi, her sorumuza hızlıca cevap verdi. İçiniz rahat bir şekilde konaklayabilirsiniz.

Det bästa air-bnb boendet hittills ( av många). Som barnfamilj kände vi oss väldigt hemma. Fanns allting vi behövde ( potta, spjälsäng, matstol, leksaker och balanscykel). Äldsta (3 åringen) cyklade på balanscykeln varje dag till stranden. Startpaketet med mat var väldigt bra, då vi var väldigt slitna efter att ha rest i 9 timmar med småbarn. Området är lugnt och autentiskt. Restauranger och matbutiker finns inom gångavstånd. Stranden, Malama beach, var väldigt rent och barnvänlig. Pratar redan om att komma tillbaka och bo här igen! 💛

Kaum zu glauben aber die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Man hat einen atemberaubenden Ausblick über die ganze Skyline. Die Villa ist ein perfekter Spot für den Sonnenaufgang. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber gewesen. Lediglich das Sofa ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hat einen etwas eigenartigen Geruch. Ein funktionstüchtiger Grill wäre auch schön gewesen. Dennoch empfehlen wir die Unterkunft zu 100% weiter und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir hatten erst Angst, dass die Villa nicht so schön wie auf den Bildern ist. Aber wir wurden nicht enttäuscht sie ist wunderschön es gibt einen super Service alle drei Tage circa kamen Putzkräfte die Handtücher ausgetauscht haben geputzt haben und die Betten gerichtet haben. Das einzige Manko war, dass manchmal das Wasser in der Dusche etwas gebraucht hat, um warm zu werden.

Enjoyed a week staying at Jarmilas apartment. It’s a lovely resort with lots of free activities if you want to keep busy. Always possible to get a sun lounger at the beach or pool. Lovely spa with plenty of treatments available and a fair price. Great restaurant although we felt it was a little expensive when comparing it to other meals we had elsewhere over the week. Definitely rent a car if you like to get out of the resort and explore North Cyprus as there are many special places to see. Appreciated the option of a late checkout and fantastic communication from Jarmila. Thank you ☺️

Everything was great. The owner is very responsive and allowed to check in earlier than the specified time. there are many entertainments on the territory - swimming pools, slides, etc., so the children will find something to do with them. The complex is located at some distance from the main cities, so a car will be needed if you want to see the island.

Stelios was very helpful through the booking and check in process and very responsive with any questions. Close to the centre but far enough away to be quiet. Very easy walk into town

So pleased we chose this Airbnb with Demetris . From the beginning he was friendly and we appreciated this giving us confidence with this booking. We loved staying here and using it as a base to explore Protaras and the area. We had a pleasant stay! Communication with the host was easy and clear, which made everything smooth from start to finish. The flat is in a quiet area, ideal for getting a good night’s rest, and it looks exactly like it does in the photos. While it could have been more thoroughly cleaned, the overall comfort and accurate listing made for an enjoyable stay. Thanks again for having us!

My family and I spent the most amazing month at Villa Century House. Vasilis and Athena have a beautiful home that perfectly combines old and new. We felt right at home and Vasilis ensured everything we needed was catered for. The location of the villa is perfect. In a quiet street that is only a short distance away from the local bakery and restaurants and also on the highway to get any part of the island in no time. I cannot thank Vasilis and Athena enough for the amazing time we had in Nisou. Thank you for everything and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had a great sta, the house is clean and well equiped. Martinos was easy to reach and very helpful

We really enjoyed our stay - the apartment was a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Troodos mountains... The apartment is very comfortable with a right-at-home feel, we loved the vintage decorations & the terrace plants & flowers :) Kitchen is very well equipped, enough pots & pans for a family feast! Location is great, quiet & peaceful but lose to local restaurants & supermarket in the town. Nature trails & historical monasteries are within driving distance so it was easy to plan activities. Host communications were friendly & helpful - it was very easy to find the apartment & check in. We would happily return when we next visit Cyprus!

It was our third time we stayed at Charalambos’s place. Charalambos made some improvements/renovation since last time we stayed there. So it was really pleasure to spend several nights at the peaceful lovely place. Looking forward to back again!

Good location, accessible parking, clean and spacious rooms, additional towels & electricity reductions, sun umbrella. Very good and fast communication with host. Only problem was water with shower diverter falling back down - hopefully will be fixed as it was reported.

George was very welcoming and kindly left some fruit and water, which was very helpful especially with our late check-in. Thank you!

Idéalement située, bien équipée, au calme, offrant une vue magnifique sur la mer et la montagne dernière. La maison a beaucoup de charme et l'endroit est parfait pour se ressourcer et profiter de la nature environnante. Le petit village d'Esentepe est également très charmant avec quelques commerces et restaurants à proximité. Merci à Frédéric d'être un super hôte, très réactif et très attentionné. On reviendra avec grand plaisir à la villa Doluca car on s'y sent bien :-)

Die Villa war hervorragend wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Sie war sauber und befindet sich in einer ruhigen Lage. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und schön. Vieles kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen. Am Anfang hatten wir ein kleines Problem mit dem WLAN, welches schnellstmöglich behoben wurde und danach wieder problemlos funktionierte. Am Tag der Ankunft standen einige frische Lebensmittel von Nikos vorbereitet im Kühlschrank, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. Die Kommunikation zwischen Nikos und mir verlief sehr angenehm und es kam schnell eine Antwort zurück. Er hatte uns vor der Reise einige Supermärkte, Restaurants und Orte genannt die in der Nähe sind und gut mit einem Auto, Taxi oder zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Ich würde immer wieder nach Zypern und eine der Unterkünfte von Nikos buchen.

Silvia from the moment we booked the place was a perfect host always available for the few questions we had to ask. The Villa is very clean and modern with all the items in the kitchen lounge and bedroom areas that you would ever need. Pool is cleaned every week and gets the sun all day, parking for one car of the road ( endless on the road ) and easy access to local beaches and restaurants. There are supermarkets a 5 min drive away and buses frequently if you dont have a car. All in all we really enjoyed the Villa and the local area and will be back I am sure. Andrew & Jenny

Our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 children) have just spent a week here and we’re all very sad to leave. El’s place has everything you need for a weeks stay. The house was large enough for us all & the gardens & pool are stunning. We used the outside cooking area (bbq), which was lovely in the evening. We downloaded the Wolt app, which was a lifesaver for last minute grocery delivery or even a takeaway on the nights we didn’t feel like cooking. I would recommend hiring a vehicle. However, within 15-20 minutes you can walk to a couple restaurants, a shop and also the most beautiful beach. We spent 2 days at Konnos Beach, which is absolutely stunning. I would recommend getting there before 10:30. We ate at Kafkaros Tavern (walking distance) a couple of times, which was lovely & friendly. The pool is cold, especially in April, but it didn’t stop the kids swimming most days. All in all, El’s place is super for a family holiday. We hope to visit again in the future. Thank you ☺️

Wir waren zu 5 dort für 10 Tage. Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut, die Lage war gut. Und im Haus war alles da, was beschrieben war. Die Gastgeber haben selbst bei Fragen nach Geldautomaten in der Nähe sofort geantwortet und geholfen. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Auch beim mieten von einem Leihwagen wurde geholfen, sowie beim Flughafentransfer. Wir würden dort auch wieder Urlaub machen.

Très bon séjour dans ce logement, spacieux, bien équipé, fonctionnel. L’emplacement était parfaitement bien situé, avec une belle petite plage au bas de la rue, avec des commerces et restaurants à proximité. Et surtout à l’écart des grands ensembles hôteliers de la côte bétonnée, ce qui correspondait à ce que nous cherchions. Recommandable à 100% !

We loved our stay here! Avraam and Fiorentina were quick in their communication. They were very helpful with everything. The place was very good and met our needs and expectations. The few small issues were sorted out very promtly. It is a great place for a stay outside of the main season (we were there in Jan and Feb) and the whole area was just so quiet! If you want that than this is great (if you want a more busy location then Larnaca is your place to go). During the season it must be busy though... Anyway, recommended!
