Waterfront holiday rentals in North Topsail Beach

Great place! The location was fabulous. The space was nicely decorated and beautifully maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob's place! It was just as advertised, clean and welcoming. The balcony over the river is where we put in the most hours, just watching the changes in the river, the various boats, and people-watching on the river walk. Everything we did was within minutes of the condo...great restaurants and shopping. Bob provided plenty of info and recommendations for eating and sightseeing. We were there on Memorial Day and could easily see the USS North Carolina lit up in red, white and blue. Even though it was cloudy/rainy most of the time, the awning on the balcony kept us dry and comfortable. A couple of time we had questions for Bob and he was immediately responsive and helpful. It was just the relaxing getaway we were hoping for! We would recommend this spot anytime for 2 guests!

Great place to stay! Jarrod and his wife were very friendly and responsive with any questions on the app. They even let us check in early. Accommodating bikes was so thoughtful and fun for us as we biked to coffee places and lunch. We kayaked to palm tree island and that was so much fun! It’s also a great location to walk to the beach as well! The balcony was so peaceful in the morning and at night. 10/10 experience and first time vacationing to Wilmington. Will 100% come back!

We enjoyed our stay here! The beach supplies were amazing, and we had everything we needed for traveling with our toddler. One thing to note is you do have to put the sheets on the beds yourself. That wasn’t clear in the listing, and we waited until we were exhausted to do it later that night which wasn’t very fun. But very minor action in what was a wonderful family vacation with great views!

My husband and I enjoyed spending the weekend here for a wedding! The apartment is beautifully situated over the water with an amazing view. Right near the apartment is a local place to get drinks. The apartment is walking distance to everything, but also far enough where we didn’t hear a lot of noise. Aubrey was very responsive and gave explicit directions. It was helpful to have the parking garage which wasn’t far away at all! We also appreciated the “manual” with recommendations for local favorites including shopping and restaurants! The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Great spot with easy walkability to swansboro restaurants and shops. We had a great time and everything was just a we expected. Will stay again!

What a delightful experience! The house was as advertised and more. Kate provided many thoughtful touches (easy entertainment navigating, extra kitchen and food treats, fully stocked kitchen and cooking aids, games, beach supplies), which were wonderful surprises. She operates a pet friendly house, with pet supplies too. The location is marvelous, and the Surf City beaches are wonderful. She truly is a five star hostess, and this lovely home is perfect for a family/pet holiday.

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

Being on the beach was awesome! We enjoyed sunrises from the hot tub, going right down our stairs to the sand, walks to the pier, evenings on the deck… It was the perfect setting for our little reunion! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Location is also super convenient to food & coffee & seafood market. The only surprises were that our space was attached to another house (neighbors were very quiet, respectful, and friendly) and that we had to make our own beds upon arrival and remove bedding before check out. Overall, Emily’s house made our time with people we love even more fun & easy! She was a communicative, helpful host and we appreciate her sharing her home!

Sea Stilts is a very nice oceanfront, single level, 3-Bedroom beach house in a quiet neighborhood. I think of it as a bungalow. Walk off the back porch down the steps and you are on the beach. We have stayed there twice now, in mid April and now early May. There were not a lot of people on the beach. That may change some during the summer months, but even if all the adjacent houses were fully occupied I don’t think the beach would be crowded. The back porch has 6 composite “LL Bean” type high chairs with cup holders so you can sit out there and enjoy the unobstructed ocean view. When we arrived (easy entry via digital combination lock), the place was clean and neat. We never ran out of hot water (there were 2 of us), and there is a nice stacking washer/dryer so you can do your laundry. We would definitely stay there again!

Susan’s AirB&B was very spacious and looks almost new. It is only a block away from the beach. The neighborhood has a private beach access. If you don’t want the crowds of Myrtle Beach and somewhere newer than the Outer Banks, Topsail is a great fit!!

LunaSea was the perfect place for our small family to visit. Within walking distance to so much (which saved us from having to pay to park when going out). The Zen Garden was private and peaceful including a fountain!! The beach is right out your door and down some steps making visiting the beach so convenient and simple. The provided beach chairs were great to have along with the provided towels and linens, making packing so simple! Driveway parking and easy access to private laundry facilities were so helpful. This rental was exactly as described in the listing. Sandi and Tom were wonderful hosts, available if needed or for suggestions! They take great care of their rental and an extra bonus with them living near are the beautiful maintained flowers etc., and a personalized welcome surprise inside that you often won’t find in rentals. A special touch that really makes you feel at home. LunaSea is a very loved, well maintained and clean rental with wonderful hosts, and cute cats :)

We just got back from a wonderful stay at Betsy's place. The ocean was right outside of our balcony. The condo is beautifully decorated and very clean. The beach gave up wonderful shell and smooth stone treasures. We had a great time and definitely will return here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this peaceful beach condo! The location was perfect—just steps from the sand (water does come up to the beach access steps when high tide however there’s close walkable areas with plenty of sand to lay out in when it is high tide), stunning ocean views and the soothing sound of waves right outside the window. The condo itself was spotless, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. Definitely recommend If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place to recharge by the beach!

This was our 2nd time visiting Topsail Dunes, and Kara and Kim's place did not disappoint. The unit is exactly as pictured, is thoughtfully stocked with most things you need, and is a paradise away from home. There really are beach chairs waiting for you, a beach umbrella and anchor...you don't need to pack all that stuff. There are plenty of dishes, and enough cookware for anything we wanted to whip up. The washer/dryer are a major plus! The view and breeze from this 3rd floor unit are breathtaking. And, you will not ever get tired of the sounds of the waves rolling in. The hosts? Fabulous communication, friendly as can be, really seem to love sharing their place and it shows. I highly recommend this unit and these hosts. Kara and Kim, thank you! We will be back. Also, don't overlook the freedom of scheduling. Some hosts restrict you to Saturday-to-Saturday rentals. We were able to do 8 nights and would do it again! Thanks Kara & Kim!

Perfect family (with children) property. 4 pools (two kiddo pools) right on the beach, great restaurant onsite, and the room was perfectly decorated and accommodating. Arcade game and board games with ample Comfy seating was very nice. We would go back with all the kids without hesitation (and we are picky when it comes to where we stay for what we pay). Thanks for hosting us!

Unit really is right on the beach. The ocean is literally right at the back deck. There are massive sandbags to help with the beach erosion, yet the views were great and the sound of the ocean right off the balcony was amazing. I would return.

Definitely worth every penny you pay to stay here! it was very comfortable and about as oceanfront as you could possibly get. the host has quite literally thought of everything when it comes to amenities in the home too!

Celebrated my 1st Mother’s Day here. The home was cute & clean, perfect for a quick getaway. This was our 1st time visiting Topsail beach & we found that the tide gets pretty high around 4pm so we had to clear the beach early in the day. Highly recommend trying the crab legs at Madison’s, they were delicious! Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

This place was exactly as described. We appreciated the fact that it was right on the beach; we didn't have to go anywhere else to get access to the beach. The balcony was fabulous for watching the sunrise over the ocean each day. It was perfect for us!
