Fantastic property. Beautifully designed and very peaceful. Excellent hosts. Would recommend.

The Herb Garden is incredibly quiet, no road noise and very private. The friendly pub is just one mile away for a drink or food. The accommodation is interesting as it used to be a cafe, so the kitchen is very well equipped with 2 double sinks! Everything spotless except the oven which could do with a scrub. We were very pleased to be supplied with 6 eggs, bread, butter, milk, jam, biscuits as well as tea and instant coffee! No cafetiere. I believe the listing says self check in, but we were met by Vanessa's partner and given keys. Exceptionally quick, smooth and friendly. This is not luxury, but it is good value and would really suit couples with a dog as the large garden is very secure. Thank you for our stay.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was definitely one of our favourites! We did not want to leave and could have stayed happily for a much longer trip. Jen was a very responsive and friendly host who could not do more for us! There were so many thoughtful extras that were very sweet and unexpected. Check in was very simple and I much preferred the keypad door to usual Airbnb check in methods as we didn’t need to worry about keys etc. The barn itself is exquisitely beautiful and full of charm and character. The attention to detail and quality of the decor and furnishings matched perfectly. We used both the main bed and the sofa bed which were both very comfortable. The barn was completely spotless and well organised. The provided breakfast items were really lovely and perfect for a summer morning on the private patio table overlooking the stunning gardens. Thank you so much for your hospitality Jen, you should be very proud of your idyllic retreat.

Beautiful place to stay , very peaceful lots to do if you want to fill your day or just peaceful if you want to sit back and relax from everyday life . Melissa is a very friendly host the extra’s like treats for your dog and lovely home made chocolate brownies absolutely wonderful as well as everyday essentials like milk , bottled water , bathroom essentials like shampoo all included . This being why Melissa is a super host . This was a fantastic find and a great place to stay . Thank you .
