We had three lovely days. Excellent cottage with a great garden. Ideal place to discover the area (already cycling) from there.

Saron was very welcoming , the accommodation was spotless and very large. The accommodation is located in the countryside , in a quiet area. We loved the proximity to horses , pigs , chickens and cats. I highly recommend this listing and host

The beautiful house was very individually decorated, very bright inside and equipped with private furniture. Everything was clean and upon arrival the very likeable house owner Jan directly welcomed us, explained the house and gave us tips for the area - for example where we can find a cheap bike rental. Joffry takes care of the house and was very accessible. We especially enjoyed the harmony of the house and garden. In the garden there were two chickens that laid fresh breakfast eggs. From the house you can look out on a magnificent dune landscape where you can hike or cycle. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by bike - if you prefer a secluded beach section, you can go a few minutes further. We really liked the nearest town Alkmaar with its many historic houses, restaurants, cafes and picturesque canals. We would very much like to rent the beautiful house again from Jan and Joffry. We stayed at Chantal's house with our two-year-old daughter and had a great time. The house is very cozy and furnished with everything you need. In the garden you can relax and play. The planes can be heard, but it didn't bother us. We rented bikes and did many nice tours in the area. The staff at the park were also very friendly and there were great play opportunities for our daughter there. Chantal also provides many ideas for excursions. We highly recommend Chantal's house! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the little cottage. The cottage was really cozy and the garden was beautiful. It is an one hour walk to the beach through a beautiful dune park. We would definetly come back :)

The chalet was exactly what we wanted, we had a wonderful week in the dunes and by the sea. All imaginable weather types came by, from very hot to storm and rain - all equally beautiful. The chalet itself is cute and pleasant, with a great kitchenette and nice beds. It is a campsite, so sanitary facilities are in a shared toilet building, but very close and perfectly clean.

The chalet is perfect for 4 people, stylish and modern and well equipped. The magnificent view of the sea and the very well-kept complex are convincing.

Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

We had a wonderful weekend at the location :) The host Stefanie was really helpful with all our questions and everything was communicated clearly upfront by the owners.

Lovely little house with everything you need. Super clean. Its in an idilyc area surrounded by beautiful Netherlands nature and animals. The host is wery welcoming and helpful. Strongly recommend.

The stay at Carlos' accommodation was great. Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen well equipped. Very quiet location with many possibilities to go for a walk with a dog. Unfortunately nothing really within walking distance, but everything very close by car (beach 10min, nearest restaurant 5min) or if you want to take a little longer walks. Highly recommended.

We were with two families (4 adults and 3 smaller children) in Vreny's and Bart's house. We felt very comfortable and were grateful for many small things such as a crib or a stair gate, which are not self-evident. Kitchen was also superbly equipped. The rooms are rather small, which was very convenient for our room layout. You can hear the train and planes in the distance, but it was never so loud that it bothered us. Our children found watching the train on the way to the playground or supermarket rather exciting (and were probably often louder themselves...). Since we were there in the summer and usually had good weather, we were often on the beach. By car, finding a parking space can be difficult. If you have a bike, you should definitely take it with you and use it. Otherwise, we liked to use the garden and barbecued there. We would gladly come back. We had a wonderful weekend with friends. Matthijs was a very helpful host, always responded very quickly to any questions we had. The property was perfect for us and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Thank you for such a welcoming experience.

We will definitely be back here. We enjoyed the house and the area. Kees and Marion are particularly pleasant and helpful hosts. Everything is generously present in the house. From good cookware to sufficient dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea and basic herbs. The location is particularly beautiful. Beautiful hiking trails directly from the house. Beach, sea and dunes nearby. And you can also go shopping nearby.

We had a pleasant stay at Barbara's cute chalet. This is equipped with everything you might need and can be reached via a longer staircase behind the hotel. Therefore, it is very quiet and we were able to listen to the birdsong. In addition, the location directly on the dunes is great, you are on the beach in five minutes. There is also plenty of free parking space available there. Wijk an Zee has also offered us a good starting point for things to do in the area, such as visits to the cities of Haarlem and Alkmaar. Check-in went smoothly and upon our arrival we also received many tips, especially for walks with a dog. We were very pleased. Barbara was very friendly and helpful.

Cute accommodation, in a green and quiet environment, equipped with everything you need. Easy to move to tourist destinations. recommended!

Anouk is a very friendly and caring hostess. She prepared our arrival very well and was always available to us. We immediately felt comfortable in the small, bright and cozy cottage with the very idyllic garden. The beautiful surroundings invite you to take long walks and great bike rides. In the 10 days we saw and experienced so many beautiful things and after each excursion we always returned to the cottage with pleasure. Thank you, dear Anouk

We spent a week with our two dogs in this great cottage and the at least equally beautiful surroundings. We met Tinda in person upon our arrival. She is a very sweet person 😊 There were both "treats" for us and for the dogs. We found the bed very comfortable and it was wonderfully quiet in this place. We made great excursions around the area. My personal highlight and one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had was the "cuddling lamb" on Texel 😍 The beaches are also just a dream and our dogs had a wonderful time there!
