This was our first stay in a Yurt - it was very unique and great experience. The property had a nice hiking trail. It was very cool to hear & see (thru the sky light) the rain coming down. It did rain the few days we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor firepit - but we do plan to stay again later this summer. Ellen was a great host!

What a magical place! I can’t wait to come back. The view is incredible. If you walk to the beach at low tide, you can explore incredible tide pools. So much to do in the area!

Todd and Monica are among the nicest people you are ever going to meet. Very flexible with our reservation adjustment. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and at home. We stayed in their yurt in mid February and it was cozy and warm. The bed was also very comfortable. Great location proximal to Schweitzer ski hill.

Yurtlandia is awesome! Had a fun stay here. The yurt is very well stocked and the grounds are lush and beautiful. Michael was a wonderful host, very communicative and accommodating. Neighborhood is very safe and there is parking in the driveway. The only thing to consider if you are going to work while there is the wifi is weak and dropped out a lot. This stay was a great way to experience Portland.

We loved our stay in the yurt. It was a beautiful space inside and a very private location. Appreciated the detailed directions for how to find it as the road in is easy to miss. Temperature management and hot water were great, better than expected. Would love to come back!

We live locally and just wanted a quiet weekend, thought the yurt looked like a fun little getaway. The place was marked well and was easy to find. The property is a a couple miles off the interstate on a lot in the country with Walmart, Starbucks, CVS, multiple gas stations, and other shops only five minutes away. Everything was clean and organized and as described in text and photos. Mosquitos were a bit of nuisance but the provided citronella candles afforded some relief. The on-site propane grill worked flawlessly.

My husband and I spent our third anniversary at the Yurt by Pend Oreille Lake and we had a blast! The Yurt itself was cozy and warm and the pellet stove was easy to manage. I added on the extra romance package which was a lovely addition. The hot tub was easy to use and the balcony lights helped seal the romantic atmosphere. We even had enough space on the patio to roll out our yoga mats to stretch under the trees. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

We loved our stay here. The hot springs tub is super fun and the yurt has all the little things you might think of to make your stay comfortable. The view of the river is pretty and it’s a good jumping off spot to explore Thousand Springs.

James has created a truly special place for anyone lucky enough to stay in his yurt. You couldn’t be more immersed in nature. From the warm welcome to the helpful tips on local adventures, the entire experience was excellent.

This place is an absolute gem! The property is beautiful - we especially loved our mornings on the porch, drinking coffee and watching the turkeys and deer walk by. The yurt is very cozy, and it was stocked with everything we could’ve needed and more. If we didn’t have so much planned to do, I would’ve been happy spending all day there, sitting in the hammock or by the creek reading, or even just laying in bed (the mattress in the yurt is sooo comfy!) The surrounding area is full of awesome trails and river spots, and the yurt’s still a super quick drive from town if you need to grab food or anything. It was an easy 1.5 hr or so drive to Crater Lake too! Anne was also an incredible host - just the sweetest person! She made us feel right at home, and was so helpful during our stay, which ended up being longer than we originally planned. But we’re grateful for the extra time we got to spend on there, and we can’t wait to come back!

This has gotta be the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The way the host set this place up makes it feel like you are right at home. You can tell they care about taking care of their guests and giving them a good experience in the mountains. 10/10 would recommend and hope to book again for a full weekend stay in the future.

beautiful place to get away and unplug from electronics. plenty of things to do from bean bags to board games, you will definitely not feel bored . and don't worry there's still cell service!

The yurt is beautiful and unique. The setting couldn't be matched and there is a gorgeous view from the yurt. The clubhouse area was a great place for our group to gather and play a game or hang out. We were so pleased with our entire experience and hope to come back. The only thing to note is that there is not a pull-out couch. It is a futon, so two adults sleeping there was a squeeze. It would be better for one adult (so 3 total) or children. But we made it work! Thanks BV Overlook. Y'all rock!

An absolutely amazing place to stay! The Yurt was super nice and clean. The outside was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet, secluded getaway in the forest of the north. Plenty of room away from the road to let the dogs roam as well! My favorite part was the outdoor swing! if you're looking for the best home base while in the UP, you cant go wrong with this place. From cooking food on the campfire, to being in a great location for sight seeing, it has everything you could ask for. Even an outhouse with a view! A big THANK YOU to the hosts for maintaining and sharing such a wonderful place.

Evan’s place is a beautiful escape. I came for the views and they delivered! It’s close to a small waterfall that you can hear from the yurt which was so nice to fall asleep too. The downside as others have mentioned are the amount of bugs that make their way inside but Evan does warn that it is a camping experience. We also experienced an issue with the battery having no charge when we got there but Evan was very responsive in helping us out with that. Overall, it was an enjoyable getaway and I’d love to come back!

Jamie’s place was amazing. Much more than expected. Beautiful yurt that is surprisingly roomy. Great amenities and super clean. We truly enjoyed hiking for hours through the expansive property with clear cut trails. Our dogs enjoyed the quiet countryside and long walks through the forest. Be sure to check out the shale creek with a waterfall and 200 foot cliffs! Quiet mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee were perfect. The yurt has everything you’ll need for a great time, ac was great and having a kitchen made dinners easy. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay. Thank you!!!

The yurt looked just like the pictures. It was cozy and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Check-in was easy and quick. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this little Yurt and had a great time! We did the hike recommended by the host and then stopped at a local winery. The location was great and peaceful and absolutely no people around! Thank you!

This was our second year at the yurts. Always a fun time! The yurts are clean, inviting, and comfortable. We come with 6 people and have plenty of room. It is close enough to town to easily get food. The hostess is informative and friendly. The kids were able to swim in the hostess pool and had a great time. They take great care of the trails they offer as well. We love that if there are more guests that stay in the small yurt, they have their own space and a fence in front of their yurt. We have decided to make this our yearly vacation spot and intend on coming back next year.

I loved my few nights here! my stay was peaceful and restorative.
