What a fantastic airBnB experience! Beautiful home, just as described. Peaceful location at the end of a dead end street next to incredible rock formations. Chelsea was proactive, response, friendly etc.. all of the things you hope for in a host. Would absolutely recommend.

Really enjoyed my two nights at Spafford’s dome. It was really peaceful, comfortable and spacious (for one). Highly recommend.

Staying at Terry’s place was magical and endlessly restorative. The home was better and even more magical than I had anticipated. You can tell each part of the home was crafted with so much thought and consideration. The home is so aligned with the landscape of marfa you will feel very in tune with the town. I came for my birthday and terry even had the sweetest card, flowers and cookies waiting upon check in. It was so touching. The bedding and bed was also very comfortable and the room darkening curtains were great. We didn’t use the upstairs bed but the view seemed great and has its own ac. The kitchen supplies are also wonderful and we found ourselves cooking every meal that wasn’t bordo. I hope to be back many more times! Loved every second of the house, the character, the books, and especially the tub out back. Magic.

The stay we had in our earthship was life changing! It was nice to unplug from our busy lives and appreciate how nature relates to us. This concept is such a great idea! We loved sitting out back at night and watching the stars. It was such a clear and lovely sky without any light pollution interfering. It was only a ten minute drive to the rio grande gorge bridge. We watched the sunset there.

Truly incredible and unique place to stay. If you’re in the area you don’t want to miss this stay. It was only 15 minutes from Taos and yet very secluded and private. Given that it is an underground home made of adobe you can expect a bit of dust and a few friends with more than four legs. I will also say the shower ran out of hot water very quickly. Still would highly highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay and everything was well communicated. The environment is beautiful with a great sunset view. The space itself was clean, fun and loved all the nice LOTR touches. Host was accommodating to our needs. There was no hot water but we were told in advance with fair compensation. Would stay here again! We are sorry we missed the llamas!

Kristin’s place was great and she is an excellent host. The house was totally comfortable - comfy bed, plenty of towels, good kitchen. The setting is spectacular, really beautiful views. The orientation of the house makes it feel like you are miles from anyone. We would definitely go back.

We spent the first four nights of our honeymoon here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home is perfectly located—close enough to explore Glacier National Park and visit Whitefish, yet peaceful and private for relaxing at home. The house is well-stocked with everything you need, making it just as easy to stay in and unwind as it is to head out and explore. A truly wonderful stay!

The house is full of character and the garden is well maintained and charming. Walkable to Old Town where we had a wonderful dinner at Antiquity and listened to music in the town square.

Such a cool place! We loved all of the creative and thoughtful touches. Exploring the stargazing tower and taking the treasure walk made it extra fun for our 12-year-old.

Amanda and Dan have an amazing location with a view that can’t be beat! It is peaceful and tranquil with all the amenities you might need. The bed is super comfy and the outdoor space is abundant. They provided a good balance of privacy and friendliness and are accommodating—going above and beyond to help even with an unusual request we had. Would absolutely recommend this property to others!

We had a wonderful stay! The space is beautifully curated with charming vintage furniture and decor—every corner felt thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the cozy fireplace and the stunning view. At night, it gets peacefully quiet, with the sound of frogs adding to the atmosphere. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and made for a perfect way to wind down. While the stay is on the pricier side, and guests are expected to tidy everything up clean dishes and take out the trash at this price point, we didn’t mind too much. it was worth it for a nice experience.

The little hobbit house was great! We also didn’t know much about the nearby town of Traveler’s Rest before visiting here, and it had some of the best food we’ve ever had. Great experience overall!

We had a wonderful stay. We were looking for somewhere peaceful and secluded. The house was very comfy. We slept well in the bed. The bathroom was awesome. I really liked all the big windows in the bathroom. It was a really a different experience to take a warm shower with a beautiful view. I loved it!! The first night, We lit the pit by the hot tub. And it REALLY warmed up the water. It was too cold outside by the time it was ready so we didnt get in. We'll plan it better next time. The second night, we BBQ'd and we had everything we needed for the grill. Lucas really thought of everything. We will definitely be back when it's a little warmer at night so we can appreciate the dark sky and beautiful stars.

What a dream to stay in this special architecture, have a private pool in the heat of Oaxaca, and sleep in beautifully arranged beds in air conditioned bedrooms. La Punta has many fun surf bars and you can walk (down dirt roads) straight into town. If you want a simple surf experience in a small beach town that hasn’t they hit max development, along with a stepped up spot to stay, this is it. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Such beauty and tranquility! Stunning view from comfortable patio. The house was immaculate; complete with everything one could need. Furnishings and art work made everything first class! We would love to revisit.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here for our mini-moon! The scenery was fantastic, the accommodations were a Tolkein fan's dream, and the food was absolutely delicious - we enjoyed the shire-cuterie board we ordered, as well as all of the second breakfasts. Lael was also super responsive and attentive throughout our stay. As a bonus, we were able to visit Lassen Volcanic National Park without too long of a drive :) We hope to return in the future!

This is truly a magical place. The rooms are well decorated and maintained. We love the idea of the Earthship community. I’d definitely recommend everyone to stay here to experience the amazing tranquility of this property.

What a wonderful stay! The place was cozy, clean, and even more beautiful than the photos. Nicole was kind, thoughtful, and made us feel right at home. Everything we needed was there. We’d happily stay again!

Absolutely amazing location at the mushroom mud hut! Beautiful view overlooking the vast valley and mountains. Unfortunately it was quite foggy while I stayed for my two nights and the view was covered by fog quite often. Still, I got to enjoy it and was very peaceful and very cozy inside with the fire place and the supplied fire wood. The hots were very lovely and helpful. There is good reception there but the wifi does not work well in the cabin and is not recommended if you need to do some online work but your time is better spent disconnecting from your devices and enjoying nature, highly recommend.

If I could give the Earthship a million stars, I would. My buddy and I spent a long weekend there, exploring the area's hikes, swims and food...while also deeply enjoying the sauna, views, kitchen, and cozy touches of the house. We found ourselves not wanting to leave and instead opted to spin records and lounge while taking in the Taos breeze. Courtney was communicative and friendly. Everything was easy and better than expected. Can't recommend more highly...will definitely be back.
