Recommendation!! Monte Placido is truly a Paradise on Earth. We have had the vacation of a lifetime in this incredible location. The flats are located on the top of a small hill, surounded by the most beautiful nature and embedded in a lovely garden with pool and barbecue area. Don and Diana are great hosts and were helpful with recommendations for anything in and around Samana. Monte Placido has enough space to allow for everyone's privacy, on the other hand, meeting Don and Diana as well as the other guests for some drinks by the pool definitely gave us a feeling of community that we enjoyed. Thank you for the outstanding stay!

Albert, and his local friend Humberto, have been some of the best hosts in my experiences on AirBnB. Very accommodating, easy and quick to reach, and provides thorough recommendations and instructions getting to/from/around Lake Atitlán. The property itself is situated in a very private, yet reachable part of the lake. We had no issues getting boat transport to/from the property. Additionally, it's a short trek to the local town where you can find restaurants and family owned local "tiendas" selling some groceries. Outside the house, it is surrounded with plants of all kinds and the views of the lake is breathtaking. Inside the house, it is very cozy, open, and has all the amenities. Wifi was fast and phone signal was strong. If I were to visit again, without a doubt I'd stay back at Albert's casa principal.

As so many others have said, this is more than just a place to stay. It's an incredible experience. The pictures capture some of the perfection of this cozy Hobbit Hole, but can't do justice to all of the thoughtful touches Cynthia and Pepper have included throughout. It's clear how much love and attention have gone into this home! This trip was a surprise for my husband's 40th birthday. We spent our time watching the Lord of the Rings, playing board games, and eating many meals. The cold and rainy weather, which prevented us from exploring more of the area, made our stay feel all the more cozy. Cynthia and Pepper were kind and responsive hosts, and they've set up some wonderful adventures around their property, including a Quest, Archery, and an indoor scavenger hunt that we loved doing. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and can't wait to come back again!

We have been to a number of Airbnb places in Black Mountain. This one tops them all. The home was above par. The view is incredible. They have comfortable places to sit inside and out. The neighborhood is NICE. The bed is great! Easy parking if you have a newer vehicle. We absolutely did not want to leave.

I stayed here 1 week with my father. La Cueva is a perfect place to stay if your going to Las Galeras. Private location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants and the bathroom is amazing! Hans is really nice, he is always avvalible and is there for you if you have questions. I would recommend this place to everyone and I would stay here again if I am going back to Las Galeras.

Luca & Nico are great to work with. We loved the chef service!! It’s a great place to stay with a large group.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the breathtaking views. The bed was very comfortable, the showers/ bathrooms were very clean and nice. The staff there were incredibly friendly and even showed us around the property and places to take pictures. Despite the incredible stay I feel like some improvements could be made. The road to get to the raunch is marked but was difficult to navigate for me being from out of state. I also feel like there could have been a little more transparency about the road to get there as i was very intimidated getting there so make sure you are comfortable with off roading your vehicle in rocky and hilly terrain.

Amazing location with gorgeous views. The stargazing was incredible. The description of the driveway and road to get there is very accurate, so an AWD vehicle is definitely a must. Bathrooms are super clean and convenient. Super nice! Rich's communication leading up to and during our stay was proactive and very helpful. One of the coolest places we will ever stay!

Had a great stay here, loved the remoteness of the place (35-45min from Moab), the stars were incredible and the room was great and cool. The 2mile drive is bumpy and in places rough, which is fine with a higher clearance car. Would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is wow! This place is very unique! The location was great for visiting the parks in the area. We also felt like we were staying at our own park. This location was very remote and off grid which we absolutely loved. The property had everything you needed and Rich gave excellent tips and information. I personally love to stay at locations that are a bit more rare and this was absolutely it. I would recommend this to anyone!

This Glam-Camp is surrounded by the canyons which makes it so special. Spending the night in a room that's build in a cave adds to the memorable experience. Although the equipment of the room isn't exactly luxurious (although for camping it is), it is still very thoughtful, provided some goodies like tea, cocoa and a scented candle. Definitely a unique experience.

We had such a wonderful stay at this most amazing and unique home! The house is set into the cliff, with stunning views of the lake from most bedrooms, plus the multiple terraces. Tatiana Elena was so responsive and wonderful, and Jacky was just the best and so helpful, we are grateful for their hospitality. Stairs to the pool are long, but it's a gorgeous setting once you're there - we didn't want to leave. The house is well-situated, very easy walk to town and lots of great restaurants. We will definitely be back, thank you so much for an incredible stay!

Beautiful home/jungle escape! The views from this place are spectacular and it was so relaxing waking up to the natural surroundings. Each bedroom has a great view not a bad one to pick from. It’s a little walk to the beach but totally doable and to stay there and have those views totally worth it. The showers take a while to warm up but they do and it’s a huge house so to be expected. Great stay and we would love to rent again.

A perfect way to spend a peaceful weekend. A hobbit themed home with so many wonderful items related to the books/movies. Highly recommend for LOTR fans and anyone wanting to get away yet close to town, stores and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space for each of us girls on our girls trip/bachelorette weekend. Comfortable and cute design. Loved the concept. The wildlife around made it feel even more like a little storybook fairytale shire home :)

A stunning place to stay while exploring Sedona! The views were absolutely breathtaking—both sunrise and sunset were unforgettable. We were lucky enough to be there during a full moon, and watching it rise over the red rocks to the east was truly magical. The location is perfect—just a short drive to incredible hiking trails, shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Overall, an amazing stay. Highly recommended!
