An excellent weekend spent in this beautiful accommodation. Matches the photos and descriptions, even beyond expectations, it seemed bigger than in the photos, very positive. Clean place where we felt at home: cozy, cocooning and warm. A beautiful exterior for breakfast and other meals outside. A big thank you to Audrey for her exchanges and availability. I recommend it! ✨

We arrived late and left early. Pierre provided clear, easy self check-in instructions. Cute, well-equipped little house in the center of a small village. All we needed for an overnight stay.

Great!!!! Martine and Richard are truly exemplary hosts! The place is really a small haven of peace, quiet, peaceful and perfectly maintained. Despite the language barrier, we were easily able to understand each other and even had the opportunity to share a little moment around a small coupette 🤗 Dark ( my 4 paws ) has clearly validated them too I would even say LOVED! Their generosity, kindness my touched, contagious positivity! All this to say that I would recommend it without a blind eye! Thank you very much friends! See u later on 🥰

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. A tranquil oasis in the middle of the Charente. Lee and Karl are great hosts and their Gite is immaculate and beautiful. Lee’s restaurant recommendations are brilliant and make sure you go and have cake at Gateaux!!

Very good stay at Sylvie's cottage, who is a friendly and welcoming hostess, in a peaceful countryside as we like it.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

A timeless place, where the soul breathes 🌿💫 This cabin in the heart of the woods is much more than just accommodation: it is a true interlude of harmony, a return to the essential. Surrounded by the forest and the river of almost unreal beauty, we felt a deep connection to nature... We were able to enjoy an aperitif on a boat, rocked by the water and silence, which gave us the impression of being alone in the world, the evening by the fire, the walks in the beautiful forest with our dog, who also loved the experience... We only spent one night there, but our minds stayed there much longer. Thank you to Abigail for sharing this beautiful place, for this luminous and rejuvenating experience 🤍

A dream week for us and our dog. Spacious house, very well equipped, offering a large, fully enclosed outdoor area. All in a charming little village, on the edge of La Sèvre. Good stay in the Marais Poitevin and also very close to the ocean. Really a good place! We'll come back and if possible to Laura's.
