Beachfront holiday rentals in Newport Bay

We stayed at the Dana’s Ocean View residence in Huntington Beach for several days in early May 2025. We brought our small pup hoping to find a location that was close to the beach and near restaurants and stores. Its proximity to so many places within walking distance means we can spend more time staying active and exploring places nearby. After long days of fun and sun, the back patio with a fire pit and grill meant we could relax outside while the ocean breeze rolled in. The residence itself was clean and well maintained. We would spend time here again without hesitation. Thank you Dana for allowing us to stay here!

We loved this place! The location was amazing, just minutes from the beach & walkable to great shopping and restaurants. Host was very responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

This place was perfect for our family! My husband always has a difficult time sleeping away from home, but he didn’t have trouble sleeping here! The beds are super comfortable, along with the linens, pillows, etc. We were able to get great use out of the wagon and boogie boards. I loved the location; we walked to the beach in under 10min, walked to the grocery store, and of course my husband enjoyed his morning walk to Starbucks every morning. The kitchen had a beautiful gas stove where we enjoyed cooking every night. Greg, I can’t thank you enough for our best family trip yet!!!

We had an alternate booking cancel less than 24 hours of arrival so I was in a panic to find something dog friendly. John responded immediately to my booking request and was very helpful. The place ended up being a great location a block from the beach and just a walk to lots of great food. Very clean. Thank you!

Hidden gem right here and I am torn between telling everyone I know about it or keeping it a secret! I loved Laguna before, but staying in Mark’s place has really made me enjoy and love it even more! Staying here and not in a hotel made it feel like home and to be able to walk the neighborhood and walk down to the beach every morning has truly made this an incredible trip! I can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. We stay in Newport often and this is one of the best bang-for-your-buck spots out there!

Great stay. Plenty of room for a family of four. Very clean with everything you could need. We spend a lot of time enjoying the roof top view. Loved the convenience of the beach toys locker. Enjoyed walks to Harbor Village for fish and chips and breakfast at the Stratford. Sea lions were a fun bonus. Would definitely stay again. Top notch hosts!

This unit within Hamilton Cove has been our best vacation yet. The views from the balcony were stunning. The entire unit felt clean and was very spacious for me and my now wife. The golf kart was a plus - it was a short 5-8 minute ride into downtown. Hosts were responsive. Definitely will be coming back to stay here again!!

Joseph is a great host and the place truly is a tropical paradise with easy access to the beach & downtown Oceanside in walking distance (.5 mi). The property does feel like a hotel but having an “adults only” hot tub is nice to get away from children if you’re wanting that. My friends and I walked to local restaurants and coffee shops each day. The place is very clean and he’s got pretty much everything you could need include extra fans and sound machines if you need some white noise to sleep, which I do so I was pleasantly surprised! Will stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

We were celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday. Girls trip. The place was amazing! So very beautiful. The furnishings,like the dining table and table in the living room also the headboards in both bedrooms were spectacular! The views were awesome from every room. Our local contact person was Ana and she was very helpful during our stay, especially the night we locked ourselves out on the patio!! She rushed right over and was very nice to us , when she could’ve been irritated with our interruption of her evening. But she greeted us with a beautiful smile and kindness. The location is great, we liked being the short distance from the main shopping and restaurants. It was just a short golf cart ride to get there, but far enough away to feel relaxing and peaceful at the day’s end. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Im so glad I found it

We love the location and amenities at Paul’s place. Very quiet unit and lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful surroundings. A new hot tub opened by the pool during our stay which was wonderful!

View was spectacular! Loved the decor style! It’s an older unit but still well maintained. Loved the amenities and proximity to the beach and restaurants in Oceanside. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful. Location, location, location!! We loved our stay at this airbnb in Newport Beach. Being right on the sand just a few blocks from the pier and so many restaurants and shops was such fun. I worried about privacy with so many people walking, jogging, biking etc right past our front sliding doors - but I realized the glass is mirrored, so during the day no one can see in. At night there are full shades - so privacy was not a problem. The apartment looked just like the photos. It was very clean and had everything we needed despite how small it was. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Great to have garage parking - but beware - it's a small spot. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed 3 nights here! The moment you walk in, there’s a nice view of the beach! Enough towels were provided for our stay (both beach and bath). Location is excellent! There are two separate showers with great water pressure. Comes with a dedicated parking spot in the garage and there is also a bigger paid parking lot close by. Unit comes with air conditioning as well. Highly recommend you stay here!

Great location - for proximity to beach and value for money this can't be beat. Kitchen was well stocked but also tidy - so much keurig usage (thank you!) plenty of bath and beach towels, cozy fireplace, and very nicely sized master suite upstairs in main house. For a family and in laws this is PERFECT.

Scott’s place was perfect for our family - with dogs and a toddler. The place was close to the park for walking the dogs plus a playground for our toddler. The house has ample space inside and out. It was easy to find and it was located on a not busy road, but it was close to the beach and a coffee shop. It was a great stay for Newport Beach!

This was the second time in the space of a year that we stayed at this property. It’s amazing for young families. Everything in walking distance and literally 100 yards from the beach. Very quiet area, and perfect location to walk around and explore. The property is kept so well, and always super clean and tidy. You really do feel at home here. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will definitely stay here anytime we’re visiting Newport Beach!

It was a nice apartment at a great location. Had only a queen bed which was listed so that was on us. It was well stocked. The location was the highlight! Balboa Island is so peaceful, dog friendly and lovely to walk around. Whether just on the boardwalk around the island or into town- this apartment is ideal!
