Beachfront holiday rentals in Newport Beach

This place was exactly as advertised. We spent hours sitting outside in the yard relaxing during our stay which is exactly what we'd hoped for. The location was perfect: right near the beach and restaurants but in a quiet community. I'd love to stay here again.

We stayed at the Dana’s Ocean View residence in Huntington Beach for several days in early May 2025. We brought our small pup hoping to find a location that was close to the beach and near restaurants and stores. Its proximity to so many places within walking distance means we can spend more time staying active and exploring places nearby. After long days of fun and sun, the back patio with a fire pit and grill meant we could relax outside while the ocean breeze rolled in. The residence itself was clean and well maintained. We would spend time here again without hesitation. Thank you Dana for allowing us to stay here!

First and foremost, Anna is an incredible communicator. We greatly appreciate that as we booked last minute and she was able to get us set up. She’s so understanding and quick to help out. The place was clean and just as explained. Awesome stay at an awesome resort. Definitely going to stay at her place again.

The bungalow at Newport Beach was perfect for our family. We had beach towels, chairs,umbrella surf/boogie boards and beach toys available for use along with a wagon to haul items. We had convenient walkable access to beach. There is not a drip coffee pot so we had to purchase one. The weather was perfect and I loved having the windows opened for fresh air. We hope to be back in the future.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

This place was perfect for our family! My husband always has a difficult time sleeping away from home, but he didn’t have trouble sleeping here! The beds are super comfortable, along with the linens, pillows, etc. We were able to get great use out of the wagon and boogie boards. I loved the location; we walked to the beach in under 10min, walked to the grocery store, and of course my husband enjoyed his morning walk to Starbucks every morning. The kitchen had a beautiful gas stove where we enjoyed cooking every night. Greg, I can’t thank you enough for our best family trip yet!!!

We had an alternate booking cancel less than 24 hours of arrival so I was in a panic to find something dog friendly. John responded immediately to my booking request and was very helpful. The place ended up being a great location a block from the beach and just a walk to lots of great food. Very clean. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time at Hamilton Cove in Catalina. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, linens were soft. Thank you for being a responsive host. We recommend to others and would return again.

We were celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday. Girls trip. The place was amazing! So very beautiful. The furnishings,like the dining table and table in the living room also the headboards in both bedrooms were spectacular! The views were awesome from every room. Our local contact person was Ana and she was very helpful during our stay, especially the night we locked ourselves out on the patio!! She rushed right over and was very nice to us , when she could’ve been irritated with our interruption of her evening. But she greeted us with a beautiful smile and kindness. The location is great, we liked being the short distance from the main shopping and restaurants. It was just a short golf cart ride to get there, but far enough away to feel relaxing and peaceful at the day’s end. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Im so glad I found it

Catalina island is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. I've been a few times but this time we decided to stay for bday and mother's day for my wife and our two children. Steven's place is absolutely perfect. it sits in a prime location in Hamilton Cove high enough up to get a great breeze and close enough for peek-a-boo views of the ocean. The stairs can be a little much but not nearly as bad as other units as our 3 and a 5 yr old seem to handle it fine and really its to park the cart which was a life saver. My kids loved traveling the island on the cart and looked forward to sitting in the front to watch all the action. The place is exactly as the pictures show and the unit is very comfortable with a beach home feel. we loved our stay and look forward to coming back. Host was super nice and very responsive making our stay a perfect getaway from the hustle of daily life.

Tiffany is an incredible host. She is easy to communicate with and was proactive informing you of what to expect, easy instructions both checking in and out, as well as recommendations. She answered any questions I had in a timely matter to. The golf cart is a great addition as well to easily get to Avalon. Bottom line up front everything was very simple so that my girlfriend and I were able to fully enjoy our stay on the island. The villa was beautiful just like the pictures. It was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend booking with Tiffany at her villa in Hamilton Cove. Just a heads up if you’re going to eat on the balcony don’t leave any food unattended for a second or the birds will swoop it. They’re watching and waiting for an opportunity. Happened to me lol. Thank you again Tiffany for making our trip so much easier to enjoy.

I’ve come to Catalina a few times in my life, and this trip was by far the best one because I stayed at Trevor’s place. Hamilton Cove is stunning, and it’s awesome that it comes with a golf cart.

Brent was an awesome host. He made sure to communicate everything with us prior to our stay so we had all the information we needed. We purchased the all day Catalina plan to check in early and he was flexible to accommodate our later check out as well. This was a great idea because we had access to the golf cart early and were able to take advantage of the full day. The place was as pictured. Beautiful ocean views, and clean. Lots of extra linens and blankets if needed. Super easy location, as it’s in the second building from the entrance - which makes it a quick jet into town with their golf cart. The descanso beach club and zip line eco tour is just two minutes down the road, and town is just 5 minutes away on the golf cart. We used the islands ride share app called circuit to get to and from the ferry which was only $4 each way! We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back to Avalon. Another property owner even helped us when we had some trouble with our golf cart! The best!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless—everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The location was incredibly convenient, close to everything we needed with easy access to restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept great. The design and furnishings were modern and stylish, and the amenities went above and beyond—from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches throughout the home. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay again!

The cottage was so cute and spacious for us. We are literally 2 min away from the sand. Beds were comfortable. The only thing that stood out were how thin the blinds were in the upstairs bedroom. At night. You can see the outside lights and see the lights on every car that passes by as well. On our first night the neighbors to the left of us were loud. And on our last night the neighbors that arrived to the right of were super loud . We had to close our front door at some point. Other than that. We enjoyed the space.

The place was very nice, clean, and close to lots of restaurants. I wish it had been the upstairs unit, with not much space between the sliding door, the wall, and pedestrians walking by it was a little too close for comfort for me, otherwise it was a great condo. The hosts were very communicative. I have one CON, that bed is HARD AS A ROCK! But if you like a firm bed then it will work fine for you.

Had a great stay! Perfect location, just one street away from the beach and the pier. Todd was very communicative. There was an issue with the garage during our stay and Todd took care of it very quickly and had clear communication through it all. We had an exceptional experience! Fits 4 people maximum. The two sofa beds unfortunately weren’t very comfy and could’ve used a mattress pad! Luckily, after a day on the beach we were so tired that it didn’t really affect our sleep.

Our stay at Ellen’s place was wonderful:) Studio is equipped with all you can possibly need. On top of that organic coffee, cheeses and champagne made our days and evenings even more special 🥰 Location is perfect!! 10steps from the beach and walking distance to everything(park, tennis courts, grocery store, restaurant, pier). We did not use a car at all while visiting! Last but not least, hosts are very lovely people who welcome you with open arms! Thank you, A&S

This was the second time in the space of a year that we stayed at this property. It’s amazing for young families. Everything in walking distance and literally 100 yards from the beach. Very quiet area, and perfect location to walk around and explore. The property is kept so well, and always super clean and tidy. You really do feel at home here. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will definitely stay here anytime we’re visiting Newport Beach!

I came for work and stayed for the surf. A perfect set up for hitting the local break. There’s even an outdoor shower to clean off after. Kitchen had all the supplies needed. Great home base, definitely recommend
