House holiday rentals in Newfane

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

Historic house on a beautiful property. Kitchen had all the equipment you could need along with top of the line stove and oven. Make cooking for a large group easy and enjoyable!

Large house in a very remote area. Approximately 70 acres. It was very relaxing and was nice to enjoy the pool which was professionally cleaned before arrival. The master bath has an incredible view of the mountains and an enormous shower. Pool table was fun and well taken care of. We stayed on probably one of the hotter weekends and the house cooled down at night pretty well just by opening the windows. Most rooms had ceiling fans if no other fans were provided. I can imagine this house would be amazing in the winter or fall too. With the screened in fireplace room and additional fire place inside the main house. You’re also close to 2 ski mountains each about 18 miles away. I could see myself renting again in the future. Thanks again

My daughter and her husband with adult sitters stayed here to attend a wedding. Some of us stayed at the Downtown Marriott. They have three small children and enjoyed the pool. House was nice and in a great location to downtown .

Staying here is always a joy for the entire family! It has become an annual tradition that we all look forward to in winter. Thank you for being so accommodating with our schedule and a special thanks to Mitchell for going the extra mile to snow blow a waking path for me and the dogs to keep our daily routine of visiting the horses, after the last storm brought over 13” of snow. P.S. the new stove/oven is amazing!! 🤩

We had such a great time staying here! The house was so cozy and clean and was perfect! Felt like being at home and not staying in an Airbnb. Super close to the mountain, especially if you park in carinthia! Loved the guest book that they have in the kitchen, a fun added touch! Robert was extremely responsive to any messages and super accommodating with us and our needs! Absolutely would recommend staying here!!

9 adults and 3 children all met up for a family weekend! We came from NY, NH and Maine! The house was perfect! Plenty of room to gather or separate! Even tho it was a chilly rainy weekend the kids managed to get in plenty of pool time! Tanya was very responsive and Melvin was the greatest! Our first morning he came right over to fix a slow drain. Diana and family were amazing super friendly, accommodating and checked in on use through out. We arrived later than expected but Diana waited for us and showed us around the property. We even got to see her dogs, meet her family, met the horse on the property behind and great conversations with Diana. She made us feel right at home. She prepped the pool for us, left us some good snacks and offered lots of recommendations. When you visit check out the theater set up, it’s pretty cool with insane sound system and clear video. Comfortable beds and all around beautiful property. If you visit in the summer it is a little warm on the second floor but we cooled off in the pool and just made sure to turn the fans on. It was the perfect birthday trip, relaxing, private and homey. My family and I are already looking forward to the next trip. Thank you to Diana for everything and hope we can meet again! 100% recommend.

A really terrific, historic Farm House in a beautiful setting...quiet and peaceful, yet only about 10 minutes to Newfane village. Lots of room to spread out, comfortable furnishings. Host and manager were easy to communicate with, fast responses. Would definitely repeat when in the area.

This place is a true gem in the mountains! Everything is new and so clean and well-organized! The hosts were very responsive to the couple of questions we had. We all had such a good time and lived the hot tub and sauna time with plenty of room to spread out in the house! We had some rainy weather but it didn’t matter because we had such good space! We will definitely book this place again next year!

Gene’s house is a place of peaceful quiet and beauty. It’s well appointed and comfortable, with wireless and all the various conveniences, but it’s far more than that. The separation between the interior and the beautiful meadow and forest outside dissolves through Gene’s use of windows and glass doors, and the calming sound of falling water can be heard in every room. His use of color and symmetry create an environment that allows you to decompress, and as a result, you can’t help but to connect with the beauty of the forest. The waterfalls are wonderful to sit by; it was too early in the season for a swim in a cold mountain stream, but that’s just me. The design and setting of the home is a reflection of Gene. If you visit, I recommend that you get to know him a bit. His kind attentiveness makes him a first-rate host, but it’s part and parcel of his uncommon connection to the world around him. Gene was more than a host to us- he became a true friend. We will be back.

Everything looked just like the pictures—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Ashley was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Great experience overall!

The host, Suzanne, was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions and requests. We had a lovely time at the house. It was relaxing and comfortable. We also were thrilled to schedule horse riding lessons while visiting. The trainer, Jayda was an excellent teacher! The location is an easy drive to Stratton, Brattleboro, and Manchester. We also went to the Newfane Market, where you can get excellent sandwiches and a variety of delicious scratch baked goods. We had a laid-back, peaceful stay. All the conveniences that we needed! Very cozy and comfortable! Beautifully neat and clean and totally loved instructions for each room. Very thorough in extreme details on how to utilize the her home. Looking forward to coming back again.

I was planning on my proposal and wanted somewhere special. The window house was exactly that. Private, peaceful, super clean, amazing views and wildlife. Taylor and Marla were EXTREMELY good at communicating and getting back in a timely manner. If you and your significant other are looking to get away, this is the place. It’s sublime.

Glenn was incredibly kind and responsive, and the cottage was exactly like the pictures. The space was perfect for a couple-day getaway before starting my MFA! Also, if you need good local recommendations, Glenn has you covered.

Stayed at the Post Haus twice now. Loved it both times. The property and private location is perfect for our rescue dog and is beautiful with the cool river water rapids and unique sky watching experience at day and night.

This was our second stay at Ellen's house. It's really one of the most magical places you can go. We were so happy to be back and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

We loved this home. It was very convenient to Brattleboro and Wilmington. Definitely check out the Starfire bakery and coffee house in Wilmington. The house is peaceful and private. We enjoyed exploring and playing with the pool table and games the hosts provided. 5 stars!! 🌟

Would love to come back some day, great trip

My husband and I spent a long last winter weekend here. The condo was perfect for ski on/off and we enjoyed a day on the mountain. Though the weather wasn’t great the whole time, Brittany & Jen were quick to send recommendations for things to do, trails to hike and their favorite restaurants. So close to lots of great spots in this little mountain town. We would absolutely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be coming back! All of our questions were answered leading up-to and during the trip, communication and instructions were completely clear. The space was better than we could have hoped for and felt very comfortable for our group. 10/10!

We loved our stay at this house. The house had everything we needed and we loved the area. The stream in the back is absolutely lovely, and the gas fireplace made us feel very cozy and relaxed during our rainy couple of days. We will be back.

We loved the little touches too - the record player, local art, etc. and it was the best nights sleep I've had in months. one of my favorite air BNB experiences to date.
