Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Lorna was a great host and made us feel very welcome. She met us at the property and made sure we got in OK and had what we needed, even though she was getting soaked whilst doing so. The property was very well presented and lots of nice touches to make it feel very homely. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

This is a great family Airbnb with an ideal location, walking distance to the beach and Tynemouth high street. Our dogs loved the garden & all of the beach walks I’d throughly recommend a stay here

It is a really nice place to stay, lovely private garden and watching the birds on the bird feeder was amazing, I counted over 10 different species! The beds & pillows were excellent and my daughter & I slept really well. Excellent Airbnb

Wendy was a great host and made sure we had the relevant information as we needed it and checked all was well when we got to Rose Cottage. The cottage looked just like the photos and the description was spot on. We found it very comfortable, well decorated and furnished and very clean. It is a 15 minute down hill walk into the city. We preferred to get a taxi back up the hill which was easy because there are several taxi ranks in the city. The parking permit was brilliant and once we parked on the road outside the cottage we didn't move the car until we left. There was plenty to do in Durham. We particularly enjoyed eating Sunday lunch at Isla but you do need to prebook. I can highly recommend Rose Cottage when in Durham.

A lovely home for a break in Alnwick and we would highly recommend this to anyone. Parking outside the front door is very convenient and the house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts on arrival. A really nice and unexpected touch. The location is brilliant and only a few hundred meters to the centre of Alnwick with a supermarket, restaurants and good pubs all close to hand. We will visit again. Thank you !

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautifully decorated with so much character—stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. This was our third stay at this lovely flat and we can only reiterate the reviews we posted previously... Great flat in a perfect location for touring Northumberland as well as looking around Alnwick. Clean and nicely furnished. Easy parking with the parking disc. Communication excellent. I had a query on arrival which was very quickly resolved by a very helpful phone call. If you want to self cater there is a Morrisons less than 5 mins walk away. Otherwise there are lots of restaurants and takeaways. This flat is highly recommended. We will return!!

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

A lovely, spacious apartment with lovely bees across to Warkworth castle. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It’s in a great location for walking into Amble and exploring the southern part of Northumberland.

Nice quiet area, flat was spotless Linda was very friendly and helpful, near the Metro station so easy to get into Newcastle City centre, really nice stay.
