Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Forest District

We have just had the most incredible stay at Nichola’s place for my sister’s hen do. From the moment we arrived, she was warm and welcoming and met us to show us around. She also came to say bye at the end of our stay and asked how we got on which was lovely. The house itself is amazing and somehow exceeded our expectations- the photos look brilliant but in person it is stunning! Would definitely recommend!

Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

Just had a wonderful few days stay at Jayne’s. We felt relaxed immediately and were very impressed with the little touches to make us feel at home. We wanted to explore the New Forest and have some days out at different beaches and the location was perfect, we could get to some lovely beaches within half an hour. Jayne was very helpful with recommendations for local walks and walks within a short drive - Bolderwood was amazing, we loved watching the deer from the viewing gallery. The drive back through the New Forest was stunning and looking at the horses was so calming. We’ve definitely come back very chilled, which is what we wanted. Will definitely return! Strides Barn was a lovely place to stay. Lots of amenities and plenty of board games to keep everyone entertained. Only slight downside was it was very hot inside the cabin and we did not seem to have any control over it.. Other than that it was lovely. Good views, plentiful wildlife and lots of areas to explore a short car drive away.

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. We loved our short stay here. There was plenty of space for our spaniel to run around in the beautiful orchard and lots of local walks. We chose to follow a map that was in one of the handbooks and subsequently had a great day out. There are lots of pubs within a short driving distance and the surrounding towns and villages are picture perfect. We would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet walking break.

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn to celebrate two special family birthdays. It was even better than the photos, which is not always the case, and provided an extremely comfortable and open space to relax in, and great outdoor area. It definitely had the 'wow factor' for us and we couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. Really nicely furnished and a very well equipped kitchen, along with three immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a separate TV room was a bonus and made made the main area much more sociable. Charlie and Ali were friendly and helpful during our stay. We all had a great time, and so did Wilf (the dog), and can absolutely recommend staying here. We would love to visit again at some point in the future. Thanks very much for a happy and memorable stay.

Second time we’ve stayed here. Just as great as the first time. Love the location, so central. Great pubs, restaurants, shops and walks nearby. This Airbnb has everything you need & super comfy beds.

A super flat at a very handy location in the centre of Brockenhurst, a 10 minute walk from the railway station. We particularly appreciated the spacious and well equipped kitchen. There is easy to access to numerous walking routes in the New Forest, both on foot and by train. Brockenhurst itself has numerous restaurants and pubs and a significant WW1 connection with NZ, about which there is a wealth of information at the parish church of St Nicholas and its churchyard.

Last minute booking for myself and daughter to go riding at stables in local area. Perfect location surrounded by owners and guests horses. We even saw badgers in the field from kitchen window. And wonderful to wake up to views of horses. As stated by previous guests, flat is dated but more than made up by fact it is spotlessly clean and the double bed was extremely comfortable. Only slight downside if a couple are using double bed was that it can only be accessed from one side which wasn’t clear in photos. Sadly didn’t get to meet Helen but hopefully we’ll be able to come back again in future. Thank you for a lovely all too short stay.

Very beautiful and cozy home. The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. This place is also in a great location and has great access to shops nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble, Hythe village is walkable and the apartment was lovely - extremely well appointed and even better than the photos.

We had a great stay in Lymington. The flat was very light and airy and extremely clean. It was ideally located at the end of the High Street, so that it was not far from the station, the shops, restaurants/pubs and Lymington harbour. Everything was a short walk away from the flat. We had a great harbour cruise with Puffin Cruises on the Saturday morning. The Ship Inn was less than a 5 minute walk away from the flat and we had a delicious meal there on Saturday lunchtime. This was our first visit to Lymington and we would love to return and stay again in Reagen's flat.

We had a great stay in this lovely flat just off the high street. So much to do in Lymington and the surrounding New Forest. Highly recommend the Tapas bar in the high street. Jill recommended various parking spots for our other car (one parking space comes with the flat), and was quick to let us know that a space had come free in the private parking area for all the flats.

We had a great experience at Stephen's apartament!All those pictures from the site,they don't do justice ,for it's real beauty!The view from the apartament it's idyllic,just stunning☺️☺️We loved everything,the bed it's really comfy,a big bonus for the electric blinds and cleaning,loved the aesthetic decorations,Stephen is 10 out of 10,his instructions for checking in were very clear and helped us a lot!Great communication!Keep it up!Thanks for having us.

Louise’s place was just perfect. It was exactly what I was after. The kitchen was well equipped, the sofa was comfy, the mattress was terrific. Plus, all of Lyndhurst and the New Forest are right on your doorstep. (Don’t miss out on hiring a bike from Woods Cyclery right across the road!) I would very happily stay again. 💕

Lara’s lovely apartment was perfect for an overnight stay in Lymington. It’s conveniently located, well appointed and we really liked that both double bedrooms were a good size and each had their own bathroom (one en suite). Being on the ground floor, it is quite overlooked, so we felt we had to have the blinds down more than we otherwise might, but that didn’t bother us. It was a little noisy early in the morning, both from people moving about overhead and from the boiler firing up, but we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely flat in centre of Brockenhurst, parking a godsend. Everything as described- even down to my husband hitting his head on the sloping walls! Lovely to have two bathrooms. Kate was very responsive in her replies. Great place to stay

Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

Julie was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and helpful. The flat was lovely, it was in a great central location and was well equipped, homely and pristine. There were thoughtful touches such as the welcome hamper and a useful parking permit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to return again.

Just what we expected,some really nice touches like the biscuits and fruit. Quiet and private.

1 Spire View was a fantastic apartment - spotlessly clean with every possible amenity. It was ideally situated for walking in the New Forest without having to drive, as well as being only a short distance to Portsmouth, (Spinnaker Tower & D-Day Museum & Tapestry) Exbury Gardens, & Winchester Cathedral - all recommended. Angela always responded promptly to any questions we had both before our arrival & whilst we were there. I would thoroughly recommend the accommodation.
