Luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed - I would thoroughly recommend Granby Cottage if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the countryside. Although Bradford on Avon and Bath are easily accessible, so you can have the best of both worlds! Amanda and James (and their spaniels) are very friendly and helpful, and we hope to return soon. PS their dog fields are probably the best we’ve visited, and I would advise pre-booking, as they are very popular.

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

It was the perfect place for our young family and dog. Lots of space and peace and quietly whilst being close to the Jurassic Coast. Andrea was a fabulous host, very friendly and happy to help at all times. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

Ruth and Calum were amazing to deal with. Ours was a last minute reservation and they were very responsive and helpful. The location is amazingly beautiful and the surrounds are worth exploring. Very clean and tidy accommodation which is very accurate to the description.

Another fantastic stay at The Salt Shack! We absolutely love it there, each visit has been consistently successful, the house has been beautiful and clean with great things for kids to do. We struggled to leave as my 3 year old announced she “wanted to live here forever” and wouldn’t get in the car! It really is a fabulous place to stay and has plenty to do in the local area, the beach is an easy walk and Chichester is a short drive away. Highly recommend The Salt Shack! We’ll definitely be back again! ☺️

We had a fantastic time at Brookside Farm - Swallow's Return was even nicer than we'd been expecting, with stunning views across the Dorset countryside and everything we needed for a few days of rest. The place was easy to find with the directions provided and we were given a very warm and friendly welcome by Charlotte, Jonni, Stanley and Maurice. They left plenty of local tips and suggestions for us in the apartment, which we made use of. The highlights for us were being given the chance to feed and learn more about their beautiful alpacas, eating out on the terrace in the evening at sunset and enjoying the sound of the brook that runs along the bottom of the farm. If you're looking to disconnect for a few days in a beautiful place surrounded by nature, we'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Conker lodge felt like home from home! The place is welcoming and comfortable with lots of bits and bobs you might need during your stay - the spare backpacks were very handy! The place is super clean and just as described and really welcoming to dogs - our dog loved the pupcake (and we loved the lemon drizzle!). The hosts have thought of everything - I would definitely recommend staying here, thank you

This beach flat is just in the perfect location for exploring the beach, Rick steins and pig on the beach in studland (5 mins ferry ride). The number 50 bus takes you to all of these . Michelle was very friendly and met us on arrival and showed us around the flat . We would return x

We absolutely adored staying at Naomi’s place! Within the first 5 minutes of being there I was ready to leave a 5* review. The hosts showed us round the property on arrival and we settled in to watching the amazing local wildlife - we saw the barn owl, deer, hares and swallows. The field out front was amazing for our two little dogs who have been asleep since we got home from all the excitement. And the interior of the property was gorgeous with everything you could need. The hosts gave us local walks and recommendations. We walked to the oak pub through the woods which we would recommend. We will definitely be back and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you 😊

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

Beautiful stay! I love the desk by the window to write and how close it is to walk to the sea and local restaurants. Would definitely go back!

Debbie was a great host from start to finish, super friendly and down to earth. The accommodation was great also, it had everything we needed and as described. We came to ride the local MTB trails and the location was perfect for it as well the accommodation. If your hiking you can do it straight from the accommodation to the local spots. Definitely would come back in the near future.

David and Pam was very welcoming.Stayed for 1 night enjoyed our stay very cosy everything we wanted and more... The bread and eggs was a really nice.The apartment was close to everything we needed.Would definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this apartment. Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay! It’s such a cosy place, kitchen had all we needed and came stocked with good coffee which is always good! Living room was comfortable and though WiFi is ‘rural wifi’ as described, it was plenty quick enough to watch Netflix in the evenings. Bed was very comfy and clean. Bathroom spotless and with a bath my partner describes as a dream, she really did not want to get out of it! 100% would recommend and would definitely stay again. Great location to discover the surrounding area!

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. My wife and I stayed four nights at Oak Tree Retreat In June. It is a lovely place. It is obvious that a lot of work and care has gone into making this a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Our hosts, Alexia & James, were very friendly and helpful. The gifts of bread, biscuits, hot chocolate and marshmallows on arrival were a generous touch and much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin had all we needed for our stay during which we mainly self-catered. The cooking arrangements were great. The absolute highlight was the hot tub which we enjoyed for three of our four nights! There is lovely walking country within a five minute drive from the Cabin. Local shops and food outlets are close by. I would certainly recommend Oak Tree Retreat to anyone.

The shepherds hut was a lovely peaceful place to stay, it came equipped with everything we needed & was the Perfect break needed. Hot tub was lovely and bonus for the hut having its own bathroom. Decorated lovely nice & clean & overall great place to stay. Many thanks!

The lodge far exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on previous comments. It is beautifully presented, well equipped, and very welcoming. Emma was warm and responsive in her communications, and it was lovely to meet her during our stay.

We stayed at this cozy cabin in the woods for three nights, and it was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. Tucked away in a quiet, serene setting, the cabin offered a perfect break from the noise and stress of everyday life. One of the things we appreciated most was that everything in the cabin worked just as expected—no surprises with the electrics, heating, or water, which made for a smooth and comfortable stay. The cabin had a warm, rustic charm without sacrificing any of the essentials. It’s also pet-friendly, and my dog had the best time roaming the woods. There’s no shortage of things to do nearby either. Whether you’re into hiking, scenic drives, or just relaxing in nature, the location has plenty to offer. We left feeling refreshed and highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect for a bit.

Great little cabin with bags of character- lovely little hotub too. although we didn't get the chance there are a few little country pubs dotted around and apart from Richards house over the fence from the cabin, nothing but green fields. Richard was also a great host always checking to see if we needed any supplied while he was out.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.....for the beautiful tranquil space and setting and for the super-kind and welcoming hosts. This is a little paradise that provides all the comforts of home and with some beautiful walks on the doorstep. Janie and Paul are incredibly hospitable and I cannot thank them enough for making my stay such a relaxed, comfortable and peaceful one as I was in transition during a house move.

I enjoyed a beautiful, peaceful stay at The Studio. The place was spotless with everything you could possible need for a restful stay and Alison was a wonderful host with easy communication.
