Hotel holiday rentals in New Forest District

This was a perfect find. Such a gorgeous b&b. I wish we had more time to spend there. But we were in and out for a party. The breakfast was lovely and just what we needed. Our room was lovely real shabby chic. They even provided an iron. I will definitely be coming back. We enjoyed a beach front walk to Portsmouth to gunwharf.

Booked at the last minute for the night was good value and only a short walk to the old village and a nice breakfast too

The Old Rectory is in a beautiful location, surrounded by lush fields and nature. It’s a perfect place to stay for rambling holidays or just to relax. This original Victorian building was great to explore its grand interior. Caroline was a lovely host and was very welcoming throughout our stay. There was also a lovely dog called Sam that greeted us on arrival! Every morning a cooked breakfast was served at your requested time with fresh tea and coffee. The spread of granola and other cereals was a great addition. Just to note (from staying in the green room) the bathroom and toilet facilities are not attached to the room- instead you leave your room and walk down a hall to them but you are in your own private wing of the house.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable I stayed for two nights in a two bed apartment with a colleague. Booking in at the main hotel reception was easy and simple. It’s a 5 star service from the moment you arrive until you leave the front door A little bit more costly, but you get so much more for your money than the norm.

Was a lovely hotel. Walkable distance to the shops and near a road full of restaurants and bars. A lovely bar within the hotel and breakfast was included ! :)

El alojamiento está muy bien, limpio y confortable y la ubicación es excelente. Tuvimos un problema con el desayuno, ya que en Airbnb figura como servicio incluido en el precio y el personal del cafetería nos ofrecían únicamente el desayuno pagando aparte este servicio. Esto hizo que un día perdiéramos 1,5 h en concretar este tema ya que además el servicio de cafetería es extremadamente lento. Por lo demás, las habitaciones son excelentes.

An excellent short stay. I was called on the day of arrival, to proactively help me check in, and the room was comfortable, very clean, and totally as described. Great location and very walkable. I could not find a fault, and would definitely stay again

Catriona went the extra mile to help us with check in times which helped us massively. The room was lovely and breakfast was great!

Great location, Fabulous price, Clean and comfortable and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when dropping off for the airport early.

Looking for a night away and this was perfect for us - lovely location, we had a ground floor garden room. Had lunch in the bar area and all was very nice and staff were so attentive and could not do enough! Would stay again

The staff from check in where friendly polite and very professional. They made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. Checked in was able to be earlier than anticipated and was straightforward. The accommodation was well maintained beautifully located and well worth the money could not find a thing to complain about. The hotel had thought of everything and did not disappoint. Look forward to our next stay now we have found a little gem

I came for a quick winter break with my son and we had a fantastic stay. The annexe had everything we needed. There were lots of games to keep us busy in the evening & smart TV was easy to use. There was wine and chocolates which were appreciated and everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was really comfortable too- had a great sleep! The Wi-Fi is also really good here- I did have to work there for a few hours and it managed just fine which was a relief. We also loved the location, the annexe is on a quiet farm, when we were relaxing in the hot tub, all we could hear was nature and wildlife. In terms of the surrounding area we went to the Queen Elizabeth country park to walk the trails there, the trails were really well marked- this place is also great for bikes. Overall we had a great time with the highlights being the hot tub and quiet location. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fantastic location for Poole quay with parking available nearby. Great comms and instructions, easy check in. Stylish room and en suite. Highly recommended.

My stay here was charming and very cozy and relaxed which was really perfect for my trip. I booked a regular room, but John ended upgrading me to a private little cottage room on the property which was absolutely lovely. It had a kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, stove, and all the amenities for coffee that I needed. They even placed milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The bathroom was adequete, my only real complaint about the space was the drainage system for the shower. It doesn't drain well, and water pools in the shower and I was worried it would overflow. I discovered soon however the drain isn't properly installed, and figured out that by flushing the toilet or turning on the kitchen sink, a pump is activated which them moves the water through the drainage system which then allows the water to drain in the shower. Kind of a headache, but once I turned the kitchen sink on and let it run while showering, the shower drained properly. Otherwise, it's a lovely place!

Wow! We’ve just come back from a two night stay and oh my god! It was amazing! The house is incredible and beautiful, added bonus of a large hot tub! The gardens are stunning. Fenella is the perfect host! So warm and welcoming. I was greeted at the gate when we arrived and she had messaged beforehand with directions to come into the property. Showed us around and showed us our STUNNING room. So clean and pretty. The bed so comfy too! Best night sleep in ages! Fresh towels and toiletries for us. She came down with a bottle of bubbly for us to enjoy In the hot tub. In the mornings she left a selection of toast and some jam for us. Kitchenette is fully equipped. She left some milk for us to enjoy a morning cuppa too! There’s lots of information leaflets in the lobby and a guide on eateries in the area too. What a beautiful property and what an incredible host. We will most certainly be returning very soon! So welcoming and helpful thank you so much for being so lovely we loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

I, my husband and my dog stayed over night, very tranquil, peaceful. The bungalow was clean, loved the personal touches Thank you 😊. cake was great 👍🏽 . had an amazing sleep, met Ellie briefly, very polite and tentative. thank you

Amazing place, would highly recommend. The out door bath was a lovely touch. Was very clean and tidy. Will definitely love to go back to stay.
