Pro - Its a very good place. The kitchen cutlery is complete. The scenery is amazing. Clean and wifi is good. Definitely come again! Cons - bathroom only 1. So takes a lot of time. The view is great but the location is far from town. Need to travel 40mins just to reach town. So waste time there.

Great place and friendly host . They’ve provided free snacks and drinks. They’ve given us free car ride to the nearest station. Definitely would recommend this place for a peaceful stay.

Gorgeous location and warm generous hosts! We enjoyed our stay in the large traditional home where we played mahjong and go by the fire, but what sets this place apart is the hospitality of the hosts. They offer complimentary bicycles and local treats that allowed us to savor the best of Miyama. We will dream about the delicious food prepared lovingly at the restaurant next door, apart from the idyllic landscape it will be the reason we return.

私自身が民泊2回目です。 オヤジ6人、京都から鯖街道を北上し、小浜をタッチしてこちらに宿泊しました。到着は17:30。バーベキューしたいとお伝えしたら、既にセット準備してくれていました。 チャリで買い出しいこうとしたら、PLANT-2までクルマで乗せていってくれました。 オッサン6人で肉を焼きながら盛り上がっていたら、焼きおにぎりや、息子さんが仕入れたカマを準備してくれたり。 朝ご飯は、かまどで炊いたご飯に魚と味噌汁。絶品でした。 つまり、ホスピタリティの塊のようなオーナーさんです。 そんなオーナーさんが管理されているので、家は清潔に保たれています。 今度は、家族連れていきます。

Fantastic and very accessible location in buzzing area of Gion and the wider Kyoto region with great views of the river yet quiet and relaxing. Hosts are wonderfully proactive, providing everything you need pre, during and post our stay. We loved the place and the hosts were outstanding. I'm a repeat guest! That should say a lot. Place is conveniently located, has everything a single person needs for an extended stay. my favourite local activity was taking walks along the river and watching the trains.

常棒的一次入住体验！ 民宿的位置非常好，步行就能到八坂神社、清水寺、祇园等景点，早晨出门拍照也很方便，避开了人流高峰。周边街区安静又有生活气息，散步时总能遇见一些小惊喜。 房子在四楼，需要爬楼梯，但对我们来说完全不是问题。房间本身干净整洁，布置简约温馨，住起来非常舒服，像是在京都拥有了一个临时的家。 房东也非常贴心，入住说明清晰，有问题也回复得很快。 总之是一次很满意的住宿体验，谢谢用心的接待！

The place is located very close to bus stop and train station.location is good Only if you a bit sensitive to noise then it can be a bit disturbing as you can hear people walking on the floor above your room. rest everything is good.

This was our fifth visit to Kyoto and this was my most favorite accommodation. While this is a small studio apartment so many things stood out to make this such a spectacular stay. Sandwiched between the canal and the Kamo river, you can enjoy views of the river at dawn or sunset or step out to tree lined canals. The apartment is well appointed with everything you’d need for a short stay, from cooking yourself a simple meal to doing laundry. I enjoyed being able to step out quickly to explore, shop, or grab a bite experiencing the energy and noise of the city, but be able to quickly dip back into the quiet and peace of the neighborhood and apartment. Finally, Ken was such a responsive and kind host. I’d love to come back.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié les quelques jours passés à Kyoto au Airbnb de Tadashi. Le logement est bien situé, dans une rue calme et proche du palais impérial. Les principales attractions touristiques de Kyoto sont facilement accessibles en transports en communs. Il est possible d’aller à pied jusqu’à certains quartiers si vous marchez un peu (exemple : 25 minutes à pied pour aller à Gion, 15 minutes pour le Nishiki market ou Pontocho). La chambre était propre et confortable, la salle de bain aussi. Horaires flexibles d’arrivée et de départ. L’hôte était sympathique. Très bon séjour.

这次和好友一起去关西玩，在小黛家住了三个晚上，真的很棒，典雅的日式榻榻米别墅，内部装饰的也很漂亮，住在里面非常有代入感，别墅位处京都富人区，环境非常好，虽然不在市中心但配套设施很好，地铁和便利店都是极短的步行范围内。然后，小黛姐人真的超级好！很热心，入住之前不厌其烦的在微信上回答我各种问题，到京都当天更是开车来山科站接我们，然后给我们详细的介绍京都应该怎么玩，怎么坐车，还让我们碰到问题随时微信上联系她，最后一晚还拿出珍藏的红酒招待我们，给我的感觉不是房东，而是多年的好朋友在日本招待我。

We loved staying here! It had everything we needed and was peaceful and had beautiful surroundings. it was so convenient that it had a washing machine. There is even a delicious bakery next door! I recommend this location! Naomi was so kind and helpful.

Built during the Showa era, the house has survived significant historical events. Taru and Tina warmly welcomed us and shared fascinating stories about the home. The traditional garden view and the lovingly curated interiors make it feel like a living museum. The bathroom, featuring both indoor and outdoor hot springs, was a highlight, providing a luxurious bathing experience. In the evening, we enjoyed homemade aperitifs and Hokkaido octopus sashimi, followed by sukiyaki cooked in a vintage iron pot with local ingredients. Breakfast overlooking the garden was delightful, and we even spotted cherry blossoms nearby. The peaceful surroundings allowed us to fully relax and appreciate the beauty. For a truly luxurious experience, stay in this historic gem when you visit Kyoto!

Chiho was a very gracious host and her house is beautiful. It was also very well stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely return!
