It’s a great place to stay when coming to visit, especially if you have a big group since there’s lots of room.

By far the best stay during our trip to Japan. The accommodation was fun, well stoked, and well kept. We tried to spend as much time as possible in this stay, spinning the vinyl and relaxing. Only regret was we didn’t have more time. Highly recommend to all.

Big family, initially was worried about space and if everyone would be comfortable. the place turned out perfect, made break fast at home easily for the kids and elderly folks with the fresh produce bought nearby! superb experience!

I can’t say enough great things about Uzu’s place. It was so clean and comfortable. When we checked in she was very thorough about the house and also about the surrounding areas and places to go. She had a great hand drawn map of the area that we actually used a lot! The traditional beds we chose to sleep in were very comfortable. Everything in the house is labeled which makes it very easy to find things. Uzu went out of her way to show us local restaurants and spots to try. She is a very friendly host that cares about making her guests stays very enjoyable! One thing we found was that it was a bit out of the way of central Kyoto. However, if you want to experience a quiet traditional neighborhood this is the spot! It’s about a 10 min walk to the closest train station or bus stop. Pro - Its a very good place. The kitchen cutlery is complete. The scenery is amazing. Clean and wifi is good. Definitely come again! Cons - bathroom only 1. So takes a lot of time. The view is great but the location is far from town. Need to travel 40mins just to reach town. So waste time there.

Beautiful home!! Loved spending my time in Kyoto at Ta’s home. Perfect location with train station, shopping area, and convenience store all close by. Definitely recommend!

The room is very clean and tidy. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit troublesome to go to the subway station. The host is very nice.

The neighborhood is great. We loved the Sojiji Temple and closeness to subway, grocery stores and Ibaraki with Osaka and Kyoto a subway away. The host is kind and responsive. The place was less comfortable than I thought it would be for our old bodies, but it is well priced.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious house, perfect for our group of 5 adults and 1 baby. My husband and I chose the tatami-style room to sleep with our baby, and it was a cozy and special experience. The house is located near the lakeside and close to the train tracks, a bit of a distance from town, but that wasn’t an issue for us as we had rented a car. We also made good use of the kitchen and even enjoyed a late-night supper together. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay here!

The house is more spacious than imagined, a typical Japanese tatami room with a modern bathroom, the host has prepared a full kitchenware, washing machine and Wi-Fi, the host sends a detailed transportation guide in advance, prepare a large bottle of water when you check in, it is very thoughtful, compared to the hotel in the same area, the price is many, but you can enjoy the comfort of home.Especially recommended for families or company of friends, private and free. I will definitely stay here again next time in Japan, thank you to the host for making us have a good memory.

It's only one stop away from Namba Station, and it's a quick walk. The room has everything it needs, and there's a washing machine, which is convenient for long-term stays.

Overall, perfect for our stay in Osaka. We wanted a central location, walkable to the main areas that we were interested in, and this was perfect for that. Yes, it's compact, but we knew that going into it. It still had room division (a sliding door), private laundry facilities and a balcony, which was unique to find for this location and price. It's basic, and could have a better laid out kitchen / facilities plan (eg. location of pots and cutlery were a bit confusing, you had to roll away the bins to access them) but we understand that's the nature of organising a tight space. Some other minor things were confusing, eg. it wasn't 100% clear what the wifi or checkout instructions were and we had to assume some things or ask for the info. However the host was very friendly and amenable to our questions or suggestions. Thank you for providing this property!
