It really felt home and Shi was responsive whenever I reach out. Everything went smooth and easy. The house is fully equipped and we enjoyed the bathtub while it was raining.

I loved staying in this Hostel, it was so convenient and close to the subway, it was very clean and beautifully organized. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Aika was so helpful and flexible. I intend to return there in the future.

Great location! Nishiki market was a 2 minute walk. Family mart was just around the corner. Everything was close and convenient. We love the free refreshments and some nice gifts when we arrived. We love it so much we’re already planning my next trip. LOL

Our family enjoyed our stay here. Small friendly neighborhood. Lots of great food a few minutes away. Highly recommend this place and service given by Yusuke! If you come to Kyoto this is the place to stay!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Hana’s machiya, it was a highlight of our trip. It was much more comfortable than staying in a hotel and we got the experience of living in an authentic Japanese style home. The house is beautiful, tastefully furnished, well-equipped, extremely clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed our morning coffee and tea with a view of the lovely Japanese garden. The hosts were extremely responsive and thoughtful. We would love to come back and stay there again.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The property is beautifully maintained, and one of the highlights was the serene koi ponds that added a peaceful, relaxing vibe to the entire experience. The space is thoughtfully designed with great amenities — coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, butter, cookware, multiple sinks and separate bathroom areas made it super convenient for our group of 6. It was easy for several people to get ready at the same time without feeling crowded. The owner also went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, even bringing us air fresheners — such a thoughtful and responsive host. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a group or anyone looking for a calm, well-equipped place to stay. Highly recommend!

We had a good stay. Mineral noise since it was in a residential area. Walkable to public transit and Nishiki Market. AC was very good. Washer and dryer worked well for small loads.

Totally recommend staying here. It’s at a great location. Right in front of a 711 and right next to a really good restaurant. Mio is a very nice person. Thank you for the stay we loved it

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Location gives fantastic access to the city through the Green Line (Karasuma). Easy to access from Kyoto Station shinkansen. Less than ten minute walk to the Aeon Mall. All facilities in working order. The washing machine is very useful in extending the usefulness of your carried clothing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage. The house was very clean and spacious. For us, the best part was the location. It truly felt like we were locals living in the community where Cozy Cottage is located. All of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and the stay definitely made our time in Kyoto extra special. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a bit of a slower pace in Kyoto.

We loved our stay at Yamano’s place. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, but it was just a short walk to the river, bus stop, and train station. The hosts were extremely responsive and kind. They met us at check in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also sent suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area.

This house is lovely awesome and perfectly clean. Our stay was wonderful and more worth the price. The private onsen inside the tiny Japanese garden is beautiful. The location is very quiet, near the river and less 5 minutes by walk from the station and konbini. Everything you need is provided inside the house, so you don’t have to worry about

This was a very cute apartment just 20 min by train to dontonbori area. It is steps away from the train station which was so convenient to travel to tokyo or if you are coming or going to Kyoto. The host was also very kind and allowed us to check in just after noon. There is also a lawson, 7/11, mcdonalds and KFC around the corner, as well as an amazing coffee shop right outside the bnb. Highly recommend the place!

Seiko’s place feels like a home. It’s pretty and quirky and cozy enough that every afternoon during our 5 night stay, my husband and I, along with our two teens, would head back to the apartment to put our feet up for an hour or so before heading back out. The shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water. The air conditioner works well and we were happy to have it for a summer visit in Kyoto. The location is great for getting around but also quiet. Things to note are that the bedrooms get bright in the morning and that the traditional beds may be uncomfortable if you like a soft bed.

Shogo was an amazing host!! His home was clean and he had so many great directions in english for me and the other guests. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Kyoto! I know we will be back :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Taka's place. This was our longest stay in Japan (went to Tokyo and Hakone) and, it was a great place to land. It was the perfect size for our family of three and, after a long day, we were able to stretch out in different rooms to relax/have some alone time. Great neighborhood. We found an excellent ramen shop down the street that we went to twice and it's a quick walk to philosopher's path, which was glorious. There is a good breakfast place within walking distance and the bus stops right in front. Will stay again next time in Kyoto. Beautiful spot.

We stayed in Naoyuki's property for 4 days and loved the stay. The room with 4 futons was amazing and very traditional with Japanese decors. The proximity to the bus stop and tram/train station was extremely convenient in terms of transportation. The stay was as warm and cozy as Kyoto.

Dans un quartier tranquille et agréable (beaucoup de bons restaurants abordables à proximité), voici une maison typiquement japonaise impeccablement organisée, très spacieuse pour un couple, avec des détails charmants (le jardin intérieur jouxtant la chambre à coucher) et une hôtesse très réactive. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter!

Gorgeous place with a nice quiet location by a station and restaurants. Hosts were very kind and were happy to help us with our bags and give local recommendations.

At our arrival it was raining and we were lost. I didn’t know we had to meet at the office it’s about a 10 min walk to the villa but the host was so kind to walk to us and gave us a tour to the villa. Overall the villa was nice and clean. My friends and I enjoyed our stay here
