Apartment holiday rentals in Muskoka Lakes

This was my wife and I’s second time visiting Midland to attend the annual butter tart festival. Our previous rental unit last year was great as were the furnishing so the bar was high for this year’s Airbnb rental. In fact, the “Home in Midland” rental unit and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The rental unit's location was only minutes from the festival and most amenities such restaurants, waterfront and stores. We never moved the car during our stay since everything was within a short walk. About the hosts welcoming attitude and hospitality: Upon arrival, we requested an early entry which was granted without hesitation. We were also fortunate enough to meet one of the hosts (Shelby) she was extremely pleasant and assisted us in making sure we were in the right parking spot, which was well indicated. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to get to our unit and were pleasantly surprised at the space of the rental . The pictures online were absolutely on point and matched expectations.

We were in town for a wedding and had a great stay at Michelle’s place. Great location in the heart of Port Carling but still private enough to relax on the large deck and enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Randy and Sheila’s place. Both were extremely helpful before, and after, arrival. It was a nice, quiet spot to escape the city. The lake was beautiful, and the space was extremely clean. Would definitely return!

We absolutely loved staying at Jessica’s place, it felt like we were cocooning in a treehouse. The location was so close to beautiful Georgian Bay. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed the interior fireplace and exterior fire pit. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Great little place right in the heart of Port Carling. It was a great place to hang out after seeing the sights. Thanks Kelly we arrived after dark and found the lights on waiting for us, warm and even a little ambient music. After a day of travelling, perfect! thanks Kelly.

We had a great stay! Sharon was a very welcoming and friendly host. The apartment was clean, bright and comfortable. It was the perfect home base for our time spent visiting the area.

Kelly's place was great! It's a cozy basement unit with lots of amenities, including kitchen and bathroom supplies you might need. We enjoyed the board games, and the makeup removal cloth is a nice waste-free touch! Check in was easy with the lock box, however the low ceiling and stairs to get in may be an accessibility issue for some. Kelly was super friendly and offered great local recommendations.

wonderful place... the wood fired hot tub is incredibly special and Jeff was on hand for anything we needed... highly recommend!

This has been hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Dawn and Rob have truly thought of everything to make the space feel like home! They were very quick to respond to questions and had great recommendations for the area. The entire place was well stocked with everything you could think of including board games, cookware and much more. We will definitely be back!

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

Chris was an amazing host! Greeted me with a home cooked meal since there was no hydro due to the ice storm. Chris made sure I had everything I needed to make my stay for work as comfortable as possible. I would not hesitate to return to this Airbnb. Thanks Chris!

Paula was an amazing host…very friendly & easy to communicate with! The property was gorgeous, easy to find & exactly what we were hoping for! We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway & felt right at home. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, so we weren’t able to enjoy the stunning, large dock. But we won’t hesitate booking again when we are back in the area….Definitely a 5 star stay!

From the moment we walked in, everything felt special — the apartment was beautifully designed, warm, and welcoming, with softly lit scented candles already creating a cozy atmosphere. We were also greeted with thoughtful touches like a complimentary bottle of wine, cookies, and yogurts for breakfast — such a kind and generous gesture! The place itself is quiet and peaceful, and enjoying morning coffee by the little lake with the fish was simply magical. This stay made our weekend unforgettable. We had a pleasant stay at Janet's place. Location was conveniently close to a number of restaurants, and winter activities that my kids enjoyed. There were a couple of issues that occurred while we were there (missing appliance and one of the showers not working), and Janet was quick to provide solutions to make our stay comfortable, and even offered us a late checkout.

This was our second time staying at Julie’s place and it was great! Will definitely be going back.

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Gerard’s place! It was just as described from the pics and Gerard provided very clear instructions which made checking in seamless. The place was very clean, spacious, and right on the water! There was also a ton of things to do including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, board games, a gym with weights as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We had a great time and would definitely come back again in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Stu and Heather’s place. It was clean, the property is beautiful and the kitchen was so well stocked. We were in town for a show at Casino Rama and it was great to be off the beaten path but still close after a late night. Stu greeted us when we checked in and gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant. We look forward to coming back should an opportunity arise.

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Lynn’s. She kindly let us used some snowshoes which was a must to explore the snowy nearby trails. The sauna and jaccuzi were really appreciated to warm up after a day in the cold! Would like to come back in the summer or fall as it must be stunning as well!

Dom and Christine's place is wonderful. Very clean and well kept. Decorated well and though only a studio, it still felt quit large. Big comfy king size bed that was great to sleep in. The patio with a creek running beside it added to the peace and tranquility I was searching for in this little vacay. Dom and Christine were very friendly and helpful and prompt when I needed to message how to get the shuttle to the village. Having a shuttle available to book throughout the day was super handy and it made getting over to the village seemless. Used the hot tub the last evening there and it was quite enjoyable. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 visit for me and I would love to come back another time to any of Dom& Christine's properties!

Beautiful place just a few minutes from the Village where there are great restaurants and shops. The condo was everything we expected and more - fabulous open concept and bright. A deck overlooking the golf course and the Blue Mountains - it doesn't get much better than that. The hosts were responsive and delivered on all the promises made in the description. Absolutely loved this cozy little Airbnb! The space was super cute, warm, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beds were incredible, so soft and comfortable, I slept better than I have in ages. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, comfy stay!

Sean is very Friendly and Professional. He responds to messages quickly. He is an amazing host where he is checking in on us ensuring if we needed anything he is only a phone call away. We have been going to the Resort for years. Easy to get too, very peaceful and the Units are so simple but nice. Not many places take pets but Sean's does which helped us alot. The beds are super comfortable, probably the best sleep I have had in a long time. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our Stay. The Kids loved the gym to work out and then we spend quite a few hours at the pool. The fire pit was nice to sit at especially with the chilly weekend we just had. We will be back for sure to be Sean's Guest.

It was very comfy and the access of a kitchen was amazing. The bed was also very comfortable, and everything was neat! We were able to easily use the TV as well! Overall really great!
