Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Morgantown

We stayed for a weekend in the spring and the kids wanted to stay another day. It was peaceful and just what we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time celebrating our daughter's college graduation. The spacious house and deck was great for everyone to mingle without tripping over anyone. Definitely would recommend this place for your next gathering.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

We had a little problem! Not her fault! Had a storm and the electric went off. Sherry came right over with lights and was very helpful’ the kids enjoyed no electric for awhile and practiced chess! She has lots of games! We went for the Blue snd z gray Reunion! Great!

Beautiful, quaint and peaceful! sweet little cottage with a lot of history. Decorated like you went back in time yet very cozy and nice. Our host Kenneth was easy to communicate with. We definitely will stay again in the near future.

ONLY WISH WE COULD STAY LONGER! We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Terra Alta! The resort-like community is absolutely stunning and truly "almost heaven"! You and your family will enjoy long walks and access to the activities offered by the property. The home is spacious with plenty of room (we had 6 adults in our group). The lake view is stunning and Wendy has thought of just about everything. The home itself was impeccably clean, detailed amenities and has a warm and welcoming feel. It was the perfect spot to celebrate our daughter's graduation! We only wish we could have stayed longer! We can't wait to come back and truly come back. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

This was a perfect stop for our one night in between hikes. Very clean and comfortable. Peaceful area. The hot tub was very nice!

This AirBnb was one of the cleanest, well decorated I’ve ever been. It had everything needed to complete the perfect stay. The master bed was extremely comfortable. I wish we had more time here to explore the beautiful grounds.

We were in town for WVU graduation for my niece and wanted to stay somewhere away from Campus with a little more peace and quiet. Shari's place was one of the most beautiful and well-appointed we've ever stayed at on Airbnb. She has literally thought of everything and the pictures dont do her place justice. It is home away from home vibes. She even left us cake pops decorated WVU colors and a bottle of their own BBQ sauce from their business...how nice! They have everything from multiple coffees, tea, hot chocolate and water...to makeup wipes and bandaids. Shari has not missed a detail in her place. We only stayed an evening due to the drive to WVU being a little further away than we expected (country roads) but that one night was perfect. If you're looking for relaxation...this is the place.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

I had an outstanding stay at this Airbnb! This is my second stay and Diana’s home is exceptionally clean. It’s beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Nestled in a peaceful natural setting near the river, it offered the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. The large deck was a highlight—spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with grills, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of biking or exploring. The property is a short ride into town off the GAP bike path, which made it incredibly easy to get out and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Despite its quiet location, it’s just a short walk to a fantastic coffee shop (don’t miss the scones at the Tissue Farm !) and several excellent restaurants. This place truly offers the best of both worlds—tranquility and accessibility. I highly recommend it and would gladly return!

This is the most beautiful, serene spot in Morgantown! There is so much wildlife here for you and your pet to enjoy. This place has everything you could need for a terrific stay with very caring host. You won’t want to leave!

We absolutely loved staying at this cute little place looking over the river. The place was very clean and the bed super comfy. The town is sleepy but is surrounded by so much nature and outdoor activities. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Nicole was extremely nice, gave great local recommendations and directions. House was beautifully maintained and had all the amenities we could need. the bed was the most comfortable bed I've spent a night on while out. WiFi code that was provided and super helpful because Verizon counted at roaming in parts of the area. WiFi was also very good. She also provided snacks and baked goods that were amazing. The location was also one of the cheapest stays in the area for what you can get. Couldn't recommend enough! 5 stars across the board!

Absolutely wonderful spot - 5 stars across the board! Very secluded and serene with relatively few houses with almost no traffic/quiet neighbors - but in about 30 minutes you can get to Confluence and Ohiopyle for restaurants and activities. House was exactly as described/pictured; lovely and comfortable. Hot tub was exactly what was needed after a day of hiking! Will stay again for sure. FYI bring a vehicle that sits higher/has good shocks - last 2 roads to get to the house (about 0.75 miles in total) are pretty roughly semi-paved and straight down/back up.

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

Was in WV for our daughters graduation in Morgantown from WVU was a little bit of a drive but it was a great fit for us and our group. Would definitely recommend and are considering going back for just vacation.

What a beautiful, clean and well-equipped house! We loved gathering there with our extended family and dogs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nice equipment (not junk) that was easy to cook on. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and felt at home in Sara's beautiful place. The house is very remote and perfect for those looking for a private getaway. And we are very thankful for Sara's hospitality. She was incredibly responsive and kind.

This stay was my first experience using AirBnB. Amy is a wonderful and most helpful host. The property is amazing. There are a lot of trails around the mountain to explore and the pond is beautiful. Every morning and evening, I would see at least 15 to 20 deer while walking the dog and the only sounds around, were the birds. Thank you Amy, I will definitely be back the next time I visit West Virginia.

This was a perfect stay for us. We were in Farmington for a 2 day fly fishing course with Orvis. Tony’s cabin was very close, reasonably priced, and exactly what we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin was in great shape, immaculate, with everything we needed. The two bedrooms are virtually identical, which is nice with two couples. We would absolutely stay here again. Internet was fast and, the TV is large with Roku for streaming. Finally, the dining table was enough to seat 4 and still have space for my wife’s jigsaw puzzle!
