Apartment holiday rentals in Morgantown

This was a great place to stay, especially if you are exploring the Blackwater State Park area. Couldn’t be more convenient! We were so pleasantly surprised by the shops and restaurants in the area. The food and the service from the locals cultivated a super friendly environment. The owner was very responsive over messaging the few times we reached out. Couple cons: I will say the listing was a little overpriced for what you get, though the inflated price could have been because of the holiday weekend. The upstairs bedroom would get pretty warm and there were instructions that you could not adjust the thermostat. I can understand the owner not wanting us to mess with the room temperature, the weather dropped from 51 to 11 degrees in a matter of 24 hours while we were there! But if you are a hot sleeper and being able to adjust the thermostat is important to you, it may be something worth considering! Overall I would recommend this listing!

Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

This was a great place to stay to be close to get hikes and it was nice to take a short walk to get to some of the restaurants and shops in town.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute little place looking over the river. The place was very clean and the bed super comfy. The town is sleepy but is surrounded by so much nature and outdoor activities. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

I booked the Tribute for the location. I would book again for the location, charm and creative touches. I also appreciated the local art that adorned the efficiency, the Tribute had all the amenities needed to stay and unwind while exploring the area. Do not hesitate to book this location.

This is a very nice unit in a perfect location. It felt much larger than we expected based on the listing -- it is large for a 2 bedroom place. The front living room/sitting room area was very spacious and has super comfy chairs and couches. Lots of windows and light as well. Kitchen is modern and clean and has all the basics for simple cooking. Location is perfect for seeing Thomas without getting in the car -- coffee shop right downstairs. Lots of hiking options nearby. We will rent it again if we come back to Thomas. Debbie is a great host. Our car battery was dead when we were ready to depart, but she had someone helping us get it started within minutes. Above and beyond helpful.

Mikes place was very clean and was exactly what we needed while in the area for work. Mike was awesome to deal with and very helpful with anything we needed while staying there!

We came for GeoWoodstock, but we stayed for the pillows. Seriously—if finding Tupperware in the woods gave out hotel points, this place would be a five-star cache. The house was super cozy—like “log it and linger” cozy. Bed and pillows were so comfortable we almost DNFed our morning alarm. Hosts were great—super responsive and helpful. Jenn gave us excellent instructions to find the place—way more accurate than half the coords we’ve followed lately. Bonus points for a dedicated parking spot that didn’t require a terrain 3 hike or bushwhacking. And the shower? Let’s just say the water pressure here could launch a travel bug into low orbit. Unlike our last place, where rinsing off felt like a multi-stage earthcache. TFTC (Thanks For The Cozy)! Would definitely log a return visit!

This apartment was perfect for out needs. We were only in the apartment at night so didn't need much in the way of "extras". As a past guest wrote - the furnishings are sparse, but had what we needed. My friends were happy with the coffee pods. Would stay here again if I was ever in Morgantown.

We were in town for WVU graduation for my niece and wanted to stay somewhere away from Campus with a little more peace and quiet. Shari's place was one of the most beautiful and well-appointed we've ever stayed at on Airbnb. She has literally thought of everything and the pictures dont do her place justice. It is home away from home vibes. She even left us cake pops decorated WVU colors and a bottle of their own BBQ sauce from their business...how nice! They have everything from multiple coffees, tea, hot chocolate and water...to makeup wipes and bandaids. Shari has not missed a detail in her place. We only stayed an evening due to the drive to WVU being a little further away than we expected (country roads) but that one night was perfect. If you're looking for relaxation...this is the place.

This was the perfect place for our girls weekend to Morgantown! close to everything, we were able to enjoy the farmers market and the art walk, close to lots of food places. It was very cozy and clean, definitely will stay here again if we find ourselves back in Morgantown!

Everything was great. Anytime I had a question, I gotta response right away. It was close to the hospital, which made me feel safe, very close to the football field, If I wanted to go to a game. We were there for a geocaching event. With over 5000 people from around the world. We pretty much only use the location to rest and bathe, but it was nice to have our own space away from everyone. sometimes things are just too peopley. on the outside, it had inn vibes. But on the inside, it was beautiful. I didn't get checkout instructions so I feel bad because I left a dish in the sink. And some garbage in the bathroom can.

We loved this place! So close to the University and downtown. Very cute, neat and clean. Great instructions on how to get in, where to park, how to check out. We usually stay at the Hotel Morgan, this was the same number of beds but with the convenience of a kitchen and living room. Location is a half block off of High street and was much quieter than a previous vrbo we rented downtown. The only issue for some people may be that the outside lights keep the bedroom bright all night through a large, beautiful semi circle stained glass window. It looks fantastic and brings a nice esthetic, but bright. I wear a sleep mask and the kids live under their covers so it was no biggy for us. We will definitely rent again.

Great place, very comfortable, clean and good parking too. Being over the top of the wine bar was also a plus. We enjoyed a late evening glass of wine with their homemade cheesecake; highly recommend. Thanks Doug and Abby for begin great hosts.

If you need to visit Morgantown for a few days, this is a great place to stay. We had our own little apartment. Saved a few dollars and time by being able to make a real breakfast before heading out for our daily activities. Close enough to everything. Made that very convenient getting to our events. If we ever come to Morgantown again, we would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect place for an Ohiopyle weekend! We enjoyed the property and the area was beautiful! Rainy weekend that in between the storms we hiked and strolled the town! The train during the night was a welcomed reminder that we were connected to the outside world! Beds were comfy! We will be back!

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

We came to Ohiopyle to raft and this was the perfect place to stay! Right in town close to restaurants, close to the GAP trail if you want to run or bike, and close to the rafting company storefronts. It’s walking distance to everything you need, clean, and Andrea is super communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

We booked this place last minute for a snowboarding getaway for a rare Maryland powder day! This place is central, located less than 5 minutes from the ski resort and restauraunts in the area. The hot tub after a day on the slopes was a hit. Cozy, had everything we needed. We were plowed out and the walkway was shoveled for us. Low maintenance for visitors! We would definitely book again!
