Cabin in the Clouds is a beautiful, one bedroom vacation home in a secluded, private community that's very quiet and has been renovated in 2023. The bathroom was completely remodeled, new living room furniture, new marble top dining room table, refurbished bedroom, new floors. There's a beautiful view from our porch that has deck furniture and propane grill. Inside is an open layout with open beam ceiling and pine paneling. Black Mountain is a quaint vacation town, you will love this place.

Enjoy slow pace

This is a 1940's stone cottage. Great fenced in yard with covered area with fire pit, grill, and seating and eating area. Great place to relax and let your worries roll away ( my personal favorite is the Eno hammock). The house also has a great front porch with porch swing. The house is a 2 bedroom 1 bath. It also has sleeper sofa and cot for little ones. It is one mile to downtown and one mile to Montreat college . Pets are welcome, a maximum of 2 dogs, there is a $50.00 pet fee .

Scout’s Den Cottage, very close to Black Mountain.

Welcome to Scout's Den! A cozy retreat walkable to all of Black Mountain's amazing restaurants and shopping. This adorable garden studio is separate from the main house and has a carport with space for one vehicle. This is truly an escape! With no internet we encourage our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains and our small town charm. We do have a TV with a Super Nintendo and DVD player if you feel like staying in. We live on the property full time with our family.

The picture says it all. Every morning, the view out over the smokey mountains while sitting on the porch swing sipping my morning coffee would change with the mist coming through from sometimes both directions. Beautiful does not begin to describe it. Everything that you would want or need was present inside as well. I would stay here every time I came through the area if I could. Hope could not have been a more graceful and helpful host.

My wife & I stayed at Eric's family's school bus on the last night of our anniversary trip on our way home. We wish we could have stayed more than one night! When we stepped inside, it felt even bigger than the "tiny home" cabin we had booked earlier in the week. No clutter, so clean, everything organized and in its place - it was great! The bathroom space (shower & toilet) is, of course, very small, but completely functional. We liked that we could open the big side door of the bus and let air circulate through the "screen door" of that opening (we're not big on AC most of the time, but if you prefer that, it's there as well). Eric was patient with my questions and responded quickly, even came out to the firepit to make sure I had everything I needed there. We enjoyed our stay in the bus - probably the coolest place we've ever stayed!

Felt right at home! Very clean and close to downtown! All of black mountain lost power and I reached out to the host and they were able to bring us candles as well as checked on us multiple times to make sure we were okay, GREAT HOSTS! Came for our honeymoon and was greeted with a honeymoon basket! Will definitely stay here again! Definitely recommend

Relaxing Mountains & Mutts Retreat

I've stayed in many AirBnBs but Tracey's was by far the most well stocked location ever. Great kitchen tools, cooking utensils, way more dishes and silverware than we needed, coffee, teas, snacks (for humans and dogs) and the bathroom had so many extras like toothbrushes, eyeglass cleaner, feminine products, first aid kit....so many things others never thought to offer. Ample supply of linens, blankets, sheets, games and books.....the list just goes on and on. Such a peaceful location. Very clean and well decorated. And sitting under the metal roofed deck in a rain storm was the best! Easy walk to downtown and Tomahawk Lake. We love Black Mountain....unique locally owned shops and friendly shop owners and tourists, great restaurants....this is one of our favorite vacation spots....especially b/c we like to take our fur baby with us and most shop owners have treats and water and there are multiple eateries with outdoor patios where pets are allowed.
