Holiday rentals with a patio in Monti, Rome

Pictures reflected the unit well, was only in town for a layover, was a quiet unit and easy to access.

From the moment we stepped into the place it felt very cozy. In a very quiet neighbourhood and as mentioned, a minute walk to the bus stop to take you to the city of Ancient Rome. Places to eat nearby as well. The highlight of the place was the spacious outdoor patio, where we took nap each afternoons. The place itself was equipped with nice comfy bed, kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove where we made caffe every morning. The bathroom was nice and clean, we had one minor issue on day 1 but Apollonia and her partner came over right away at night to fix it and now that is going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Grazie Mille :) Again, I can’t emphasize the Catello home, would definitely recommend this place and will book it again without any hesitation.

Perfect treat for a dream trip. The location was PERFECT. We traveled with our adult children (6 of us total) this location was above 3 charming cafes, up the street from a great cafe looking at the Colosseum. The AC units were perfect for this hot weather the world has been having and having the lift was great for the luggage. As a frequent Airbnb-er, I understand the limitations of keys - however that was one struggle for us. A code lock box outside or code entry - or 1 extra set of keys ( with a fee if lost??) or even being able to have the outside key alone from the house key- would have been a bonus as we did want to wander alone at times. We had to make someone stay awake to let us in or meet back at the home to swap keys - it worked out fine but that was THE ONLY little bump. The rest was just perfect.

Alessandro was really helpful and made sure we had a great stay. The place was clean and comfortable- very cool - didn’t even need the A/C (even though it does have) - really enjoyed our stay! Thank you 🙏

Michele was extremely helpful, responsive and flexible. Michele responded in minutes to every question. The apartment was clean and was a great base. The terrace was pretty much our lounge when in, but we were out most of the time. We walked to the Colosseum via the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navone in one day. It was 30k steps but perfectly doable from the apartment for a couple in their 50s and 60s. We also had a day out to Anguillara Sabazia. Beautiful lakeside village as seen on Everybody Loves Raymond. It was 3.70 return on the train to Anguilara and 1.50 return on the bus to Anguillara Sabazia. Each way took about an hour in total but check the schedules. Will definitely come to Rome again and hopefully stay here. Thank you Michele.

We have really enjoyed our stay in Matteo’s flat. The flat is as described with very comfortable beds. Kitchen and bathroom are not huge but very well equipped and modern so they work well. Despite being 1 minute walk from the chaos of the Trevi fountain , the flat is very quiet and we slept really well after busy days sight seeing. The terrace is a real asset and a nice space to relax. We had some issues getting into the flat a couple of times but Matteo was very responsive and the issues very quickly addressed. We definitely recommend the flat!

So glad we booked this apartment when there were no reviews yet..:) Superb location— you can walk to most attractions within 30m enjoyable walk. The meantime, once you are inside the apartment, it’s like an oasis, so quiet and peaceful. Everything is just like in the pictures, if not any better. The building itself is not in the best shape, but the apartment itself definitely makes up for it. For us, the best part of the apartment is the views— the sky , monuments, birds, buzzing streets all in one. 100% recommended.

Our stay with Valerio was fantastic! He accomodated our late check in and welcomed us personally and explained all the amenities. The apartment is very luxurious and modern with the jacuzzi being the highlight. Very well furnished, the home had everything we needed. We were close to the Vatican so it made commuting to our tour very easy. We spent the evening outdoor part of the house, and thoroughly enjoyed using the jacuzzi while watching TV. We are glad we chose to stay with Valerio and we highly recommend!

Our stay at Giovanna's was very nice. We were able to get from the accommodation to the city center very well by bus or tram and at the same time had the advantages of a quiet residential area. In addition, Giovanna helped us to find our way around the area and feel comfortable with tips and recommendations. The small attentions that Giovanna prepared for us gave us a good start. We would come back anytime and can only highly recommend the apartment.

Andrea was a splendid host because of how responsive and understanding he was. His place was perfect. It was safe, private, and quiet. When we ran into a glitch, Andrea was quick to offer a generous solution to reconcile the concern. The place had everything we needed for a 10-day stay. Plus, it felt close to the center of Rome without being in the thick of the chaos. It’s close to delicious restaurants, several transit options in any direction, and the idyllic area surrounding Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere. We went there several nights for shopping, dinner, and dessert. It’s an 8-minute walk to Lavasciuga Roma, which I recommend for laundry: €22 and two hours to wash, dry, and fold a week of laundry for three people. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return to Rome and stay here again.

The place is near the bus stop and termini station. You can easily get food by getting outside, I highly recommend to eat at Pizzeria Al Pigneto. The host is very friendly and helpful. I have no complain but the place will be better if they change the sleep lights to yellow instead of white.

We had a very nice three days in Rome. Giorgia is super likeable, responds quickly and helps directly if there are any issues. Her place is very cozy, exactly as shown in the pictures and is ideally located so you can easily get to the center of Rome by bus and train. All in all, we are very satisfied and give our best recommendations!

Antonella is a very attentive hostess. We didn't miss anything at the place. The fast internet is worth highlighting. The apartment is well located for events at the Olympic Stadium.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ghislana’s pristine and cozy terracotta home! The interior is beautifully curated — warm, stylish, and full of charm. We instantly felt at home and were especially in love with the front yard, where we enjoyed our morning breakfasts and evening drinks. The neighborhood was a highlight in itself — Pigneto is vibrant, charismatic, and full of local color. It was the perfect place to wrap up our Italy trip, and Ghislana’s space made it all the more special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful yet lively Roman experience. Alice’s place is exactly what you see in the pictures . Great location , walking distance to Pantheon , Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona . Many great places to eat . A few meters walk to a Carrefour Express and Pharmacy . The place is clean and the attention for checking inn was great ! Plus it has a lift ! ( unusual for old buildings)

Amazing place if you have good energy to climb the 4th floor with luggage and no elevator. But this is a good price for being in the center of Rome and very old historic neighborhood. Rooftop patio is a real gem, but again not for people with physical disabilities. We spent amazing time there!

We had a lovely stay here while stopping off in Rome! Host was very helpful and happily allowed us to check in early so we could go and explore the city.

Place is as described. Very close to the Colosseum, quiet at night. The 2 terraces are special for spending relaxing minutes outdoors. There were 3 of us, perfect for a couple.

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay here again. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Colosseum and within easy walking distance to many other major sights. The apartment was clean, modern, and exactly as described. Our host was incredibly helpful and made everything easy, taking the time to explain how everything worked. No issues at all. This place is a steal! The location of the apartment is beautiful - great neighborhood and just a few minutes away from the Vatican city's St Peter's Square and Castel Sant'Angelo on foot. The apartment is more than spacious for two people and very comfortable. Agata has been a great host, very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay and would plan another vacation at this property in a heartbeat!

My wife and I stayed in Marco’s chalet for the last few days of our honeymoon and loved it! Such unique place - you come into an apartment building, get to the top floor and go through the door into the beautiful wooden chalet with a lovely open but private roof terrace. Marco was fantastic - he had to stop by at one point to switch off the irrigation system for the plants, and very kindly gave us a beautiful bottle of sparkling rosé for our honeymoon. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay just a little bit out of the busy centre of Trastevere, this was a real peaceful oasis to come back to, and it only took us 10 minutes to get to the centre of Trastevere, where we ate every night.

Cool spot in a young, hip neighborhood that still felt welcoming for a family of four. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard as much as we would've liked due to the mosquitos but everything else was great.
